Scariest place to spend halloween

by Kristen H. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,013

The nightmare factory is a creepy place that has a line like it was giving away free money. They offer discounts, specials, and a scare you will never forget. A great place to take a group of teens for a safe night out too!

Your in for a Scare

by Melinda E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,220

This is a great haunted house that is open from the end of September through Halloween. It isn't your typical cheesy haundted house and I can guarantee that you will be scared. The tickets are kind of expensive but they do offer specials such as two for one and if possible I would recomend going when they are offering one of these. I do not recommend taking young children.

Not your backyard haunted house

by Charlene B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,079

The NIghtmare Factory in Austin is a great place to get in the mood for Halloween. The prices for wristbands is a little steep, but they offer discounts for multiple trips, just in case you didn't get scared enough last time. The Sunday 2 for one price is the best. They are open from the end of September until Halloween, and aren't just a cheesy spook house attraction.

Definately Worth being scared for!

by Angela W. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,385

The Nightmare factory is one of the Scariest Places I've even been to! It's a Maze and you choose your own level of fright! It's open between September thru the end of October and it's located off IH-35 between Austin and San Marcos. It's frightening for even someone at my age (but don't go alone......) We took our 8 year old and I'll never do that again! Not a place for kids! Ready to go again!! Gets you in the Halloween Spirit!

PROS: Gets you in the spirit of halloween
CONS: Not for kids!!
