I was SO excited to find such sweet people to take care or my pet Hedgehog. They are guinuely concerned and strive to make her little life a long and happy one. Personal phone calls to check up on her, emails to update, understanding of time and distance constraints, above and beyond care for my pet. Thank you so much for being such a fantastic group! I appreciate it!

It's a shame that Dr. Bob has such horrible receptionists up front in the afternoon. I have been using Dr. Bob for years and am considering looking for a new vet because of the rude and inconsiderate girls up front. There is one receptionist that I can sometimes catch in the mornings who is very friendly and helpful, but as for the other two they are running people off.

I have been taking all of my pets to this clinic for years, last month when I dropped one of my dogs off for surgery the people in the morning were wonderful and very friendly, but when I picked her up in the afternoon it was a different situation. The two girls at the front desk were very rude not only to me but to eachother, it made me feel unwelcome.

I took my dog in on 4/8/2011 for the first time and everything was perfect. I must say the best part of my experience was the receptionist that helped me when I was there. She was excellent, and very friendly, answered every question I asked. I will continue to use this vet from now on.

I do believe that this is a "World Class Vet Clinic". The staff and doctors treat us like family. They take time to explain any questions I might have. The hours offered are flexible and Saturdays are available. I am soooo happy with my experience at Bingle Vet that I travel from Baton Rouge, LA for my dog's treatment.

You can be sure your pets are in good hands at Bingle Vet. Took my Boxer in for allergies recently. It's not in my neighborhood , but I went on a friend referral and I'm so glad I did -I've been several other places and they just keep giving me meds and special food which alleviates the symptoms but never really gets to the source of the problem. Dr. Vaughn worked with me to find the true allergen; which turned out to be wheat! and now our problems are over. Their facility is great and the whole staff has bent over backwards for us. I never take the time to do write-ups, but they are a great find!

We have used Dr Vaughan for years and love him and his staff. Recently we were not pleased with Frances one of the girls up front, she was very rude and even answered her personal cell phone in the middle of speaking to my wife and I. As for Dr Vaughan, he is the best and we will continue to use him.

I have been going to Bingle Vet for years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They saved my puppy from parvo virus which I learned was a deadly disease. I can't thank them enough. They also have a boarding facilty which is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

Wow - very impressed with the service. The people up front were very friendly and I really like Dr. Vaughn. I have been going to this clinic for over a year and it's nice to see the same people working there. I certainly recommend this vet to my friends.

Once you get to the back they are great. All of the front people suck. The Vet was great but getting there was hard. They saw us on short notice and I appreciate that but when you call ,the woman that fields your call is soooooo rude and then pretends to get someone else???? I probably will find someone else. It's too bad... been going there for some time, several animals... but I won't be treated like this by the front end staff.

Wow I'm impressed with the last reviewer... I laugh because this ex-employee's disgruntled attempts at remaining anonymous are betrayed by the lack of grammatical attention which on a reverse roll my grammatical attention does the same for me... Anyhow I just thought I'd give my input as well in saying... All this time spent revolting your loss of employment could be better used in achieving a new place of employment... Alternatively your continued persistence in battering the reputation of this business will probably make things worse from a legal stand point... Just sayin'

the mix of old and new doctors is the perfect combo..... when they put their knowlege together they can do anything... Dr Tesh , Dr V And Dr M are the best. This clinics best intrerest is their patients health.. although they cant always please every fractious or demanding client...the animals are always happy. Bingle vet and the manager caroline truly care about the health of the pets and the education of owners. Any one who feels differently has not truly seen what goes on behind the receptionist desk. Caroline is always looking for ways to improve the buisness and service. For anyone who wrote a bad reveiw because of a bad experience... I urge you to go back give this clinic the praise it deserves. Bingle vet is the best facility i have every been to. The employees honestly care about your pets....and are just as sad as you are when things dont work out for the best. The veterinarians do everything in their power to keep pets happy and healthy. Every single person that works at bingle vet has a passion for animals. If you wrote a bad review about the doctors YOU are the one who needs to go to school... these are 3 of the smartest most caring people you will ever meet and you need to stop trying to correct the VET....For all you people who talk bad about this clinic...think about waht happend it was most likley your sour attitude that made you think that way..THIS CLINIC IS GREAT.....TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO BINGLE VET

Thank you Stephen for writing a review about Bingle Vet. We are happy to hear that you are happy with our staff. We certainly work hard on providing excellent customer care. Thank you for allowing us to take care of your pets' healthcare needs.

I took my daughters cat in on Saturday and the building wasn't the best,(to me it is about my pet) but they are building a new clinic in the back so that isn't that big of an issue to me. I had a great experience with the doctor and staff and plan to switch vets for my own pets.

