OMG! She just did my hair last night and I love it! She also has done my sister, my mother, and a few other girlfriends' hair. All flawless!

She actually listened to what I wanted, and make everything so simple. She was so pleasant to be around, that I didn't feel like I was just getting my hair done, but rather I was with a friend who just happened to know how to cut, dye, style my hair.

In fact she is SO amazing that I booked her for my wedding and reception this November. She also does makeup & when my friends saw the finished work, they instantly demanded details.

I've been looking for a great salon for a while, since my last attempt for a unique style ended in disaster at a local salon.

Not the case this time. As soon as I saw Holley with her AWESOME hair, I KNEW I was in good hands, and that she wouldn't let me leave the salon until I looked great, and made sure that I got what I wanted. I will DEFINANTLY be back. I've been getting sooo many compliments from friends all over the world.

This place is FANTASTIC! I walked in with a horrible cut and color a year ago and Pam has transformed my hair into a beautiful work of art. Fun place to go- fabulous results. This color is really beautiful- highlights and lowlights look so good- I am so thankful that I found this place after THREE years of hopping from salon to salon, trying to find someone that could get my color right. Heavenly! :)

After getting a bad hair cut in Frisco, Texas, I was on a search for someone who knew how to cut long, thick, naturally wavy hair. I also wanted a salon that used the Goldwell Color Line, Goldwell has been around for years, and that is what my prior stylist would use. I have tried other color lines, and this by far is the best, my hair feels healthy, and the color will last for a long time. Holley Primm, took her time with me, she knew exactly what hairstyle would look best with my face type, she did great low lights as well, and since she has been doing my hair I have received so many compliments!

Scott has been doing my blond highlight/lowlight combo for the last 2 years and I absolutely love his work. He does a wonderful job picking just the right color shade for your skin tone and type, so the blond he comes up is totally customized and looks great. I get TONS of compliments on my hair & color and I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else now...

I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for great cut & color. Scott has convenient evening & weekend appointments, which I love to. He does a wonderful job and pays great attention to detail, but yet he is efficient and you leave the salon in a very reasonable amount of time with great new hair!!!

Jennifer has been a great find since moving to Dallas. Not only has she taken the time to understand my hair she remembers month to month what I like but also suggests new ideas. As my husband said " Your hair always looks great" after I've been to Jennifer at the Color Studio.

Diana cut my curly hair the best ever, better than the Ouidad-certified curly hair specialists in Plano. I went back for highlights/lowlights, and she again did an excellent job. She really hears what you say during the consult. Others in the salon are friendly and nice, a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Scott at the Color Studio is nothing short of a miracle worker. I got the worst haircut in Los Angeles a few months ago, and while visiting Dallas this weekend I called Scott back up to see if he could fix it (I had gone to him once before I moved to LA a couple of years ago). Looks like I'm going to become a frequent flyer - he's worth flying to Dallas every 8 weeks for. He listens to exactly what you want and communicates with you about what he's doing, letting you have input on what you want. The haircut I walked in with was a disaster, and Scott was able to fix my cut without sacrificing the length. The whole experience was great and I walked out feeling like a new woman. Thanks, Scott, for bringing my hair back to life!

After calling and calling all over the place. Being hung up on and being talked to rudely. I was about to give up. Until I called The Color studio and talked to Holly.

My stylist that I normally go to did not return my calls at all.
I was nervous but very excited. I set up an appointment with Holly she was AMAZING friendly and knew what I wanted. I will definitely go there again. I will recommend it to anyone who is looking to go to the salon for the first time. Loved it keep up the AMAZING job!!!!!!!!

Scott at the Color Studio is amazing!!! I moved to Dallas about a year ago and am always very apprehensive about finding a stylist because I am so picky when it comes to my hair. I am so lucky that I found Scott at the Color Studio! He listens to me and what am looking for and always produces a fantastic result. He is amazing with color and and fabulous with cuts and styling. I always walk out so excited about my hair and get compliments before I am out the door!!!

She is the BEST stylist I have ever been to! After moving from Houston and going to the same stylist for years I was very nervous about going to someone new. She did an amazing job on my highlights and cut and was so sweet!! I have been recommending her to all my friends!

Sara is an awesome stylist! She pays attention to every detail and has always done a superb job. She is great with color and cuts and I am looking forward to going to her for my wedding day! She is the one I most trust for my hair on that special day. She is also fun and outgoing and provides a wonderful salon experience.
Sara is great and the entire staff at this salon are friendly and outgoing. The salon is very clean and new and offers a wide range of products with qualified personnel to answer questions.

