Eric (Manager) and his team of mechanics has always done everything he can to accommodate us including willing to send one of his people to pick up my wife and take her back to the Gararge so she could pick up her car. If he keeps this up, he will be my mechanic for a long time.
Taken my car in twice, both times very impressed. They don't push unnecessary work on you, are very honest about their capabilities. Second time they though my AC needed a recharge, but it turns out that wasn't the case. Took it in again, they quickly found the culprit, and didn't charge me for the quick repair. 5 stars.

I took my car into The City Garage on Hulen because the check engine light was on making it unworthy of passing state inspection. They supposedly did a computer diagnostic indicating the need for repairs totaling $1,300.00. I was assured that the repairs were necessary and that there was no way to do the job for any less money. I then took my vehicle to another garage which also did a computer diagnostic which didn't indicate the need for most of the repairs City Garage had insisted needed to be done. To make a long story short, the other garage simmply cleaned the fuel injectors and fixed the problem for only $162.00

We recently took our car in to City Garage for its 60,000 mile tune-up. The mechanics there were incredibly friendly and seemed very knowledgable, and offered to do a complete inpsection for free to determine what maintenance was needed. Their inspection was thorough, and they kindly answered all questions we had, but their price quote was quite a bit (a few hundred dollars) higher than another mechanic gave us. While we know City Garage would have done a great job with our car, and we completely trusted their ability, we felt their prices were a bit steeper than necessary.