Business Response:

We are in the new building now and the parking lot has over 20 parking spaces. We do want to thank all of our customers for sticking with us while we built the new facility behind the old clinic. I know parking was a big issue and the old clinic was just falling apart. Thank you.

I was recommended to Bingle Vet by a co-worker. I can honestly say that the staff there is the most caring I've ever encountered. My dog has never seemed scared or uncomfortable at this vet. When you go into the examining room, Dr. Vaughan and the tech start off by getting down on the floor with your pet, I was amazed with this. Every other vet that I have been to immediately put your animal on a cold metal table and doesn't really interact with them. They also always make a next day follow up call to ask how your pet is doing. I love, love, love this vet!

We love Dr Vaughan and the staff. All of our "kids" have gone to bingle vet. When our beloved Walter died they were the most caring people. They were part of the family and they loved him like their own. They were compassionate and we will never forget how supportive they were. Jessica and Ginger love Dr Vaughan. I highly recommend Bingle Veterinary Clinic and Dr Vaughan.

I am new to the area and took my dog to Bingle Vet for the first time a few weeks ago, the front desk staff was very friendly. Dr. Vaughan was great with my dog and was willing to spend the extra time answering all my questions. I even had to call the office several times with other questions and once again the receptionists were very friendly and willing to help. I will continue to use Bingle Vet for all my pets needs in the future. They are great.

Last month, I took my cat to the Bingle Vet, and I was disappointed. The nurses and assistants were great and very sociable to me and to my cat. My cat wasn't thrilled by the number of dogs there, but that will happen at almost any vet.

The part that bothered me is when Dr. Vaughan examined my cat. She had some bleeding on her abdomen, so he simply grabbed her up and threw her on her back. Then he wrapped his hand around a mass with his fingers digging in and then flipped her back upright. He made no gestures to the cat other than to throw her around. Then he announced that she had a tumor which was probably going to be terminal. He was not personable at all and just made the blunt statement and said she would need surgery.

Dr. Vaughan did perform the surgery and appears to be technically adept as my cat is doing okay for now. My husband took her back to have her stitches removed and I had to take her back a third time as they missed removing one of them. Again, the nurses were very nice to me and my cat.

I will be looking for another vet however. I did not appreciate the rough treatment of my sick cat nor the abrupt nature of the doctor.

I have some mixed experience with Bingle Vet. I took my cat there for a general check up and a bath + claw trimming recently.

Good: The staff are very nice, the Doctor gave a great and detailed report for my cat's check up.

Bad: I was told to drop my cat off at 7am and pick her up at 2:30pm. When i got there she's still wet and when i got home i noticed all the loose furs still on her (which is the reason i wanted to give her a bath in the first place) and the claw was not trimmed at all. It almost seems they just get her wet right before I went to pick her up.

I would recommend this vet but not their grooming services.

I've been going to Bingle Vet for several years now and could not be more pleased with the service I get and the staff. Over the years, they have treated eight different pets of mine plus countless strays that I've found. Dr Vaughn and Caroline are two of the nicest people you could ever meet and they have always had extremely gifted staff members.

I just want to say thanks to you all for taking such great care of Korky while I was on vacation. Though, I think she was a little sad to leave you all when I retrieved her. I really thought she would be mad at me for leaving her for 6 days. Seems like she had a great time with you all. Dr. Vaughan - thank you for removing the moles off of her head. She looks great! I do appreciate all the care you have given her over the years. Your the best!

We went last week and had a new vet (NOT Dr. Vaughan). She talked the whole time and never answered any of the questions we asked her. She also approached my scared dog right away instead of trying to let her sniff her hand or warm up to her in any way, which caused my dog to feel threatened and growl. Then, the doctor had the audacity to tell me that I needed to work on her aggressive behavior. Well, even I know that you have to at least let a dog sniff you and get to know you a little bit before trying to touch a dog (esp on the head). The last time I was there, I had no problems with my dog being aggressive, as the vet tech knew how to approach a scared dog, and had no problems with Dr. Vaughan.

I will never go again until the new vet goes back to school and takes a few classes on animal behavior. It's seems like it would be common sense to a vet, but I guess not. It is truly the worst experience I've ever had with a veterinarian.

We brought our dog to Bingle Vet to be boarded for two days this week. When we picked up the dog today, we found out that the dog was not given his raw hide bones or treats as these were returned to us in the original packages still unopened. We called Bingle Vet to complain and was told that he was given balls and toys and other treats by the staff during his stay and he was happy while he was there. I advised that he's never played with a ball or a squeeky toy in the five years that we've owned him. I do not feel like the staff understands their responsibilty in boarding a dog. We're very disappointed that the dog was not given the treats that we provided for him since we know the dog best. We were told that the treats that we provided were forgotten about. We only hope that the dog was fed the food that we provided for him or was this forgotten as well? I would not recommend Bingle Vet to board your dog.

