Zadok Jewelers

I've been shopping at Zadok's for more than twenty years now. My wife and I love stopping into visit, as we are never pressured to buy anything and my wife loves looking at the beautiful inventory. The staff is always great and it's so refreshing to be able to see the owners of a local, family owned business working hard and constantly checking on their customers. This is a stark contrast to most of the other retailers in the galleria area - chains where the service is very impersonal. I enjoy seeing the Zadoks, being referred to by name and always getting a fair deal.

I was refered to Zadoks by a friend of mine. I was looking to buy a new watch for myself. The young lady who helped me was very kind (she offered to bring me water and coffee,) and very knowlegable about watches. She really helped me narrow down my choices, and decide for myself what was best for me. I bought a very nice ladies watch, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I will always shop at Zadok. Their selection in jewelry and watches is fantastic. This is a true luxury store.

In addition to the absurd amount of times different reps would pick up the line and ask who I was holding for and if they could help me while I was on hold for another rep, my finances diamond ring was accidentally shipped off to the maker to be resized and it took almost 10 days to get it back... they were supposed to do it in house in 2 days. They are very disorganized... it really made me nervous about leaving the ring with them.

the other good reviews are no doubt fake- or created by the owners- DO NOT BUY JEWELRY from this place- you deserve to be treated with respect- there was a tall sales assistant with blond-reddish hair who insulted me after I agreed to purchase a necklace- I told her she could keep it- they should fire their staff and get friendly respectful staff- or just close their business!

I would like to recommend this jeweler to anyone needing fine jewelry, the staff was very attentive, the selection incredible, and the prices while not the least expensive in town are a great value for what your buying. I was looking for just the right gift for my girl friend, and wound up with a lovely Cartier watch, she absolutely loves it! the staff was very engaging, and helpful, the sales people are quite knowledgable, and my experience was first class from start to finish, it may have been my first purchase, with Zadok, but you can bet it won't be my last.

I ususlly don't write these things, but felt compelled to do so, especially after reading a coulple accusing every other review, except for hers to be fake, what nonsense Sally Whitmore, at least you appear to have used your own name, whether your review is positive or negative, at lest don't hide behind a fake name! I have been shopping at this store for years, are there less expensive places to go? Sure, there are, but if you want quality, consistency, and GREAT customer service, give them a try, I have never had any issues with dealing with the Zadok's. If somethings wrong, they address it, and make it right. For all of you non believers, go see for yourself, they do get busy, but funny how the good places do, but for my money, I will not shope elsewhere, these folks have it dialed in!

This is the first time I have posted a message on Citysearch. I went into Zadok to look at engagement rings and walked out not only disappointed but offended by the sales staff inside. From the moment I walked in, I knew it would be a bad experience. Everyone we came in contact with seem irritated to take the time to let us browse the rings. Every question I asked was answered by the saleswoman in an irritated tone and she acted like my questions were self-explanatory. This is a learning process for me and my boyfriend and, like many people in our same situation, want to make the best decision; asking questions is what we do a lot of as we look at our options. I am used to working with much classier jewelers and expect good customer service; I was hesitant to go to Zadok because I was unfamiliar with the store. Clearly, we shoudn't have wasted our time. Their prices aren't that competitive and, quite frankly, I would rather pay more and be treated as a valued customer than work with the team at Zadok. So sad for a company that prides itself on being family-owned and attentive to its customers. It would be hard to consider revisiting the store after this very disappointing experience during a very exciting time in our lives.

My boyfriend went to Zadock's to pick out a Valentine's gift. He ordered a ring for me that was promised to arrive by 2/6 but never did come in. So since he was stressed for time, one of the owners offered him to pick another ring for the same price. He chose a much nicer ring that he wanted in the first place but it was a little out of his budget. So after our dinner, he said they were still open so we swung by and everyone greeted us including the owners Dror and Helen! I had to have the ring resized and it took less than 24 hours. Zadok's provided fast service and they even said I could come by anytime for a free cleaning!
They even had this nice appraisal on a certificate for insurance purposes so in case I lose it or it's stolen.
I can't wait to come back and buy more!

Went in to buy jewelry for my wife. Salesman's pitch was high pressure and he kept saying that he wanted to be my "friend" - sorry that just does not really fly in this day and age. He also kept saying that he would do anything to make me "happy". After looking at a few things, I picked out a necklace. I later found the exact same necklace (since it was a designer necklace) on the designer's website for about 1/3 less!! Anyways, my wife did not like the necklace, so within 5 days, we went to return it. She looked around the store, but didn't see anything that she liked and was reasonably price, so we asked for a refund. This is where the same salesman stopped being my "friend". He insisted that it was store policy not to issue refunds. We argued back and forth and my wife was shocked that a store this large would not issue a refund. After some loud words, they finally agreed to issue us a refund. Needless to say - we will not shop here again!!!

Unlike most who were completely ignored, we only had to wait 20 minutes before finally being seen by a blond who seemed to have her head somewhere else.
When we finally got the item that we ordered, there was a problem with it. Despite leaving a message asking for her to call back and several tries ourselves, we are still waiting. Maybe they will take notice when we contact our credit card company.
Next time, I'll try ebay!

I walked in on a Saturday morning. The store was not busy, only a couple of customers. I spent ten minutes browsing the engagement ring section. Several times, I was totally ignored by employees walking by. No one ever asked me if I needed help. I walked out of there totally disgusted with the lack of customer service. I may as well have been invisible for all the attention they paid me. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

This store has the most exciting collection of watches and jewelry in Houston. I initially visited the store several years ago to purchase a necklace for my wife. The variety and range of merchandise that was available was astounding. Mr. Zadok himself patiently helped me narrow down my choices and was finally able to select a beautiful piece that really turned out perfect. Since then, we've returned many times and over the years purchased gifts for others and for ourselves....always with the same good, knowledgeable, and friendly service from Zadok family members. I really highly recommend Zadok Jewelers

I have never seen so many beautiful things in one place. We had such a good time, shopping, learning and trying things on. The serice was outstanding. Very attentive and patient. They even have a play area where the kids can watch T.V. or play with some toys. I was so very please. Prices are high, but the peices are amazing!

I went to view an engagement rings. I spent 25 min looking with no one bothering to ask if I needed any help. Several sales people walked past me on numerous occasions, and turned away when I looked in their direction. They were however, more than happy to help other couples that came in after I did. The service at this store is far below sub-standard. They have a nice selection of items but in a luxury industry customer service needs to be on par with the items being sold. This is clearly not the case at Zadocks!
