Klecka, Pepi, Dvm - Perrin-Beitel Veterinary Hosp

I would drive more than the 15 miles one way I already to do take my dogs to be seen by Dr Pepi or Dr Ayers. They are great vets and people. They really love what they do and are top notch care providers without costing an arm or a leg. They always cure my rescued street strays who are usually very sick when they first come to Dr Pepi. Their assistants are great too! It is easy to see how much they care about their patients and their owners too.

I love the fact that they know my baby and love him just as much as I love him. I love that the prices are right and that the diagnoses are correct! I just love this facility, staff and all. They are the best

Dr Ayers and Perrin Beitel Vet Hospital are amazing! Unfortunately, people dump dogs in our neighborhood so we've got a full house. Dr Ayers knows that we are trying to take care of our family of five big dogs on a budget. The charges have always been more than fair on his part. He is a wonderful, sweet, compassionate doctor and the staff are exactly the same. The office may not be bright, shiny, new and fancy, but the level of care is phenomenal. AND those brand new facilities are charging 5x Dr Ayers' fees to pay their overhead, not because they have better care. I recommend Dr Ayers to everyone!

I agree with the other posters---Dr. Ayers is fantastic. So was the vet tech. However, the receptionists were unfriendly, cold, without manners or personality. On top of that, the price I was charged was nearly $80 more than they told me it would be on the phone. Since dealing with office staff is 50% of the transaction, I will not be going back there, at least not until the staff changes..

Every one of the less than '5' Star Ratings here are the wrong clinic- not PB Vet Clinic on Sunshadow with Drs Ayers and Klecka. We have a mini-sanctuary with no less than 12 and up to 20 rescued dogs and cats at a time for the last 25 years. Drs. Ayers and Klecka. Many of these animals were in horrible shape when we found them. These two Vets are so darn awesome and use such common-sense to help us determine the best course for every animal, that I wish we could use them as our own physicians. They are so highly knowledgeable and balanced in their approaches. You can afford to provide your pets with the best treatments knowing they recieve the best care possible. We have hundreds of stories and experiences to support our rating --over 25 years for all of our animals, plus, all the others we have brought to them and rescued, then found forever loving homes for too.

Dr. Ayers is the best vet! Their staff is always friendly and helpful. I found him thanks to the reviews on this site and for that I am so thankful. My cat was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier this year by another vet. Before, I would spend a lot of money on vet bills and my cat never got the attention she needed. Now, thanks to Dr. Ayers, she is staying healthy! He asks that I call him regularly to let him know how my cat is doing. My animals have never received this kind of attention from any other vet. He truly cares for your animal and he is very affordable. I strongly recommend him!!!

I can??t say how thankful I am that everyone who left reviews here took the time to do so because otherwise we may not have ever found Perrin-Beitel Vet Hospital. My husband and I, along with our two dogs, have only been in SAT for a few months (we had moved from out of state) so we were in need of a new vet. I had asked around for recommendations but didn??t get anyone who would really ??recommend? their vet, per se, so I decided to hit the internet for reviews and found this site.

From the reviews, we decided to take them in and made an appointment for a heartworm test so we could get them back on heart guard. When Dr. Ayers came in to see us, he asked how long they had been off of the heartguard, it had only been a few months, so he asked for proof (which, thank God, I actually had), then told us that they didn??t need to be tested, that it takes 6 months for heartworms to develop (I didn??t know that) and he??d go ahead and prescribe the heartguard and we could be on our way.

Folks, I thought this little visit of ours would cost close to $100 ?? we walked out of there only paying $13.00 for one dose of heartguard for each of them ?? they didn??t even charge us for the office visit! They could have easily did the heartworm test and charged us for it and we wouldn??t have been the wiser. That kind of honesty today is hard to come by. I??m going to recommend this vet to everyone!!