I high Recommend Scott for any trendy haircut. He gave me an awesome Faux Hawk hair style! The Hawk is a great style for some weekend fun, but can easily be tamed down for the office. I have already recommended a few friends to Scott and I am so glad I found the perfect Stylist!!!

Where do I start.... The staff are super friendly, extra helpful, no pretentiousness at all -which you quite often find when your going to get your hair done.
Prices are awesome. My hairdresser Sara Mcroberts, does amazing highlights, so thorough and not patchy and the blondes are awesome. She nailed the blondes. Got them exactly the way I wanted them. Shes super funny, and a great dancer....ask her to dance for you.
She listens and knows whats she's doing, I have never seen any unhappy people at this salon. Highly recommend her for both color and cut..

I moved to richardson and was driving downtown for a hairdresser until I found the Color studi. Max is fantastic and funny funny! I not only get a great cut and style from max but have fun too. There is also some great shops around, so weather you walk in and have to wait and go shopping or call ahead , it is worth the drive to richardson for this salon.

I am fairly new in town and got my hair done at a local salon. It looked awful. No matter how many times she tired to fix it. I found the Color Studio online and went to them. The girl, Sara, did a fantastic job. She was able to fix it just like I had originally wanted it. I highly recommend the salon and Sara to everyone.

Before I found Sarah I didn't know what a great cut and color felt like. I recommend Sarah and The Color Studio to all my friends and family. They are all as pleased with Sarah's work as I am! She is an amazing colorist and makes me feel like a million bucks everytime I visit her. The Color Studio is a beautiful salon and Sara is an amazing addition to their wonderful staff.

My mother and I have been using the services of SARA McROBERTS since I was a freshman in high school and will continue to use her services for a long time to come!!!!!!!!!!! I've had my hair colored, cut, and styled for special occasions, and I have ALWAYS come out of the salon looking FAB-U-LOUS!!!! Everyone should go to the Color Studio and Salon AND go see SARA! OHHHHHH and I almost forgot she is also very talented when it comes to waxing!

i came in this summer for my best friends wedding and sara was waiting on us. she was very courteous and sensitive to the particular needs of a wedding party. i do admit we can be very difficult to please, expecially with a picky bride. my hair was excellent and i have recommended her and the studio to many friends. when i get married that will be the first place i call to setup up my bridal party for the big day. the hair was magnificent and really captured the beauty of the bride on her big day. i say thank you for your special touch on such an important day for my best friend, not to mention i had fabulous hair along with her. sara made a special even more special Thank you again!

I went to Color Studio after I read that it made the Best Of Category, but I beg to differ. The salon was NOT clean, nor very professional. Not only was I not impressed by the atmosphere but the service was poor as well. The female that highlighted my hair was far from being professional. She slapped some color on my hair and left me for 30 minutes. My hair is way over processed, and the color is completely off. At the end, she didn't want to take time to blowdry my hair out, so she simply took the dryer to it, and ran the brush through a few times. She then realized that she had messed up in spots on my roots, so ran to make up some more color to fix it. It is not fixed! Point being, I do not recommend this place. I would love to go back and have my hair fixed, but it's not worth the experience.

Not only does Jen go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are hyper-satisfied, but she's really easy on the eyes (that means she's hot)!!! Color, trim, style, or whatever you need, she ROCKS!!!! Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else!!!

My daughters and I have been having our hair done at The Color Studio & Salon for years, and could never imagine ever going to anyone else. Jennifer is excellent at her trade, as well as one of the nicest people I've ever met. I have never walked out of the salon feeling anything but completely satisfied with what she had done.

The Color Studio is a phenominalhair salon. The receptionists are knowledgable, helpful and extremely complementary (what more could you ask for). JENNIFER is my stylist, she exceeds my expectations every time I get my hair done. Whether it is for a cut, color or styling for a special event, she always surprises me with her talent. Jennifer has been doing my hair for over a year and Since I started going to her, I have people asking me daily where I get my hair cut. I work downtown Dallas and Jennifer is absolutely worth the drive.

