City Of Austin Library

I wouldn't recommend the Austin library. When I last visited, it's collections were seriously lacking and it was very hard to find up-to-date materials for a basic research assignment. The computers were archaic, and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. They're also somewhat unorganized and it's hard to find parking. Even if you do find a parking spot, it'll probably be a metered one, so you'll have to pay.
