4 Stars: More to 6-6-6 than you think a devil of a course (by Johnny G.)

I really enjoyed the layout of the course with more par fives and more par threes. This adds to the scoring with more birdie opportunities but you still have to play the game. No gimmes. Wind can be troubling due to the links layout and some low flying airplanes may distract you on a particular par three. Great fun!

4 Stars: FUN Golf (by Jose C.)

While I was skeptical of the whole 6-6-6 layout concept, I had a lot of fun playing this golf course. Greens are PERFECT; fast, smooth, and true. Fairways and tees were great as well. The staff greeted me immediately, made me feel welcome, paired me up and sent me to the 1st tee within 5 minutes of walking on. The guys I played with were not accomplished golfers, but they seemed to have a lot of fun as well. There is plenty of golf to be played if you pick the correct tee box. I'll be back soon and frequently. Great course with a great staff.

PROS: Coruse conditions
CONS: Bunkers are a little rough

4 Stars: Good Layout, but... (by Jim L.)

I really enjoy the 6-6-6 layout of Westridge (6 par 5s, 6 par 4s, 6 par 3s), but once your eyes get off the golf course, there is nothing around to look at. Alot of my enjoyment of playing various golf courses is the scenery and Westridge has very little. It is a new course that will soon have houses built around it, but I don't imagine that will help the scenery. It will make it just another "north Dallas" golf course. But, if you want variety in the layout, I recommend playing it. Like I said, the course is good, just don't look around.

PROS: Great Layout
CONS: Scenery

4 Stars: Something Different (by Robert K.)

You've probably seen the ads; this is the course with six par 5's, six 4's and six 3's. Several of my friends were put off by this kind of "gimmick," but i'll try anything. First time out the course just wasn't ready but since then it has really coma long. I've been back twice and had lots of pars (and a few birdies) . . . there's something about the last two holes thathurts the overall score. There's quite a bit of water but not as much sand as some other new courses. And there's lots of variety in the par 4's; a couple you'll need drive and a long iron and at least one, No. 13, gives you a chance to go drive the green . . . if you're not worried about a water accident.
