Natural Skin Creations is fantastic. I've been getting my eyebrows done there for a few months and I'll never let anyone else near them again! Never too thin, with a great arch. I recommend that anyone and everyone try this place out.

Have always loved this place, since I found it driving by about six years ago. The cozy romantic feel to it is perfect for couples, especially their Valentines packages. However, recently I went to get a microderm and was very disappointed with Kaylie's work. I decided to let someone other than Kat do it because it was just such a great deal I didn't want to pass it up. Kaylie was very cordial but her touch was just too aggresive. I almost stopped her half way through the treatment. Unfortunatley, I ended up with a small burn that turned into a scab very close to the eye area. Had I known Kaylie was still in training I would have never done it. I emailed NSC about the treatment and Kat asked me to go in so she could take a look at the affected area. I can just say that I will continue to go to NSC and that Kat will do anything to keep you and your skin happy!

OMG! So I went on a Saturday with some of my girlfriends and turned right back around and went on the following Monday. You name it, I am certain that NSC can claim. I have deemed myslef a spa advocate and have been going to them since I was in high school. I am native Houstonian and I am so sad that I have been missing out on NSC all this time. There is no hustle and bustle, no one coming in because they are in the area shopping and just want to drop in (i.e. the Village). It is truly relaxing and super cozy, it feels like home. There is a dog (Teddy) and a cat that reside there. It is so relaxing and comfy, that they even get along! The services are wonderful and make you want more. The staff is phenonmenal and will make you feel a part of their little family! I love NSC and it is officially my new favorite spa! CCF

Myself and 14 of my girlfriends were delighted with the services we received from Natural Skin Creations. Waxing, massages, facials and salt scrubs. Use of the lagoon and sauna.
I have visited several Top rated spas in Houston .....and in comparison to say the customer service we received was wonderful is an understatement.
The treatments were prompt and had all of us glowing all day.

Everyone was very accommodating right down to the little details. Kat (the owner) was super gracious and can be assured that we will be back soon. At least 5 of my girlfriends have booked again for services and 1 even went back the following day.
Real Customer service is what they offer and it is an invaluable service.
Thanks to all of the staff at Natural Skin Creations.

I have never had such a fabulous brow waxing and shaping done as I have had every time at Natural Skin Creations. She is very scientific about the whole process - starting with a natural lotion to protect the skin. She measures and carefully shapes the brows.

It is a very relaxing salon as well. You should try it - you will not be disappointed.

I've been getting my eyebrows done by the same person for years and have always been very satisfied. I was scared to try someone different, but was impressed by the job Kat did. She took her time and shaped my eyebrows with much detail. Her salon is relaxing and I would reccommend it to others.

I'm sorry to strongly advise _against_ Natural Skin Creations for eyebrows.

I grew my eyebrows out for 2 months (2 months!) in anticipation of a great brow shaping here, esp after reading all the reviews on Citysearch. Unfortunately I had someone new (Kylie) treat me (I now notice all the reviews were associated with Kat's eyebrow shaping), and although she was very cordial, she did not do a good job with my eyebrow shape _at all_. Right now they look unarched, patchy and irregular, as if I had done them myself with tweezers. I appreciate that she asked if she could do anything to fix them at the end -- unfortunately there wasn't.

Also, I don't want to cast Kylie, as a new staff member, in a bad light -- I'm sure she is good at the skin treatments that she does. Just _not_ eyebrows, and this should be made aware on CitySearch.

Two things to be aware of: (1) they ONLY do eyebrow waxes -- even though some reviews on here said they had had threading. If I had known earlier, I might not have gone at all -- as a result I am still swollen under eyes, which would be totally fine if I had great arched brows to go with it. (2) the first time you go it costs you $25. In comparison, my old place cost $10, and I have to say certainly did a better shaping, and much faster. I guess I'll have to grow my brows out again and go back to them.

Sorry, Natural Skin Creations. I am disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Natural Skin Creations. Not only is Natural Skin Creations a welcoming spa, every service that I've tried has been of the highest quality.

I am so grateful to Kat for helping me fix my problem skin. It has always been a source of embarassment, but after only 2.5 months of getting microdermabrasion treatments and using her products my face looks and feels great (I didn't know skin could feel healthy but it does). She is so good at what she does.

Kat is also great at eye-brow waxes (one of the best I've ever had) and Jessica is a master at laser hair removal. (I've only had one treatment but it was quick and painless).

I highly recommend Natural Skin Creations for people with problem skin, unwanted hair, or anyone who wants to give their skin a present.

