Allison's AutoCare

Brought in 2 4wd Chevy Suburbans since they were highly rated. Both had "service 4wd light" on. One had airbag light on. Not even including an oil change, it was about $530 each car to change the 4wd transfer case oil, both differentials, and flush the transmission. They could not determine the problem w/ the 4wd light on the 2004 and in fact says they could not get it to come on... then wife drives it home & it is on. On every day since as a matter of fact. The 2000 they reported to have found the problem; $171 dash switch + $95 diagnosis; plus the airbag module $525 + $95 diagnosis. If you want to spend $95/hr. x book rate hours you may quickly spend more than your car is worth. Said easily $2000 to replace a seat that wobbled. Also charged $47.50 + $10 parts (tape or heat shrink tube?) to fix a chaffed wire that was still working. That is expensive to me. I was looking forward to having a place I could go to & not worry but this is not it for me; taken to the cleaners!

I have used Allison's Auto Care for 6 years and have never found a better shop. They are efficient, quick and friendly. I will never use anyone else! Their prices are very affordable and their mechanics compare favorably with anyone in the area. I recommend them to all my friends. I will never use any other car repair.

We have used Allison's Car Care several times. They always seem to figure out what the problem is and how to repair it, even the difficult ones. They give you a quote first. Pricing is moderate. We have been satisfied with their work and service when we used them.

My husband and I have been using Allisons for several years now. It started when they offered door to door discounts on oil changes, checks, etc. and we have been several times for beside regular maintenance. The great thing is they are very honest and don't take advantage of me being a lady and not knowing anything about cars. I went in once because me car was making noises, they took several trips in my car with me, checked my car for all kinds of things, and all it was was a nail in my tire. They removed the nail, fixed my tire and didn't charge me anything. All they asked was that I come back when I need something done. That is great service and we will use them whenever something needs to be done and warrenties don't cover at the dealership. Honest, dependable, great employees, family owned business.
