McGinty Nicole Md

As a person, I like Dr. McGinty very much. She is caring, compassionate and friendly. I saw Dr. McGinty a couple times without incident before I had problems with her staff. It is a small office so there is a receptionist and a medical assistant and that is all. Her staff failed to send some orders according to Dr. McGinty's instructions and first lied about it, then claimed they were too busy to do it. They were rude and unprofessional and would not let me speak with the doctor. They finally told me just to go to the ER. I have since been in touch with them to try and get a refill and copies of my file and they have been rude and refuse to help me. I'm not sure if Dr. McGinty is completely aware of their behavior because my guess is that they have lied to her as well. Needless to say, I am looking for another doctor because as much as I liked Dr. McGinty, her staff is impossible to deal with.

Dr. McGinty has been caring for my family and me for about ten years. I have never found her to be less than professional, attentive, and thorough. She is always up-to-date with the latest medical research. She takes the time to listen, and welcomes my input. She genuinely cares about her patients as people. When my husband died in January 2007, Dr. McGinty signed the death certificate. She personally called me the following day to find out how I was doing. Not only that, she and her staff sent a lovely live plant to the funeral home. Dr. McGinty is a family doctor in the "Marcus Welby" tradition. I have referred several friends to her, and they all feel as I do about Dr. McGinty. She is absolutely, positively, the best doctor I have ever had!

I have been seeing Dr McGinty since 2004. I started seeing her after completing Breast Cancer treatment and decided I needed to see a real physician for illness, rather than just any doc the Family Practice office could give me. What a blessing! She listens to what you have to say. She pays attention to you and has never ever been in a rush while seeing me. She has taken into account my past health history when considering treatment plans and has never failed to "fix" whatever ails me when I see her.Her office staff is equally as good. They listen when you call in and ask questions. They understand the difference between urgency and "oh I need a check up". A very compassionate team!I have sent several friends to see her. I will continue to refer people to her!

I have been seeing Dr. McGinty for 8 years and I must say I love her!! She is always punctual, concerned, and thoughtful when situations arise. She has diagnosed me with kidney stones as well as breast cancer and is always very good about making appropriate referrals. She is honestly the best doctor i've been to, and i've been to a lot.

I began seeing Dr. McGinty in 2002. When I changed jobs, I had no choice but to change doctors and I regret it today because Dr. McGinty was a great physician to me. She always took a personal interest in each patient. She never based your condition or medical issues according to someone else, but you as an individual. I could see her for any type of appointment and I highly recommend her to anyone....

I have been going to Dr. McGinty for years and the person who complained about her is off base. She has never been anything but caring and goes way out of her way to give the best diagnosis. She has never prescribed a prescription unwarranted - like an antibiotic for a cold. She has always listened to me and remembered what I have told her years later. Plus she is a one-stop doctor - you can go to her for anything. She is the BEST - sorry that woman couldn't see this.

Dr. McGinty is caring, compassionate and thorough. I've never felt rushed by her or as if she wasn't listening to everything I had to say. She routinely calls in refills on medication my family takes on a regular basis. She has us come in periodically to check how we are doing on the medications and evaluate how things are going overall. We are always able to get an appointment when we come down with something like the flu. Dr. McGinty has been our family doctor since 2001 and will remain our doctor. We trust her completely.

Dr. McGinty was the first doctor to consider that on-going issues with anemia might have been caused by a serious problem. After 3 other doctors had only treated the symptoms, I went to Dr. McGinty. She immediately ordered test and once she received the results, set things in motion for me to see specialists. The end result was that I have an auto-immune disease, Celiac, that had gone undiagnosed for at least 5 years. Thanks to Dr. McGinty, I now know what I must do to keep healthy. No one else cared enough to go the extra mile to find out why I kept having the same problem. She will be my doctor as long as I am in Houston and she is in practice here.

Dr. McGinty is one of the best family physicians in the Houston area, in my opinion.

Well-educated and friendly, Dr.McGinty gives every patient as much time as they need, regardless of how busy she is. Sometimes this means waiting a little while to see her, but you always know she'll stay there until she gets all the information she needs, and all your concerns are addressed.

She has an excellent bedside manner, and is very open to considering patient concerns. She is also willing to look into alternative treatments, determining the best course of action for the individual patient.

Dr.McGinty is a famiy physician who I recommend to everyone - she's even won over my dad, a man known for his dislike and distrust of all doctors! Overall, she's outstanding!!!
