My foot would not be where it is if it was not for you and staff. The caring, love and friendship will always be remembered by me and my family. I will always remember you and my stay at Cornerstone. My mom was admitted to Cornerstone Hospital in February and was there for 4 1/2 weeks after being at Seton with Pneumonia and a bed sore that was not healing. The nurses and aides at Cornerstone took such good care of my mom and went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of. I have very limited income and no transportation which made it hard for me to come and see her....but Detra in admissions who lives in my town found out about this and offered to bring me to and from Austin 3 days a week no questions asked. I don't know what I would have done if I wouldn't have had her as my guardian angel. Everyone there treated my mom as if she were family. My mom is now back home with me happy and healthy thanks to all of the staff at Cornerstone.

I just wanted to state WHAT A CARING PLACE Cornerstone Hospital is. During a very difficult and trying time in my life, This facility was a shining beacon in my long stint in the hospital system. I have never experienced such caring, compassionate individuals. Not only did they take great care of me, but they became part of my family. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!!

My grandfather was recently admitted to Cornerstone for 3 weeks for a wound that would not heal. After 1 week the wound that developed at another hospital (which will remain nameless) was close to gone... the staff continued to work with him and even got him walking, he was able to return home and visited the hospital last week to personally thank the staff. The rehab and the wound care team are the best and want to thank them.

My mother was there for pressure ulcer treatment. She was rarely turned, not bathed frequently Not clean. Staff was seen talking on their cell phones loudly and didn't answer call lights.

my dad was admitted to cornerstone for wound care and treatment for a related infection. their wound care staff was able to treat the wound and he left the hospital 100% better. They had the most caring and attentive staff of any hospital we have ever stayed at. The food was good and the pharmacy staff went out of their way to explain all of his medications before we left.

My mom recently had a great experience at CHA--she was admitted for LTAC services and she was treated like a queen!! The nursing and the C N A s were superb. I cannot begin to tell you how positive our stay was there. While we were there the hospital was surveyed and the surveyors met with me to discuss our stay---I had nothing but good things to say. We highly recommend their services.

My mother was admitted for what was to be a very short stay, on the second night. After waiting five hours in the middle of the night to have her bed pan removed from under her she called for help from my step dad at home, he showed up to find her in her own feces/wet and cold. She was removed that day.

I had an elderly relative was very sick. She was in the hospital on and off for years and her condition just was not getting better. It came to the point that she was not going to get better and she was not able to care for herself at home. She lived by herself so it was a big problem about what to do about her situation. She was too sick to go to a nursing home. We discovered Cornerstone Hospital. They offer long term care for the sick. The staff was really nice to her...and to us. The facilities were clean and nice and the staff seemed really well trained.