I went to see Kat in the beginning to reshape my eyebrows after reading a review. I was not disappointed! While I was there, we talked about natural products and their benefits and about eating natural foods that will reflect on your skin. I was shown around the house (it's beautiful!) and saw the book "Detox 4 Women" and I knew that I had found my spa as I had recently read the book and had been touting its essentiality! I went back the next month to have a facial because of a headache, and it was honestly one of the best facials I've had. I felt that my skin was actually being treated rather than just being pampered. (And my headache disappeared!) I would definitely recommend this spa and I can't wait until my next appointment.

I recently went for a (IPL) photofacial with Jessica to remedy dark spots and patches on my face. The results were amazing!! First of all, the cool touch machine she uses is vertually pain free ( aside from some mnimal zaps where hair is present -very tolerable and really worth the split second of "ooo i felt that"). Secondly, the staff here is knowledgable and professional. And lastly, THE RESULTS were AMAZING!!! After the first set, my skin was more even, almost all (but one area where it was really dark) of my dark spots were gone! My pores were smaller! and my skin was viberant! After my second set, my skin was completely even..no more spots!!! yea!!!! pores even smaller and I do not have to wear foundation anymore!
Another perk...they often run specials like buy two get one free. The treatment itself is alittle expensive (but not compared to other places that do the same) but it is worth every pennie!!! Let's face it..it's my FACE, everybody sees it! My friends and family noticed the difference after the first treatment.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the soothing, relaxing ambience. I was seen quickly, and Kat explained everything she did. I enjoyed that my eyebrow waxing took place in a private room, on a comfortable reclining 'bed'. I was also pleased that she used a bright light (much like a doctor or dentist) to make sure she could really see what she was doing. Her waxing was next to painless, and she used a frozen ice roller (something I've never seen before) to soothe the waxed area. I left without a trace of redness, which was awesome, because usually I'm red and a little puffy for at least 3 hours. From now on, I'll only trust my brows to Kat! I was so impressed with Kat and the spa in general that I'll be going back this weekend to try her microdermabrasion treatment.

Warm, clean, relaxed atmosphere. Owner, Kat extremely friendly and professional and did fabulous job on my hairy eyebrows. It's not just an ordinary eyebrow treatment. Your first time is like a spa treatment. Highly recommended. I look forward to having other treatments at this jewel in the heart of Montrose.

I have had a horrible experience with eye brow waxes in the past. I have tried many spas that offered eye brow waxing and none of them delivered. One woman even burned my skin and I walked around with red spots over my eyes for weeks! Therefore, as I am sure you can imagine when I decided to give Natural Skin Creations a try for the first time I was a little anxious. However, when Kat was finished with my brows and showed me in the mirror my newly shaped, tamed, and perfectly arched eyebrows I was extremely pleased with the results! I would never go anywhere else. Natural Skin Creations is truly the best place in town to get your eyebrows done.

As I walked in the door I found the place very homey and relaxing. Everything seemed nice, I had called the day before and was under the impression I was going to be getting a $25.00 Bikini Wax and a $10.00 Eyebrow wax. As Katherine was waxing my bikini area she stated "If I wax anymore the price will change to $35.00" so I told her the way it is was fine being that was my first bikini waxing. She walked out of the room and was ready to check me out when I reminded her I also set the appointment for an eyebrow waxing. As she was waxing my eyebrows we began talking about measuring my eyebrows and how most places don't measure. That's when I stated "You aren't much more than the other places, only $10.00" she even said I KNOW!!!! Well I expected my total to only be $35.00+a tip, It was totaled to $60.00 I asked her why??? And that's when she told me the bikini waxing she did was $35.00 and the first time you get your eyebrows done it will be $25.00. Mind you she only waxed the bottom of my eyebrows....one week later my eyebrows are worse than they were before. My advice: Don't go by internet pricing and check your prices before the work is done.

Since moving to Houston I have been to several places to have my brows shaped but was never satisfied. Finally, I can say I have found a place I will definitely return to. Katherine was very welcoming and professional, listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. To top it off the place is beautiful and impeccably clean.

I found Natural Skin Creations in attempt to find a spa that specialized in acne. I was very relaxed the second I walked in ( I had never gotten a facial before) and it was a wonderful experience. I received a consultation, a facial and advice for future visits. I purchased the face wash from her line and have been pleased to see that I have not been getting the same irritating bumps on my face. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed because I had heard that Kat was the best in town and I have been wanting to reshape them! Other places have BUTCHERED my eyebrows trying to wax them and I am excited to see the end result from Kat! It was also nice that the waxing experience was painless unlike most places! I am planning on returning as a regular customer once a month! :)

This is definitely the best waxing I've had. They're very thorough but also gentle. Most places prefer to thin out your eyebrows but here, they understand how to shape one's eyebrows to fit your face. I really love their work and will be going back often.

