Kimas Tejas Nursery

I have been shopping at Kimas for a few years, but now that I'm interested exclusively in organic growing, I have a greater appreciation for their service. I get personal service and a lot of information. The prices are higher than what you'd pay at WalMart or Home Depot, but so is the quality and size of what you're taking home.

I recommend this place to all my friends and even have some willing to travel to come shop with me to get the service and selection of native Texas plants and trees.

Kimas has a good selection of flowers and plants, but nothing all that special. Some items are reasonably priced but some are way overpriced. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the service is not what I would call outstanding, but they will carry the items to your car or truck and load them for you and parking is easy. They do have a great selection of natural fertilizers at reasonable prices.

PROS: Good selection and have natural fertilizers
CONS: Some items over priced
