My son was born premature, and he has severe nearsightedness. After being told by another doctor that he had premature retenaopathy, and that he would be blind within one year, we took him to Dr. Hunt at Pediatric Eye Specialists, and they told us that was not a correct diagnosis. He has been going there for over three years now, and we are very pleased with the quality of care he receives. Dr. Hunt and the entire staff are professional, caring, and so wonderful with small children. They understand the normal fears that most children have with exams. My son has Asperger's syndrome and has difficulty interacting with people he doesn't know. They have been so patient with him and have never made him uncomfortable, and have always completed the exam. Any parent who takes their child to them will be well pleased.

My prematurely born grandbaby is being treated by the Eye doctors there. They are very careful in the way they handle her to look into her eyes to make sure her blood vessels are growning properly. The staff is very friendly and patient will all the little children. I would highly recommend Pediatric Eye Specialists to any parent with children.

This medical practice is almost entirely devoted to strabismus (lazy eye) treatment. They treat primarily children but also adults with the condition. Unlike most surgery practices, they don't immediately scream, "You need surgery." My daughter did end up needing surgery, and their staff were extremely sensitive to the emotional state of a scared 3 year old. They work very well with pediatric patients.

PROS: take good care of pediatric patients
CONS: hours of availability