I had to take my cat there when she had a hurt leg. They told me that she would have to have her leg amputated. At the time she was 8 yrs old, and I had her since she was a kitten. So I got it done and the doctor and the nurses there were great with her. I wished I lived closer to keep going there. I would recommend this place to anybody that has a pet.

The people here are obviously passionate about pets and it shows in their handling and care of your pet during exams. I have the utmost confidence in the staff at this facility. The only downside is that it can be tough to get an emergency appointment, so you may have to consider an alternative, such as a private veterinarian. Recommended!

PROS: good staff
CONS: no emergency appointment

Business Response:

Thank you for your input. We are always looking for ways to improve our service. Although, we are by appointment only, we are never too busy to see an emergency during doctor hours. Depending on the emergency situation, we will either stablize the patient and treat or need to refer the patient to an emergency facility for 24 hour observation.

Thank you to the wonderful Team at Bingle Vet. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to the pets at Bingle Vet! Thank you for taking the time to realize that Mimosa she was not herself while boarding there and taking the time to call me. After completing bloodwork, it was determined that Mimosa has a Thyroid problem. So happy that when I returned, she was her happy self again. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! What would I do without y'all!!!!

I came here to get my new puppy a check up. They gave him his first shots and a deworming and gave him a clean bill of health. 2 days later, he had worms in his stool so I brought him back and they gave me some different worm medication. The next day, he started to throw up and have diarrhea, so I brought him back again and they said it was probably just the medication. Another two days later, his sickness got worse and we took him back a third time and they tested him for parvo, which came back positive. I asked whether he could have gotten it from their facilities because he hasn't gone out anywhere other than the vet office, and they said most likely. I was in shock, but they didn't seem to care. I paid $300 for some medication and other supportive care supplies. 4 hours later, my puppy died. Every time I brought my puppy here, he got worse. A bit counterproductive for a place that's suppose to get your dog healthy. I won't be using this place in the future.

I do not get the negative comments about one receptionist, Francis, at the Bingle Vetinary clinic. She was the first person that initially took care of me on my first visit, and the same person at my second visit. She was courteous and friendly to me, and very gentile with my dog Isabella. The doctors and nurses did a great job and I couldn?t be more satisfied with the care Isabella received.\n

My wife and I have taken all 3 of our pets to this clinic, and have actually seen all 3 Doctors and think the Doctors are great. However, there is one receptionist by the name of Francis who is very short and rude with not only us, but others that are in the office at the same time. It has happened on more than occasion and we are starting to think it may be time to look for a new vet. Usually I would not write a review, but it even seems that when calling the office she is very rude to either my wife or myself. All of the other receptionists are great!

We have brought our dogs to Bingle Vet for the past few months and have loved it. HOWEVER we have been very displeased with one receptionist named Francis.\n\nShe seems to be frustrated often and has snapped at us a few times. I love Maria (another receptionist) but dread walking in or calling when Francis is there.\n\nThe vets there and the facility are topnotch, but try to avoid that one receptionist or you might be tempted to search for a vet elsewhere.

We've taken all of our animals to Bingle Vet for the past 10 years or so. Our cat and dog love Dr. Vaughan - he can do things to them that they would bite ME for doing. He's great with them, and Dr Tesch was awesome when we had to put down one of our dogs. Dr. vaughan has done ACL surgery on one of our dogs about 9 years ago and today we're taking her in for her 15 yr. check up. We haven't had the opportunity to board there yet, but with the beautiful facilities and pet loving people, I'm pretty sure they're not going to want to come home.

I rescued a ""special"" dog who needs lots of extra attention and care and I always feel comfortable boarding him with Bingle Vet. Dr. Vaughn is a dream with him- You can just see how much he cares in the way he works; very calming - and I know Bogey gets plenty of lovin and exercise while he's there. Wouldn't take him anywhere else!

\r\nI have two senior dogs so good veterinary care is very important. I appreciate that they do not try to pressure or guilt me into things that my dogs probably does not really need. Dr Vaughn always compassionately explains anything he recommends and I always feel like I have a choice. I switched to Bingle Vet three years ago and compared to my former vet it doesnt seem like I get talked into as many extrasand I always leave feeling that my dogs got good care and I paid a fair price. I feel comfortable boarding them there and they are good about accommodating all the special needs that my old dogs have. \r\n

I just got a rescue dog and took her to Bingle Veterinary Clinic by recommendation from the rescue group. I loved how caring and concerned the vet & the staff seemed to be. They treat your pets like their own.

