Love this spa!
by jojorockstar
They know how to treat you right at this spa. I can only describe the atmosphere as relaxing, comforting, and papmpering. Some spas I've been too seem either too large, rushed, crowded, high-tech or ultra modern.
Every time I've enjoyed a massage, I think to myself, "this one is better than the last". While I'd like to be loyal to one therapist, my schedule doesn't always work with their days off. I've got 3 great choices in therapists now.

Great Spa!
by Jewelpef
I work in Richardson in a high-stress job and really wanted to find a spa nearby where I could get a great massage at the end of the workday. A Better Body is a great spa! Like some of the others, I don't have the luxury of being able to always get one massage therapist since I only have certain times that I can come it, but I can honestly say that I have only had one "average" experience here. Most of the time, I feel that they have done a world-class job of listening to my needs and really working on the areas where I need relief. I'm a very happy customer!
Pros: Love the Massages
Cons: Prices are a bit high

The Best massage in Richardson!
by wendyyork1
I was told this was the best massage from extremely relaxing to hitting just the right spot! The masseuses at The Spa at II Creeks in Richardson each have different specialties and are NOT CHATTY! I love the serenity of this Spa and the privacy of dressing in the rooms. The over all feel as soon as you walk in is relaxing, from the great directions I received to being placed in a room and attended to immediately for a FULL hands on 60 minutes ( the clock does not start until the massage does) the overall experience is fantastic. Even if they were not the best value in town, I would come here first. I hope you too consider this spa as I did from the fantastic recommendation I have tried to express here.
Pros: Pressure sensitive and over 30+ years of training
Cons: none

Alla is the BEST!
by Lindahappygirl
If you are looking for someone who reallly knows skin and want a terrific facial, Alla is the girl. She really knows her stuff. I love her quiet room and relaxing procedures. She is FIVE stars all the way. Alla is the ONLY person there I will schedule and appointment with. I've had two different massage therapists and felt worse after each massage. I gave them a second chance as well. No more. Just facials and only with Alla.
It is now mid October 2009 and I came back to add to my previous review. I gave the spa another chance with a relaxation massage. It was terrific! I will definately go back for this massage! I also must add that the spa is very clean, quiet and has a very nice atmosphere. I love it there. The relaxation massage is perfect for the end of a long work day. You'll even be offered a glass of wine or champaigne! I can't wait to go back!
Pros: Alla really knows skin types and her treatments are great!
Cons: Didn't like 2 different massage therapists

Noisey atmosphere, unhappy therapists
by AnonymousT
Noisey if your treatement is near the front where people walk, and weird credit card policy. Therapist unhappy. The location is bizarre and hard to find.

Alla Michael is great!
by KWSB
My husband and I have recently relocated from Colorado and I was sad to leave the woman who had waxed me for the past year and a half. I thought I never find anyone better than her. Well, I have! Alla was wonderful! I had an underarm and bikini done, which took approx one hour (a little long because it was the first session). The room was very comfortable with the dimmed lights and music. I could have fallen asleep if it had been for the waxing, which has been the least painful I've experienced in about 8-9 years of waxing. She talked to me about my skin and previous experiences with waxes. Throughout the session she explained what she was doing and asked me how I was doing or if I was experiencing pain. The type of wax she used adhered to the hair itself, not the skin. (This is important for me because I have very sensitive skin, a tendency for ingrown hairs, and a scar in the bikini line.) Also, the good thing about the wax is that the area can have several more applications of the wax (stubborn hairs, odd growth direction, etc.) After the waxing was done, she cleaned up the areas to remove any remaining wax and applied a soothing cream. It's been about a week or so, and the areas have not had any signs of irritation. I'm looking foward to continuing to visit All at The Spa at II Creeks, hopefully for years to come. Please give her a try, especially if you are new to waxing and want someone who is passionate about pleasing and making her clients comfortable.
Pros: Alla Michael, Location, Good value
Cons: None yet

I highly recommend this welcoming and relaxing spa!
by debmeyer14
I highly recommed this welcoming and realxing spa! I have been going to this spa since they were located on Cambell ( about 4 years now). I have always enjoyed the experience. The therapists all have advanced training, and all are very friendly and helpful. The new location and new services are great!
Pros: A great value!

A Better Body - Spa at II Creeks
by BishopAve
What a hidden gem! Once you pass through the doors, you won?t believe you are in Richardson. I had a wonderful experience at the Spa at II Creeks. I arrived looking for some relaxation from a hard workout. . I had the perfect massage. When I walked in the receptionist was curtious and friendly. The staff spent some time talking to make sure that I had the perfect experience. I felt like I was walking on air for hours after my treatment. It was a great afternoon!
Pros: The staff all have multiple certifications.