I've only been to Natural Skin Creations once, but I had an experience that really stood out to me amongst all of the experiences I've had at spas. First of all, when I walked in to make an appointment for a bikini wax, the receptionist went to talk to the owner and said, "She can help you right now." That sort of flexibility was explained during a conversation with the owner. She lives above the spa. So as a result, her hours are very flexible and the place seemed immaculate. Also, she had her little cute dog running around the entrance area. To me, a pet lover, this made the experience more friendly and comfortable, even though I could see this being an issue if someone is allergic or deathly afraid of dogs. But, you should NOT worry about the place being dirty or having pet hair. It was pristine. And, above all, she did a great job. I've always gone to nice spas for waxing treatments, so all of them I've been satisfied with, but I have to say that the quality of the work was comparable to that of places with prices twice as high. I'm definitely going back.

I had my eyebrows waxed and reshaped with Kat ,and I must say, "She was incredible!" She is very meticulous as to which areas needed to be waxed or kept. My sister recently passed away in April from Breast Cancer and I wanted to find a place that I could take the ladies that were so loving and comforting to her. I have been to the Urban Retreat and Trellis but was looking for a place that was would give me the privacy to just relax with the ladies. Katherine Clark book the spa for just us (six ladies) and pampered and made us feel like Queens and forget our sadness. We all decided to have massages and microdermabrasions. I really don't know where you could find a Spa that gives you the kind of service and treatment options that you could reserve all to yourself. It was quite a find! The service the staff provided me and my best girlfriends was outstanding. We had lunch catered and sat in her beautiful spa pool and drank Mimosas while we patiently waited for her to call our name -- we all wanted to be first so we could get back out to the pool and relax the day away. My girlfriend from Bentwater thought that Katherine gave the best facial/microdermabrasion that she bought a package and is driving all the way from Conroe just to see Kat. My guests thought that was most special time we had spent together. We were so relaxed and refreshed. It was a beautiful place. Not a stuffy, uppity type atmosphere. It was heavenly. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for great facials, massages or laser treatments with the option of booking out the entire spa for a private party without paying a fortune -- AMAZING!

Despite all the great reviews, I was nervous when I first visited Kat at Natural Skin Creations. I have had many bad experiences with brow shaping...everything from misshapen & overly thin brows to having the skin under my right brow ripped off along with the wax. Kat is very attentive and quickly put me at ease. She is a great communicator and very professional. She made sure that we were both on the same page as to what I wanted my eyebrows to look like and what she could do to help them regrow. This eyebrow wax was by far the least painful I have ever experienced. My eyebrows looked great when I left and from now on I will only trust them to Kat!

Another thing that I really appreciated was that, at the beginning of my appointment, Kat asked if I preferred to know what she was doing throughout the appointment of if I preferred silence. I prefer to know what's happening or about to happen and Kat walked me through the entire process as she worked. I found that really reduced my anxiety. However, I've also been in the other situation when sometimes you just want to relax and would prefer silence. It's nice to have those options offered up front.

I was long overdue for a serious facial. Katherine is proficient with her facial and micro dermabrasion techniques, and uses high quality products that did not irritate my sensitive skin. I was amazed at the results after just one micro dermabrasion session. The newly renovated spa, welcoming staff, and Katherine's no-nonsense approach immediately made me feel comfortable. I've had many facials over the years - this is one of the most effective facials I've had.

I first came in as a new client to get my eyebrows waxed. And I was greeted very well by the staff. Kat is a wonderful owner, she is obviously extremely experienced. My eyebrows have always been on an up and down rollercoaster. They have never been fully grown out and measured to allow them to fit my face. Kat told me what I needed to do to allow my eyebrows to grow back completely, and after my visit I was extremey satisfied with the end results. Now I plan on coming once a month as a regular customer!!

Ok, I don't always shop for services by citysearch. But with the reviews on this salon I had to try it out. And, happy to say WONDERFUL. Very friendly staff and great little shop in the Montrose area. Not to mention great insight on skin care and a wonderful little back patio area for 'day at the spa'. My only challenge has been finding time to go back more. I was sold in the first session. Going back today.

I received my "DermaGlo" gift certificate as a holiday treat - best treat I've had in a long time. Staff is friendly and accommodating; Kat will tell you what you to know without talking your ears off and the resident pooch behaves himself admirably. If you're looking for hi-end decor and pretentiousness, go someplace else. If you want professional skin care (AND some excellent products to take home) call for an appointment. You'll love it.

