On a recent trip to see a friend in Houston we went to Chatters for dinner and I thought it was a quaint restaurant. The service was good, they give you time to relax and enjoy your meal and the food was very tasty.

The tag most hits it: the location is quaint and informal, but the service was decent and food was of competitive quality. Not the most authentic but a cute joint.

Chatter's is amazing!

I've been frequenting Chatter's for about a year now and I am always satisfied! It seems like every other time we go they are clearing out their seasonal wine selection and everything is discounted!! Who doesn't love that? The food is consistent and the portions are huge!! I love the turkey cobb salad with blue cheese dressing and my boyfriend loves their gyros plate! Always a good experience here, don't let other reviews fool you (especially the virus review.. that still gave it 3 stars.. spare us all.. it was probably your STD flaring up again)!

Awesome neighborhood restaurant

Chatter's is less than a mile from my house and very convenient. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. The food is great and very reasonably priced. A large wrap with pasta salad side is only $8.06 including tax and a steal. I've called in the order so often on the way home from the gym, practically have the menu memorized. I didn't even realize this place was such a good find until a few months ago; would just drive by thinking it was a hamburger spot. But, alas, opa!

Great Neighborhood Place

We get their food on a regular basis as we live closeby. The atmosphere is more conducive to lunch than dinner but it's a cute little place. Service is always good and speedy. Their food is always top notch. Their portions are great but not excessive and the food always tastes fresh and seasoned just right. Their salads, burgers and gyros are excellent choices. The bistro tapas is nice to share with a group. They deliver which is a plus!

Overpriced for what you get

Good place if you live in the neighborhood and want something quick, relaxed, and fresh. I used to eat at Chatters on a regular basis, however Chatters recently raised their prices, making some of the menu items overpriced for what you get. The black bean soup is often flavorless and tastes like they pour it straight out of the can sometimes.

Great Catering and Food

I used Chatters to cater a 90th birthday event. The food was excellent as well as the server they provided. They were very accomadating and everytime I called with questions or concerns, they were friendly and patient. They did a great event and I only heard compliments from the guests, I will not hesitate to use then again in the future as I am sure many of the guests will be sure to call on them in the future.

THE BEST FRESH, "WHOLE" FOOD IN THE HOUSTON HEIGHTS

If you want fresh, delicious food - this is the place to go! Inside and outside seating, intimate evening dining, super wait staff. Wine and beer are served (although rumor has it that a full service bar is being built behind Chatter's). Prices are very reasonable. The owner (who was formerly associated with Hungrys) is always there to great you with a big smile. Everything on the menu is delicious. The menu is broad - offerings include the very best spaghetti, lasagna, fresh fish, salads and grilled vegetables. Something to please everyone in your party. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. Good selection of wines. Casual dress. They deliver in their area too. Just a really neat find!
