Lochinvar Golf Club

What a course, Bentgrass greens and exceptional fairways. I was lucky enough to get to play a round of golf at this very private golf club in north Houston. I was not disappointed. As you would expect the staff was great but the course was out of sight good. Great layout. Hope to play again soon.

Please get your facts straight before you post. The only thing worse than dramatic female golfers are misinformed arrogant men. "Like most modern words, the word "golf" derives from older languages and dialects. In this case, the languages in question are medieval Dutch and old Scots.

The medieval Dutch word "kolf" or "kolve" meant "club." It is believed that word passed to the Scots, whose old Scots dialect transformed the word into "golve," "gowl" or "gouf."

By the 16th Century, the word "golf" had emerged.

1) If you had enough respect, you would spell "course" correctly; but regardless, it is not about respect for the course, it is about the fact that the members are looking to escape the obnoxious drama of female golfers
2) Golf stands for Gentlemen Only, Ladies FORBIDDEN, read your history!!
3) I'm sure that Lochinvar will be fine regardless of whether the people that would actually listen to you boycott the club or not
4) I'm sure that if you have as tight of a leash on your husband as it seems, he would not be invited to join; even on the outside chance that he could afford it

This golf club is living in the dark ages where women aren't allowed.

They actually posted this in their description:
A magnificent track very near Houston's Intercontinental Airport. Very private, with fewer than 200 members. No tee times. Men only club except on Xmas eve, when member's wives may enter pro-shop to purchase gifts.

Women are "allowed" to enter the pro-shop on Christmas Eve to purchase gifts. Where are the clubs and cavemen! If a woman actually went in and spent one dime in this shop, they should be given electric shock therapy.

This "Good Ole Boys Club" which I don't think has anything but White Male Members is a disgrace to our society!

If my husband even thought about joining or playing he would be in big trouble! I love to play golf and I have as much respect for a coarse as any man.

BOYCOTT THIS CLUB!