I read about Natural Skin Creations from this website, so I want to check out if they are as good as people said, and I have to say that I'm absolutely satisfied. After having too many bad eyebrows' wax experiences, I can finally say that I walked in the right place. I moved to Houston about a year ago and for the entire year I had been looking for someone who knew and could properly shape my eyebrows. I had been to several high end salons and could not find one astetician (sp?) who could properly shape brows. Of course, that is until I found Kat and Natural Skin Creations. Not only is Kat an expert at shaping brows but her prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home everytime you walk in, they are helpful and if you need an "emergency" waxing they will try to work with you to fit you in the schedule. I could not be happier with the results. I would recommend Kat to anyone who is not blessed with perfect eyebrows.

I had a fantastic facial with Marbella today. I've had numerous facials in my life, and this was one of the very best! Marbella really loves her job and it shows in her work. Marbella was very thorough with extractions. I know that there are no more blackheads left on my face! Also, she was always working on me somehow. While the steam was going I got a wonderful shoulder, arm, and leg massage. Not only was this the best facial I've had in Houston (and I've been to at least 5 top spas here), but this was also the best price! I've already scheduled another appointment for next month! I can't wait!

I love this place! I love Kat! At the end of the day I would much rather have a great skin day than a great hair day and Kat gives you that! I have had facials done here before and recently upgraded to my first micro. Kat explained everything and gave me wonderful suggestions to improve the look and feel of my skin. Here is the best part: all week long people have been telling me that I was glowing! Who doesn't want to hear that!

I found Kat and Natural Skin Creations through City Search and I'm so glad I did! I was looking for someone new to do a bikini wax and give my eyebrows some long overdue attention. What I found was the best waxing experience of my life! As Kat promised, the wax she uses makes it practially painless and it was over in no time. She also gave me some helpful tips for try to grow back my over-waxed brows. Her place is very homey, comfortable and so inviting that you won't want to leave. I have lived in Houston for 5 years and I have found some ok waxers but never found anyone to actually SHAPE my eyebrows to my liking. I came across Natural Skin Creations and I was so happy that I did! The service was great, everyone was nice and accommodating and my eyebrows have never looked better! I was so pleased with the service here that I have scheduled my follow up and other treatments!

I've been a regular customer of Natural Skin Creations since I moved to Houston in the summer of 2007. I found them through Citysearch's website and am SO grateful I happened upon them! Marbella currently does my eyebrow waxing every 2 weeks and I continue to be amazed by her abilities. This woman works miracles - even with something as miniscule as the small tuft of hair above your eyes! She's a perfectionist when it comes to her work and I couldn't be happier. I would (and do) recommend Marbella, Kat (the owner) and Natural Skin Creations to anyone who wants to get quality service at a great price. Best kept secret in town - hands down. :)

My eyebrows were ruined by threading. They both looked very different. I went into Natural Skin Creations and they have worked with my eyebrows using natural techniques. My eyebrows are now both even and they look great! Now I get all of my hair removal services at Natural Skin Creations.

I have gone to NSC for a year now. I always get my facials and waxing done by Marbella, who is wonderful. However, Marbella no longer works there anymore and not all customers are being told this when making their appointments with her. Just wanted to let those of you who do your internet research aware of this, so you don't book an appointment thinking Marbella will be working on you. On a fair note, the spa is beautiful and Heather is always very professional and accomadating.

Natural Skin Creations is the best experience in a spa that I have ever found. The environment is very relaxing, the people are super friendly and the shop animals are eagerly awaiting your arrival by the door. My cousin told me about this place and even got me a gift certificate to get a facial. My boyfriend and I wend to get facials and it was and amazing experience. You leave with your face glowing it is so clean and refreshed. My boyfriend enjoyed it as much as I did! I also am a regular when it comes to my eyebrows and skin care products. Kat and Marbella are amazing and can do wonders with your eyebrows! I love to go there to get my brows done because it does not hurt one bit and it is soo relaxing! It is a great time to wind down after work! I never want to leave and always look forward to my next visit!

