Langham Creek is a huge school with 3500+ students. They offer a huge range of classes - the basic college-prep courses, AP and honors courses, programs in cosmotology and auto repair etc. They also have a huge range of clubs and extracurricular activities. While there are many amazing teachers, like any high school, the school has its share of not-so-great teachers
PROS: Variety; options; some amazing teachers
CONS: Huge

Although Langham Creek High School had a somewhat new campus, it was not ideal. It is hard to find and get to the gym. The concession stand was not that good. There were a lot kids just hanging around the building after school hours and not attending the games in the gym.

I went here until my Senior year and even though its a good school many people hate it
and I ended up finishing early just to get out of here and get to college. They have lots
of sports teams, clubs, and activities but there are many people that end up getting left
out since the school is so huge and sometimes feels very lonely and impersonal.
It's hard to explain but it just doesn't have a real high school vibe, felt more like a juvi
or an office building. Some teachers are great and others are only allowed to keep
teaching because they have seniority. Often the best teachers are teaching the gifted
classes where no student even needs help. The worst teachers are stuck teaching the
lower level classes where students just fail and no one cares. I knew people that failed
with grades as low as TEN and the teacher would never care and try to teach them..
So if your child needs extra academic or social help then they shouldn't go here,
but if your child is an a-plus student and a cheerleader then they will be fine here.
Although it has very high test scores and always has alot of very amazing talented kids, there are
also many kids slip through the cracks because the attention is on the gifted classes and students.