Seriously, JEFF COMESS is the absolute best. I have been to so many great hairdressers over the years and I will never leave JEFF COMESS! My haircut and color always looks great. Most of all, when I see JEFF COMESS, I know he cares about me. He wants me to be happy with my hair in every way. He never lets me leave until he knows I am completely happy. He always has great ideas for my hair. At the same time, he will follow my direction too. JEFF COMESS is always,always, always consistent with his great work and his pleasant and upbeat personality. Everytime I see JEFF COMESS, feel like I am his most important client. Even when it is time to go home on Friday or Saturday night! I have heard others feel the same way about him. I hear everyone loves him! I can't imagine ever going to anyone else to do my hair ever again. JEFF COMESS is truly the best! I know that if I am ever not completely satisfied with my hair, JEFF COMESS will make it perfect again. Even though I have been satisfied for years, I know I could voice any complaints about my hair and he wouldn't take offense. He would just make me look great with a smile on his face. Jeff always makes himself available to do my hair. Even if he is too busy for me, he finds a way. For those of you who are wondering, his prices are very reasonable too.

ANGIE is SIMPLY the BEST!!!! She makes me feel BEAUTIFUL and the process is so easy and pain free!!! Infact she is what you would call a triple threat!!! She Styles, Cuts, and Colors. The amazing thing about her ability and skill is that she happens to be an expert in all three areas!! When i first met Angie 8 years ago she saved me from a horrible home hair experiment. Several other stylists did not want to deal with what I had performed on my hair. My daughter wanted to take me to school for show and tell on Halloween! This is no Lie! It was mortifying. Of course, I used over the counter hair products wanting to look just like my co-worker. Had no idea that there was a science to hair coloring. ANGIE made me feel normal and that everything would be fine. She repaired my hair in 20 minutes and from that point on I have been told my hair is AWESOME!! People are constantly asking me about my hair color and style. She never takes me to the extreme unless, of course, I ask. Recently I did and OH MY GOSH!!!!! I have never had so many guys notice and want to actually touch my hair. It put a big BOOST to my EGO and has literally changed my life. I have so much more fun going out now. I actually don't think I ever have bad hair days anymore. I LOVE ANGIE. She is kind, funny, affordable, and most of all an expert in the field. I wish I had known her when I first started styling my hair. I feel so fortunate to know her and call her my complete hair Stylists. She sees my whole family now. My Kids love her!!!! People started complimenting my hair the day Angie started styling my hair. Since my latest style the compliments come every day and from people I would never even expect to notice my hair!.

In my busy, hectic world, nothing compares to my weekly visit to The Color Studio, a friendly, warm salon with great atmosphere, fantastic staff with superb talent. It's my chance to take time for myself, to be gloriously pampered and walk out feeling and looking like a million! Anna, Cindy and Claire get things started with friendly conversation and expert professional nail care with great advice and products for at-home skin care. And nothing compares to a relaxing pedicure in the big lounge chair. Then week after week plus special occasions for over 6 years, Angie has cut and styled my hair plus all my family members' hair . Her talent and precision and sparkling attitude keep us coming back for more. She even graciously attended my daughter's out of town wedding. The entire wedding party could not have looked better. Recently, more and more gray hairs seem to show up. At 56 and having virgin hair (never colored, straightened or permed), covering those gray hairs was a scarey subject. But Angie picked just the right method and color. My hair looks and feels natural and is in great condition but NO gray hairs! Thank you Angie for your winning personality and professional expertise - couldn't do without you!

I got a new attitude!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Angie for making me see my original color and the same old do needed to go...and never come back. Life got out of control and the years went by and the road bumps on the journey were in my rear view mirror. Thinking that a great head massage shampoo, trim, and someone else doing my hair was just what I needed - I visited Angie. She listened to my life story, said "Bless your heart...and let me tweek your hair!" I had always been afraid of highlights and the stripey look - not anywhere near Angie. Everyone, but everyone told me my hair was awesome and it looks like it is moving with you. She brightened up everything about the way I looked with her magical color combinations and a style that was just right for me. I left feeling good and looking good!

If I just got a great haircut, that would be fine. If the people were nice and I really liked my stylist, dandy. If the place was cool, clean and had a great atmosphere, all the better--I could get any 1 or 2 of those things at plenty of salons in Dallas, where money earned is money shown--there's lots of options. But I choose the Color Studio because I get all that and more, every time I show up.

I walk through the door into a great atmosphere with cool decor...EVERYONE is nice....people who don't even touch my hair know my name....Pam knows what I like, even remembers what she did last time, and even remembers 5 haircuts prior to that (and I've had quite a few hair "adventures" playing in bands!)

This is a place where it's not just another errand to run: go to bank, drop off movie rentals, get haircut. I actually look forward to going, because it's like hanging out with friends, and then I leave looking better!

After reading the reviews for The Color Studio, and being on a mission to find someone who could do something with the mess on top of my head, I decided to give them a shot. I was fortunate enough to book an appointment with Jeff C.