I found Natural Skin Creations through a friend in Yoga class, and I am SO glad I did!! The staff here is Great & so helpful. When I initially called, I had a million questions, and Heather was very helpful in being patient with me. I have been breaking out in the past 6 months, and could not figure out why. Heather asked a simple question, if I had washed my face when I was done working out (or for me doing Yoga), and to my surprise, I was not, & THAT was what was causing so much congestion! Of course, I booked a DermaGlow Facial that was suggested by Heather. When I arrived, I was pleased to see how 'zen' it was; a cute little house nestled in the heart of Montrose! Quiet & a perfect relaxing get-a-way! I only had to wait 5 minutes (which is WAY better than most Spas around town)! Marbella did my Facial, and it was FABULOUS! She is very thorough and she is perfect at easing your mind! She and the staff are GREAT and I will keep returning every 3 weeks. I have been back 3 times now, and within the first 2 Facials, my face cleaned right up, with the advice of Heather too. I wash my face before I leave Yoga, and in about 3 weeks, my face cleaned right up! These ladies are a God sent & you have got to try this Spa out! You will NOT be disappointed! Peace & Yogi Love!

I tried this place out based on Citysearch reviews, and I cannot understand the rave reviews. First, my appointment started about 20 minutes late because the steam machine wasn't working. After the facialist Marbella was ready, I was taken out back to this slightly cave-like room with some seriously weird music playing. The music was so strange that the lyrics actually distracted me for most of my treatment. The steam treatment was a disaster. It didn't quite reach my face and when it did it smelled like dirty feet. The facialist actually left the room for part of the steam treatment which I found very unprofessional. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, and I felt like I might fall off of it at any moment. The extractions were painful and the results were not that impressive -especially, in light of the fact that the facialist kept telling me how good she was! Whenever I tried to make a comment or ask a question about the facial, she dismissed me and told me that she knew what she was doing. Needless to say, I do not have any plans to return.

I did my online research and tried out Natural Skin Creations because of all the great reviews here. I have oily skin and my pores were craving a purge of all impurities. I got the Revive Facial and I'm sad to say I didn't like it. :( Miss Kat and her staff were very sweet, but after the facial my face felt very tight, raw and remained red for several days. Interestingly, she used two Q Tips for the extractions, while this may be more sanitary it also HURT like cuh-razy and wasn't thorough--I still had some visible congestion. The extractions left dark, scar-like spots for several weeks and I broke out even more after that experience.

From the initial phone conversation to set the appointment I was incredibly impressed. I had called several spas around town only to be swiftly and rudely dismissed with "we're booked". Though this spa was booked as well for the day I wanted, the receptionist, Heather thoughtfully asked if something else would work for me. Her very friendly and professional nature convinced me in an instant to look at my schedule again. She also took the time to listen to my particular reasons for seeking a facial treatment and made a helpful recommendation to get me through the next few days until my appointment.
Today, I was enthusiastically greeted by the owner Kat, and Marbella, who did my facial. I got the Renewal and was amazed with the level of care that Marbella took in treating my skin. Her personality is fun and professional, always willing to answer any questions and offer suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment. She is also very meticulous and takes great pride in doing the facial to perfection! It's wonderful to meet people who love what they do, as it shows in the level of service provided, and I believe that these ladies truly enjoy what they do.
When my facial was finished, both Kat and Marbella took extra time to share some very helpful tips with me to maximize the results. I look forward to seeing my skin clear and shine with renewed health over the next few days. And I look forward to my next visit at Natural Skin Creations! I walked away feeling pampered, cared for and appreciated. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend them!

I started going there over the past several months and have had a couple of different treatments all from Maribella. It's like your favorite bar because everyone knows your name and the "drinks" aka treatments are just what you need. The quality of the service is just as good as any of the high-priced pretentious salons around town, but it is way more relaxed especially since you don't feel like you're being judged when you walk in. It's also casual but very clean. Marbella listens to what your concerns are and what you need, and then responds accordingly. She is also very professional but fun at the same time. She makes sure she does a good job and doesn't hurry through so she can squeeze another client in. Overall, I have had many different spa expereiences around the city of Houston, but this place is definitely my favorite.

After relocating to Houston I was stress and wanted to treat myself to something. Not having a facial in a while I thought why not - the weather in Houston can be so damaging to your skin. I began searching for a good place to get a facial in Houston and happened upon Natural Skin Creations (NSC). It was in my neighborhood and I was very impressed by the website (The real thing does not disappoint!!). Based upon some great reviews on CitySearch, I went out on a limb and made an appointment. I'm very particular about my skin. I have sensitive / dry skin. I got an aromatheraphy facial from Marbella and felt instantly renewed and refreshed. Marbella was very patient with me and my skin and I walked out of the spa with an illuminous glow. She removed all my dead skin without exerting wear and tear on my face. The cost of the aromatheraphy facial was quite affordable for the number of services provided. Marbella is also great with eyebrow and bikini waxing!!!! The prices for these services are also quite affordable compared to many spas or nail salons that offer these services. Before I moved to Houston, I swore by facials and other services at International Chain spa but I'm all about Marbella and Natural Skin Creations.
