Olde Victoria Restaurant

It was Saturday night. My husband and I were looking forward to having a lovely dinner with our families and few close friends at the Olde Victoria Restaurant. We booked the private room, for 20 people, a month before. We went there twice and we confirmed it once, a couple of days before the event.

My husband went there earlier to take the decorations. I get a call from him: "You are not gonna believe this. They gave the room to someone else!"

They offered us the big dining room instead, holding 1500 people, for the same price! They sure offered us a steal! We didn't want 1500 seats room, for 20 people. We wanted the room we BOOKED. Our guest waited in the lobby for 20 minutes, not sure what was going to happen.

We decided to stay. The place looks truly wonderful, very classy. But the waiter cared so much, that few guests had to go and fetch their own drinks. The food was very good, but again the waiter forgot few guests. Is it normal to have only one waiter for 20 people?!

In the end, we did have a great evening! It worked out fine.

The next day, we checked our internet bank account and they charged us 160 dollars more than my husband signed for, on the receipts.

In short, I only recommend Olde Victoria only to callous people, who don't care being treated HORRIBLY, while they are getting their nice meal, in a classy atmosphere.

P.S. Don't order the Cheese Cake, it comes frozen. Unless you want an ice cream. But that might come melted.