Ready to go again!
by Spalover75075
What a caring staff! From making sure I knew the way to the spa and that I knew when to arrive to fully enjoy my services, to allowing me to quietly enjoy my treatments ? they didn?t keep up an endless chatter ? to allowing me to just sit in their quiet area to sip tea and relax after my treatments, the staff at this spa made me fell like royalty. I?m now ready to return to my reality and give all I have, again.
Pros: Ambience, Value, Skilled Staff
Cons: A little hard to find, but great directions from staff

Average spa, nothing special.
by dynamitemissj
My massage was good, but the service was a bit mediocre. When I first called, I was warned about canceling my appointment by the receptionist, and upon giving my credit card information, was really put off by the idea that they don't trust their customers. As someone mentioned below, accidents happen, and at times, it's not our fault and I don't feel people should be penalized should they be put in a situation where they have to be charged for missing an appointment due to an emergency. I didn't miss my appointment, I am just very turned off by the fact that I had to give my credit card information to the receptionist "just in case". Many salons do not have such a policy yet they're still successful, if not more successful than this spa. To me, being satisfied with the experience at a spa is not only concluded by if I was satisfied with the massage, but it's the over all attitude and demeanor of the service, which I didn't feel was anything special. I've had better massages, at better spas, with way better service. The receptionists were attentive but a bit curt and unapproachable, but I'm sensing it was because I seemed young. This place is run by older women and it seems like that's their clientele as well, which is not a negative thing at all. Just different. My pedicure, however was excellent. The woman that did my pedicure was very kind, polite, gentle, and definitely helped to make my experience relaxing. That's still not enough to make me come back though, sorry!
Pros: Prices
Cons: Location is hard to find

Awesome!!!
by squerrl
Absolutely exceeded all expectations! Very relaxing, everyone was SO FRIENDLY! The massage therapist was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me without me even asking! I have been to many spas, and if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, friendly atmosphere that's not at all stuffy, please visit this spa, you will not be disappointed! I absolutely will return and am so glad to have found such a sweet little oasis. :)
Pros: Very relaxing, quaint, private, the staff is so friendly!
Cons: None!

Better than ever
by debrayenne
As a client of The Spa at II Creeks (formerly A Better Body Day Spa) for several years, I think I am overdue in telling everyone what an absolutely wonderful spa this is. In all my travels over the years at five star spas, I never found one that consistently offers the high quality of professional and personal service combined with such an aesthetic and relaxing, healing environment. I receive therapeutic massages and nail treatments on a regular basis and I always appreciate the fact that every detail has been thought out to provide the best and most relaxing experience possible. Now that the Spa is at II Creeks, it really is better than ever because of its beautiful and elegant decor, easier parking, quieter neighborhood, more extensive list of services and treatments, and its impeccable service by the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Pros: service and ambience
Cons: none

Very strange credit card policy
by texgirl2762
Both my daughter and I have used this salon several times. I stopped going there (and I have ALWAYS gotten regular manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, massages, etc. wherever I've lived) because of how they handle weekend appointments. When I first called, back in 2006, I was told that on holiday weekends only, they keep your credit card number on file and charge you if you miss the appointment. I thought that was kind of strange, but based on II Creeks's rave reviews, I decided to take a chance. I was a regular! Then, almost a year later, they tell me they do this EVERY weekend. What if you have an unexpected emergency? What if you have a child that gets sick? I tried to ask them about this, but they weren't very nice about it and just said, "That's our policy." I had two appointments pending at the time and cancelled them both. What a shame . . . I spend quite a bit on "upkeep" and would have gladly kept going there if it weren't for this.
Pros: ambience, good facials
Cons: terrible credit card policy

Just around the corner
by nanny22
I?ve been living in this area for almost 5 years and did not know Day Spa is around the corner from my house. A friend told me that she read about this place in ?Richardson Living?. We were pleasantly surprised by the way the spa looks! My manicure and pedicure were very nice! The prices are good as well. They give hand treatments with hot towels and a glass of wine if you are up for it! It is always a great experience.
Pros: Facials, manicure, pedicure.
Cons: Hard to find

Great environment!
by organiccritic
Let me start with the positives: the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, the decor was very relaxing and I was truly impressed with the level of cleanliness and sanitation. Overall, I had a really nice experience. The esthetician was knowledgeable, experienced, and gentle. I received several compliments on my skin afterwards. I do have a few complaints: I thought the prices were rather high for the services and for the location. I also got an manicure and express pedicure and was disappointed that my feet were never submerged in water. Thirty minutes is sufficient time to include a small soak. Instead, a hot wet towel was wrapped around my feet. Also, there was no hand lotion in the bathroom, which is a staple in most spas. I will absolutely be returning for a facial but I will go elsewhere to get my nails done.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, relaxing, facials
Cons: Pricey, nails

If you are in Dallas area, you have to check out the decor and the atmosphere of this place. It is so comforting and relaxing. The service is a plus! I love it! The spa is very Clean, services are always on time or I might have a chance to get some refreshments before my service and I like that too, and the staff is so much fun, I feel like family and I forget about the real world!