Not only was I able to make an appointment within a reasonable time frame, the end result was more than I had hoped for. Jeff did an absolutely fabulous job; the color was perfect, I really, REALLY like the cut, and the cost was actually less than I've paid in the past for what I've considered very mediocre work.

The icing on the cake ... my husband actually noticed! And liked it!

Thanks, Jeff! You definitely have a customer for life!

I went in to see Jeff C for the first time after having my hair ruined by another salon. Not only did he spend 3.5 hours hours fixing someone else's mess but he was so amazing, reassuring, and calming the entire time. He cut no corners and did it all the right way. On top of all of that, it was time to pay and I was expecting a rediculous bill (and would have been MORE than willing to pay it) and what I rec'd was the most reasonable bill EVER...especially for the time spent and the effort he put into it. THANK YOU, JEFF C...I will be a client of YOURS forever!!!!

My family has been going to Jeff for 16 years. I can't imagine going to anyone else. He is terrific. He and Pam did the all the girls hair in my daughter's wedding several years ago and they all still talk about how good their hair looked! My kids schedule their trips home from college just to get Jeff to cut their hair. You couldn't find a better salon. All the stylists are great. We have used some of the other stylists when Jeff was out and we have always been satisfied.

I have been going to Pam for 4 years now and I wouldn't dare go to anyone else. She is the only person that I have total faith in when it comes to my hair. I had been looking for a great stylist for years when I found Pam. I get more compliments on my hair style/cut than anything else. She rocks!
Also, everyone in the salon is very friendly and I've never seen any "bad hair" walk out of the salon.

My entire family goes to The Color Salon. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Pam and Jeff, the owners, take special care of each and every one of us. We're aged from 7 years to 64 years with varying thicknesses of hair and specialized needs. And, we're all completely happy with the up-to-date cutting and coloring results. Few salons can boast pleasing three generations of a family!

Did I mention these talented stylists travel the country teaching their skills to others?!!!

To make things better yet, we now consider both Pam and Jeff friends . . . that's how comfortable they make their clients feel.

The Color Salon indeed earns the "5 Star rating."

I had been getting my hair colored and cut by Pam for over 14 years and I wouldnt allow or trust anyone else to touch it...that is until I moved to New Jersey. I always new that Pam was the best and her staff and team always made me feel warm and welcome. I didnt realize how important this was to me until I made the move. Not only was I faced with poor, unknowledgable stylist but also people that frankly did not care about me, my comfort let a lone my hair. Unfortunately, to make matters worse, I was also plagued 3 times with the horrible event of having my hair burned! That was enough! Again, realizing that Pam was not only the best in Dallas...she and the people that make up The Color Studio are the BEST from here to Jersey. Now, I fly back to Dallas (when I can, since it's a 4+ hours plane ride) JUST to get my hair done and have an awesome salon experience...it's like coming back home. Thank You Pam, Jeff and the staff, you truly are the BEST!

I've been going to The Color Studio for almost eight years and don't see myself ever going anywhere else. It's a great experience every time I go; my stylist, Pam, always has fun stories to tell and always wants to know what's happening in my life. It's like going to a friends house for a great conversation and coming out with a great haircut. Who could ask for more?

They have lots of different services to choose from, which makes it a one-stop-shop if you're looking for more than a haircut. You could spend an entire afternoon here and get a massage, manicure, haircut, and much more. I could go on, but I'll just say that I highly recommend going here. It's a place where you don't have to worry about what your hair will look like when you come out and you can genuinely enjoy the time you spend while in the salon. Enjoy!

My longest and most successful relationship is with Pam (owner of the salon)! I absolutely love her and everyone at the salon. They all do amazing work and are totally commited to their clients. Anything you need -- they'll do it and do it right. You couldn't find a better hair salon and let's face it, that's a really hard thing to find.

The Color Studio and Salon is a relaxed, warm, beautiful salon, wherein the stylists all really seem to like each other, and the salon owners are good to the stylists. All that translates into happy stylists who do great work on your hair. I have consistently received excellent cuts and high/lowlights in the five years that I've been going there. Additionally, I have always been able to come in with a vague idea of what I wanted to do with my hair, and also get gentle guidance about what would work and what wouldn't so much with my hair type. But perhaps most importantly, these folks don't just pay lip service to the "great customer experience"...you really do feel like they care about what you look like, about whether you like the services received, and even about what's going on in your life. Every woman (and man) should have a great and trustworthy stylist by the time she/he's 30...your odds of finding one at the Color Studio have to be pretty close to 100%.

Pros: Friendly, professional, great results.

Cons: Parking is so-so, and some of the more popular stylists are booked weeks out.
