I really love this restaurant. I am a local and have visited every restaurant in town and find myself at this restaurant more than any other. They have the best breakfast in town, hands down. The prices are extremely reasonable. The portions are big, sometimes too big! The menu offers so many choices and it's all home-made. I never get bored eating here. You know what they say, "Go where the locals go" and this is definantely where you will find the locals.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The Onion Rings were awesome! The Club Sandwich was almost big enough for two of us. If you're in the mood for a flashback, this is a great 50's Diner (for Lake Jackson, LOL).
4I'm from Bryan & just moved here with my husband who is a "native" to Clute. I was tired of going to JC's & Chilis ALL THE TIME when I came to visit so he took me here. It was great.! I love the decor (makes you feel like you went back in time) and the food is pretty good. Our waitress last time could've been a little more attentive (we slid our empty water glasses as far to the end of the table as we could and tried our best to look parched...lol) She was really sweet though...nice and quiet with a nostalgic touch. Good for a change!