Treated like a Queen!
by sinaga
I am a road warrior--travel everyweek by plane all over the USA and internationally. My favorite thing to do in life is to receive a massage. I have had massages in spa resorts in Europe, Asia and USA. Without a doubt, The Spa at II Creeks is the Best Dallas kept secret. The staff is friendly, kind and courteous. They treat me like a queen and really take good care of my body. The massage therapists are so knowledgeable about healing and muscle needs. My wounded road warrior body always feels refreshed, renergized and healed. They are the best!
Pros: Excellent service. Clean facility. Relaxing ambiance.
Cons: For a new comer, the sign is not very clear on the location of the spa.

I Loved the SPA
by mark49
The esthetician there was the best I have experienced. It seems Europeans have extensive knowledge in not only skin care, but over all health as well. She encourages the need to take care of the inner body as well as the outer body.
Pros: All
Cons: None

Totally Relaxing
by kswilson
A beautiful facility. The staff was warm, attentive and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend the Reflexology treatment. I'm on my feet constantly and my feet felt better than they had in a long time. The effects lasted for days, even after a long week. I'll definitely be back, and have recommended the spa to friends.
Pros: Amazing atmosphere

relatively good
by lindsaybee1
I recently moved to this area, and was pleased with how convenient this spa was to where I live. However, I was not impressed with the waxing that was done by their aesthetician. She was really nice, but the whole experience took FOREVER. I have had this service done at many other places, and it usually takes about ten minutes, but this took about half an hour. The woman was really nice, but plan on spending some serious time there even if you're just going for a beauty treatment! Also, it was a bit on the expensive side.

Best place to step away from the stress and renew yourself
by michaeltannery
My wife and I, love going to the Spa at II Creeks. Whether it is for a deep tissue sports massage, facials or a half day retreat, we are always treated like Kings and Queens when we arrive. The staff and management are very kind, extremely friendly and go out of thier way to make our time at the spa an experince.
We have given gift certificates to the Spa @ II Creeks to family, friends and clients and they are always telling us what a great experience they have at the Spa.
Pros: The massage treatments are incredible, they get all of the stress out of you!!
Cons: You have to return to the real world when your time at the Spa @ II Creeks is over!

Spa at II Creeks
by calli15
Impeccable without being stuffy. It's a perfect day spa-you're whisked away by the atmosphere and water wall when you walk in, then energized and rejuvenated as you head back out the door to face the "real" world.
The owners and staff are courteous and professional. A friend treated me my first time in, and I've since been a faithful "routine customer". It's a gem... nice, new, and beautifully appointed.

Spa at II Creeks offers a wide variety of services at great prices. The Spa pedicure & manicure (one hour each) were heavenly. I went with a friend and had a great girls spa day. The cozy atmosphere & incredible staff had me planning my next visit before I had even left.
Pros: great atmosphere & extrodinary staff

The moment I walk through the door I get a sense of relaxation. The atmosphere is soothing, as are all of the staff you encounter. Although they have many services to choose from, my favorite is a therapuetic massage. It is absolutley wonderful!
Pros: conveniently located

One of the BEST in Dallas!!!
by mnietert
I've been a customer for over 10 years and LOVE the service. I've had everything from a basic massage to body wrap to day of pampering and pre/postnatal massages. My favorite - bath (safe air bubbles and big enough when I was 8 mos. pregnant), body polish, followed by mud treatment, the topped off with a massage. I'm so relaxed I can barely walk afterwards! GREAT for dry skin as well. We recently celebrated a friend's 40th bday here with each one receiving a treatment and then lunch - which was fantastic!
Pros: Love their packages and the atmosphere is fantastic!!!
Cons: None.

Great Customer Focus, Experienced Staff, Georgeous Atmosphere!
by kacpeaches
This spa is a gem! The therapists can find every sore muscle in my body without me telling them. I go in a broken person and come out a brand new person! They are very good about talking when I want/initiate conversation, yet quiet when I'm quiet. Every staff member that I've met has been friendly, professional, smiley, comfortable to be around. They have a hot tub that you can soak in before other services - really pre-relaxed me & it does recirculate the water!!
The facials I have received have helped my skin more than I thought possible. They were very informative and offered, not pushed products on me. I don't usually buy - but did from them because of the evident knowledge of ingredients and what they could do for me.
They Spa Pedicure is To Die For! Definitely worth it - & no spa tub/chairs!
They have done a great job with decorating - my husband (a true man's man!) even feels comfortable there. I've tried other spas, but I choose this one!
