Hyde Park Bar & Grill

Hyde Park Bar & Grill is nestled in a cozy house in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin, Texas, thus creating an intimate feel. Hyde Park has the best French fries and their chicken fried steak is to-die-for! Best of all, each meal comes with A LOT of food. The chicken fried steak meal comes with two sides AND a salad (the ginger salad dressing is wonderful, by the way). Dessert is also a must-order. Hyde Park is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin.

PROS: Great ambiance and even greater food
CONS: Parking and long waits around dinner time

We have friends who come to visit a couple of times a year. Every time, they HAVE to stop here to eat. They love it. My personal favorite is the french fries!