Perrin Beitel Vet Hospital was recommended to me by a good friend, and the fact that she sent me there shows how good a friend she is. The Dr's are wonderful. In my opinion they epitomize what good veterinarians should be like. They care about our babies as much as we do and they are vets because they truly care about animals. As well as caring, they are affordable. I have a number of cats (including some strays) that they take care of for me, and if it wasn't for them I really don't know what I would do. I want you to know I appreciate you, and will be ever grateful to you for the care you've given my babies. Thank you :>)

They are WONDERFUL! Not only with your pets but with people. They are reasonably priced and well worth a drive if you want GOOD veterinary care for your furbabies! They have helped me 7 cats and kittens I rescued and a few dogs too! Dr. Ayers, a white haired gentelman, got on his knees on the tile floor of the exam room because my dog was afraid of the exam table!! These two Dr.'s REALLY care!! They do not force vaccinations on you if you do not want them, but they do send you a card in the mail letting you know they are due for them. They also do not recommend any treatments, tests that are not needed. They are just amazing!

They have reasonable prices and great service. I have been taking my dog there for the past four years and it is never overly priced and the staff is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Our family has taken our animals to Dr Ayres since I was a child (I'm in my 40's now), and I still drive across town to take them to see Dr Ayres and Klecka. My entire family does the same. The staff is wonderful, the care is wonderful! I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Blake (believe that is her name) is the only fit Vet there. She is caring and reasonable. The others are strictly out for money. They try to make you get extra services you are not asking for and do not want. These are usually services like barely looking into the mouth when told your dog has been caughing. There are hidden fees, etc.I always paid $6 to $8 for nail clips there, last time without notice it was $12. I went in for minor stuff, came out owing $80.85. I am a Senior on minimum income and almost fainted at that. They just act like they do not care.

They are not courteous. The front not, and most of the Vets are not. There records are usually not right. I will not go there again.

I think there's some confusion about 2 vet clinics. Perrin Beitel Vet Hospital is actually on Sunshadow Drive and Drs. Ayers and Klecka are the regular veterinarians there...and they are great!!

Another clinic is ON Perrin Beitel (right at the intersection of 410 & Perrin Beitel. I think some of the negative posts are confusing the clinics. I went to the clinic on Perrin Beitel/410 once and was not impressed. Then I found Dr. Ayers and Dr. Klecka at the Perrin Beitel Vet Hospital (on Sunshadow) and have been going there for at least 7 years or so. I am VERY happy with the care they give my pets.

I've been taking kittens,cats & dogs to Drs Ayers and Klecka for years.Each is very knowledgeable and current in their veterinary treatment.On several occasions when I brought in a sick pet,they were compassionate and did everything possible to save it or to ease its suffering.They quickly respond to emergencies, and have performed lifesaving treatments on my pets.These Vets are trustworthy,and do not perform or recommend unnecessary treatments.I highly recommend them.

My experience at 3865 Perrin Beitel Animal Hospital was not good. The vet that examined my dog was Navarro. I was told it was possible to pick my dog up at 9pm. I came back to get her at 8pm and the hospital decided to close and not tell anyone. I waited all night I tried to call the no. that was given to me on their business card and I got another animal hospital. The receptionist claimed that they are not associated with the Perrin Beitel animal hospital and could not be of any help. While I was waiting outside, another lady pulled up to visit her cat that she had dropped off. When she left the cat she said the cat had gone into shock. When I left my dog she was bleeding from her rectum. These animals were forced to stay over night and they were left unattended to. I was outside the building all night no one was in the building it was dark. Although they did not charge me for keeping my dog overnight, I think it was very selfish to leave animals with possibly life threatening conditions unattended to. If there was a fire these animals would have died.

Dr. Ayers has been my vet for over 20 years. He has taken excellent care of all my dogs and cats. I am so grateful for him. His care is top-notch, yet his prices are very reasonable. I dread the day he retires as I can't imagine anyone else caring for my pets the way he has. I drive about 15 miles one way to get to his office and pass MANY other veterinary offices along the way, but would never consider changing to a closer office. He is well worth the drive!

We have taken my dog here since she was a little puppy and they have always been great with her. The staff is really great with animals and let you know the best way to care for your animal. They have grooming services and we have even boarded her here when we wnt on vacation. Their prices are reasonable and this plac is clean.

Very down to earth, common sense guy. Always steps in and goes the extra mile with suggestions. Realizes that your pet is part of your family, and you care. Offers flexible terms - your pet's health comes before money.
