I chose the Javanese body treatment. The service not even list on their website, a facial, a hot stone massage, and a hot stone pedicure/ manicure. All the treatments were right after each each other and I didn't have to wait in between. Everyone was so nice ,friendly and professional, I love the organic products that they use. I went for my normal brow wax treatment on 6/20/06 and the guy who normally waxed my brows was not sitting at the front desk; come to find out the company was bought out and they bought in all new mgmt and employees. The atmosphere is very unprofessional and the woman who did my brow wax/shaping had no experience and she messed up my eye brows severely. I told them I was dissatisfied with my service and they offered no kind of compensation aware that this woman had no knowledgeble experience; she even had no idea how hot the wax should be to apply on my skin! Needless to say that overall I wouldn't recommend anyone vistor or local to go to this once nice upscale salon. I recommend going to either the galleria, westheimer or west alabama locations for day spas which I got the word are excellent. Now, I have to wait several weeks for my brows to grow out further so I can find someone who is a professional to reshape the way Brad used to do them. Posted 03/18/08 at 2:53pm Great location, great massage, friendly staff I went to the Sunset Body Works because I was getting these aches in my back and I thought I could use a massage. They are located just blocks from my work, so I thought I'd give them a try. I had a great massage, and I felt completely relaxed afterwards! I had no soreness the next day and all of my aches had gone away. Just a heads up - the spa is very small so don't expect a lounge are with a sauna or something like that. I visit Sunsetbodyworks weekly for the micro-current facials that have changed the look of my face dramatically! i've had 3 divinely relaxing current facials with Mai and can see such an improvement in my skin tone and decreased fine lines. I also recently had the best manicure and pedicure from Ann! She doesn't cut or clip out cuticles like other nail salons. She uses a gel and and "eraser" and gently removes cuticles and the caluses on my heels have vanished! I'm in love with Sunsetbodyworks! Ann knows how to take care of my ingrown toenails, and her reflexology is excellent. It was hard to stay awake when she gave the foot massage. Thank you for taking good care of my abused feet.