Bingle vet used to be a very caring place to take your pets. They even called you back when they said they would. Lord, it was so different back then. Geez, those were the days............ \r\n\r\nIn recent years, however, it seems to be all about the money your pet can generate for the business, and not about caring for your pet at all. If you are unable to generate enough revenue through vet visits, purchases, etc, expect to be treated horribly by the office manager who has been nothing but rude and hateful from the very first time I talked to her. Although I was a long time, loyal client, with 8+ pets, she went so far as to tell me ""Bingle Vet did not need my business."" I was blown away. Most of us would have been, at the very least, reprimanded for treating a client so rudely. It's unfortunately that she cannot seem to comprehend that paying clientele is paying clientele, regardless how big or small the chunk of change.\r\n\r\nThere were numerous times when the receptionist would tell me she would have to call me and never did. This was especially frustrating when I was worried about one of your beloved pets and was anxiously awaiting news - very frustrating! I understand that people get busy, but time after time after time. Sorry, that is just unnacceptable.\r\n\r\nAs to Dr. Vaughn, I have trusted him with many of my animal children over the years for a reason. It's just unfortunate that he is surrounded by some incompetent people.

I just love this clinic. The building is absolutely beautiful. But most important the staff is very knowledgable and professional. My little Misty just loves Dr. Tesh. They provide great service and really care about pets. I recommend this place.

I trusted Bingle Vet's boarding facility to care for my two dogs for approximately a one week stay. I had never used their boarding services before, but I thought Dr. Vaughn was competent and would take good care of my babies. When I picked up my dogs, both of them had contracted staph infections from their boarding facility. My Chihuahuas infection was so severe that he began losing large patches of hair all over his body and his eyelid became swollen like a pink marble. The cleanliness of their facility is substandard and a breeding ground for infection. My dogs have never had a reaction like this before. It took several hundreds of dollars of office visits, treatments, medications, and over a month of healing time to correct the damage they caused. FYI, if I would have visually inspected the boarding space prior to this visit, I would have NEVER left my pups there. I wish I had made a better informed decision to avoid my babies discomfort, monetary loss, and stress.

I rushed him to Bingle Vet one afternoon right after lunch, usually regular business hours. Apparently, that was a time the personnel have their weekly meeting. Y'know, Bingle Vet actually charged me an ""emergency fee"" to see my dog, during what would normally be ""business hours""! I didn't like it, but I was worried about my dog so I paid it. They ran all kinds of tests and I took my dog home, anxiously awaiting the test results, worrying all the while, naturally. I called everyday for a week and no one would give me the test results to let me know if my dog was OK or not. They told me that only the doctor could give me the test results. It was painfully frustrating. I was so concerned about the well-being of my little dog. Unfortunately, I did not know that Dr. Vaughn experienced a similar situation with his wife around that same time. After getting the run-around for a week, I was fit to be tied. Since the staff knew what was going on behind the scenes with Dr. Vaughn, why in the world wouldn't they just give me the test results for my little dog? C'mon people, it's not rocket science!\r\n\r\nThere have been numerous times that the receptionist would tell me she would have to call me and never did - very frustrating. I understand that people get busy, but time after time after time. Sorry, that is just unnacceptable.\r\n\r\nAlthough there seems to be a constant turn-over of personnel, it is unfortunate that the incompetance continues.\r\n\r\nI really do think Dr. Vaughn is a fantastic vet. I wish he'd consider getting another office manager. Afterall, attitude seems to run downhill. The current office manager would probably be better at ""behind the scenes"" activities. If this happened, I think it would resolve many of the problems I described above.

Pros: Dr. Vaughn is very knowledgeable and a nice guy

Cons: Rude and imcompetent staff that does not follow up

I have multiple animals that used to all go to Bingle Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Vaughn is great. I got fed up with the horrible receptionist. Early in the year I never received a phone call back about an issue I had with my pet. Later in the year around March or April I called to setup an appointment and was told they would call me back and never received a call. The last appointment I tried to setup, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me she was taking her lunch and would call me back in an hour. She of course never called me back. They lost my pets and my $. I have a new vet and will never return. I only posted this review so the vets may see this and know that they are losing out on business. I can't be the only one who has had such a horrible experience with the receptionist.

"Bingle Vet, where you are part of our family!"

Bingle Vet is a family owned and operated veterinary clinic located just West of downtown Houston, Texas. Bingle Vet has been providing veterinary care and pet boarding for over 30 years. While the majority of our clients reside in the Spring Branch/Memorial Villages Area, some clients travel many miles to bring their pets to Bingle Vet. That tells a lot about the patient care and customer service provided by our veterinarians and professional support team.

We are a small-animal practice, so the majority of our patients are dogs, cats, rabbits and small pocket pets.
