Bingle Veterinary Clinic is Uncomfortable at time
by Tracy B.
A few weeks ago I brought my dog into the clinic and it was overall a wonderful experience, except for a woman who seemed to be the manager. All of the nurses and assistances were pleasant and just a joy to be around. They really made you feel at home while you are worried sick about your beloved pet. The only reason I would rate this facility a four star is because Caroline. I clearly heard her having inappropriate conversations about her "new body enhancements" and I have heard on occasion her yelling at her workers in the back while I was waiting at the front of the building. She also had very inappropriate attire for the workplace, as a teacher we are taught to dress conservatively at work and she dresses in unflattering, skimpy outfits.
Dr. Vaughan on the other hand was delightful and very helpful.

Bingle Vet Dr Vaughan is not very friendly.
by Kati N.
Last month, I took my cat to the Bingle Vet, and I was disappointed. The nurses and assistants were great and very sociable to me and to my cat. My cat wasn't thrilled by the number of dogs there, but that will happen at almost any vet.
The part that bothered me is when Dr. Vaughan examined my cat. She had some bleeding on her abdomen, so he simply grabbed her up and threw her on her back. Then he wrapped his hand around a mass with his fingers digging in and then flipped her back upright. He made no gestures to the cat other than to throw her around. Then he announced that she had a tumor which was probably going to be terminal. He was not personable at all and just made the blunt statement and said she would need surgery.
Dr. Vaughan did perform the surgery and appears to be technically adept as my cat is doing okay for now. My husband took her back to have her stitches removed and I had to take her back a third time as they missed removing one of them. Again, the nurses were very nice to me and my cat.
I will be looking for another vet however. I did not appreciate the rough treatment of my sick cat nor the abrupt nature of the doctor.

Great doctor, poor grooming service
by Shiyun L.
I have some mixed experience with Bingle Vet. I took my cat there for a general check up and a bath + claw trimming recently.
Good: The staff are very nice, the Doctor gave a great and detailed report for my cat's check up.
Bad: I was told to drop my cat off at 7am and pick her up at 2:30pm. When i got there she's still wet and when i got home i noticed all the loose furs still on her (which is the reason i wanted to give her a bath in the first place) and the claw was not trimmed at all. It almost seems they just get her wet right before I went to pick her up.
I would recommend this vet but not their grooming services.

Wonderful Vet and Staff
by Elizabeth E.
I've been going to Bingle Vet for several years now and could not be more pleased with the service I get and the staff. Over the years, they have treated eight different pets of mine plus countless strays that I've found. Dr Vaughn and Caroline are two of the nicest people you could ever meet and they have always had extremely gifted staff members.

Dr. Vaughan and Staff --THANK YOU!
by Susan L.
I just want to say thanks to you all for taking such great care of Korky while I was on vacation. Though, I think she was a little sad to leave you all when I retrieved her. I really thought she would be mad at me for leaving her for 6 days. Seems like she had a great time with you all. Dr. Vaughan - thank you for removing the moles off of her head. She looks great! I do appreciate all the care you have given her over the years. Your the best!

Awful New Vet
by Anonymous
We went last week and had a new vet (NOT Dr. Vaughan). She talked the whole time and never answered any of the questions we asked her. She also approached my scared dog right away instead of trying to let her sniff her hand or warm up to her in any way, which caused my dog to feel threatened and growl. Then, the doctor had the audacity to tell me that I needed to work on her aggressive behavior. Well, even I know that you have to at least let a dog sniff you and get to know you a little bit before trying to touch a dog (esp on the head). The last time I was there, I had no problems with my dog being aggressive, as the vet tech knew how to approach a scared dog, and had no problems with Dr. Vaughan.
I will never go again until the new vet goes back to school and takes a few classes on animal behavior. It's seems like it would be common sense to a vet, but I guess not. It is truly the worst experience I've ever had with a veterinarian.

boarding service complaint
by Caroline B.
We brought our dog to Bingle Vet to be boarded for two days this week. When we picked up the dog today, we found out that the dog was not given his raw hide bones or treats as these were returned to us in the original packages still unopened. We called Bingle Vet to complain and was told that he was given balls and toys and other treats by the staff during his stay and he was happy while he was there. I advised that he's never played with a ball or a squeeky toy in the five years that we've owned him. I do not feel like the staff understands their responsibilty in boarding a dog. We're very disappointed that the dog was not given the treats that we provided for him since we know the dog best. We were told that the treats that we provided were forgotten about. We only hope that the dog was fed the food that we provided for him or was this forgotten as well? I would not recommend Bingle Vet to board your dog.

I had to take my cat there when she had a hurt leg. They told me that she would have to have her leg amputated. At the time she was 8 yrs old, and I had her since she was a kitten. So I got it done and the doctor and the nurses there were great with her. I wished I lived closer to keep going there. I would recommend this place to anybody that has a pet.

The people here are obviously passionate about pets and it shows in their handling and care of your pet during exams. I have the utmost confidence in the staff at this facility. The only downside is that it can be tough to get an emergency appointment, so you may have to consider an alternative, such as a private veterinarian. Recommended!
PROS: good staff
CONS: no emergency appointment
