I'm writing in response to Kathy S. concerning the daycares. Yes, we do go however, not ALL facitlities 'strap life vests on and turn them loose' and the ones that do are out of compliance. We watch ours, have them in VERY smal groups and have a great time. I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience but please do not group ALL centers with the others and I agree with you, 99% of the others do not watch them but we do, I can assure you.

My family loves splash station in cleburne. Every time we go we enjoy it. We try to get there early before it gets too busy...but come on people IT'S SUMMER! There isn't a lot going on in Johnson County for Summer fun, so deal! The only thing I wish they would change is the amount of space they have for the diving board vs the actual deeper pool. I realize they are trying to be safe, but there is a ridiculous amount of room left that swimmers could utilize. That is the ONLY thing I wish they would change, otherwise our family has great fun and it is so very affordable. If you other people don't like people, then go to a private pool somewhere.

I don't know why you peeps are complaining. No Splash Station is not Hurricane Harbor that's the only reason I gave it four stars not five. But me and my friends can all go to Splash Station for less than it costs one of us to go to Hurricane Harbor! I think its great cuz they have things for little kids and also for teens and adults. I'm a teen and me and my friends all think its cool. Its one of the best places in Cleburne and we're going there this summer a lot!

As a resident of Cleburne, I was so excited about the prospect of having a water park. The first year Splash Station was open was fairly enjoyable, however, since that first year it has been invaded every day by every child care facility and day camp in a 50 mile (or more) radius. It is over crowded every day. Not to mention that the last several times I took my two kids there they have had to have an "emergency" evacuation of the pool for at least 30 minutes because some kid "pooped" in there! This has not only happened at least 4 times with me personally, but many other times when friends of mine have gone there. The day cares just strap life vests on these kids and turn them loose so when they need to go to the bathroom there is often noone to inform so they just go in the pool! BEWARE!

My family has been going to Splash Station for the last 3 years, for regular swimming, swim lessons, and swim team. It is an awesome place with fun slides, great teachers/coaches, a neat play area for the younger ones who aren't tall enough for the slides, and lots of specialized activity days (movie night, 4th of July fun, Memorial Day fun, fitness swim, homeschool swim, recreational team swim (you don't have to be a great swimmer to get an encouraging coach - even if you never win the contests, doing your best is what matters). It's a neat place to swim!

I have alot of fun there and the slides are great, its called a ''water park" most people expect slides. my kids love the slides and so do I! the slides make it fun and enjoyable for all ages. I also like it because there's something for everyone, big slides and pools for the big kids, small slides and jungle jim for the small kids, and small pool and things for the babies! everytime we go we get great service and have loads of fun. the food is a bit high, but thats no worse than any other place. its great place, and my whole family has season passes, its close, fun, and cheap, what could be better?!

They need to take out the stupid water slide and use that space to make the deep pool bigger. It is way too small, and half of it is sectioned off for people using the diving board.
There are slides you can take your kids to play on a few yards away for free.

I was skeptical when I heard we were getting a water park. I am pleasantly suprised at how great it has been. People are complainig about capri suns? Have you been to chuck e cheese? Hurrican Harbor. Pizza at Splash Station is like 2.50 hurricane harbor 1 slice is 7.50. I have heard from my friends that the parties are good. i have been to a couple and it was fun. We had our tables reserved and an assistant to help us!!

my daughters party was form 12-2 they would let me have 10 minutes to set up before all the guests arrived.. they wouldn't give half the non swimmers their money back cause their bracelet didn't have something written on it.. even though they had a bracelet with there paper..my daughter's turned 2 so there was a lot of toddlers there.. and the kiddie part of the park was closed down the 1st hour and we only had 2 so all the kids couldn't play in the kid part... and i cannot believe they wont let you bring drinks for a b-day party just for one box of Capri suns that are like 1.25 @ walmart weer 7.50 @ the splash station

This is the third water park my family has been to this summer. It was by far the smallest, but there was plenty there to do for us. $5 well spent. Three year old was worn out from sliding. The water spouts entertained even the adults.

Thumbs up from Maypearl.

PROS: Big pool for the big kids, kiddie side for the toddlers.
CONS: Bottled water no longer allowed.

Greetings from the land of many daughters..

For $5 you cant expect 6 flags...do the other reviewers expect to be paid to go? lol
Heck that will barely buy a happy meal at the golden arches.

We liked the slide a lot and the part where the waters current pushed you through the pool..all the fountains everywhere are cool too.
Its money well spent imo...its not like they charge you an arm and leg. My kids loved it...but so did we.
I may take them back tommorow.

8 thumbs up from Burleson, soon to be 10.

PROS: Affordability, Fun
CONS: Crowded

When I first heard our growing town was going to get a "water park" (their words, not mine), I thought, "Okay, that would be nice for this town." If I had known then what I know now, I would have voted no for this so-called "water park". It's disappointing. As the saying goes, "you get what you've paid for", somehow doesn't apply to this. Hey, I demand a tax break!

When I first heard Cleburne was going to get a "water park", I would never have envisioned this. While it is indeed a water park, it is so small, it's almost a joke. Couldn't our tax money have gone into something much nicer and bigger?

With the $5 admission price, it's affordable. Just don't expect anything too fancy.
