I had my 2009 camry tinted last week. I received an excellent service, and the product quality seems to be excellent too. And best of all they provide life time warranty.

I had my 1990 Honda Accord tinted in August of 1996. It started bubbling up a couple of years ago on the back window but I kept putting it off until my wife found the original receipt. I brought the car in and without any issues or questions, they honored the warranty and re-tinted the the back window as well as the side windows. An excellent tint job was done in 1996 and an equally fine job was done this August. How many companies would stand behind their work 13 years later? Many thanks to the good people over there at Sun Tint!

After buying the new Kia Soul, I heard about a way to help protect it's finish....the Invisible Bra (or Clear Shield). I did my research, shopped around and in the end I went with SunTint because every question I had was answered, their price was reasonable and the customer service excellent. I am thrilled. Dirt, insects and grime just wipe away leaving my Soul clean and "purty". Thanks SunTint, you have my recommendation.

We recently got a BMW Z4 and wanted to make sure it lasted as long a possible. The BMW dealership recommended Sun Tint for a clear shield. We had it put on in January and were extremely happy with the quality, price and staff at Sun Tint. About two months later, the car was viciously attacked by a curb and the clear shield had a bad scrape. I took it in to see if it could be repaired or would require replacement. He said that the bad part could be patched and would only take about an hour. He quoted a ridiculously low price. When I brought the car back, the repair was done in 45 minutes, looked absolutely beautiful and cost nothing. These people really know the value of good customer service. They are knowledgable, fast, provide great quality and don't charge enough for their service.

Hi, I had the Clear Paint Protection installed on my white car about a week ago and absolutely love it. Very professional service and gave recommendation on a better film that wouldn't fade because of my white car. I did notice some peeling around some areas so I brought car back for a checkup. They were able to fix it quickly and nicely. Thanks!

I recently had my 08 Audi TT tinted at SunTint and they did a great job and the price was very fair. I love the results. Here is where I believe they went beyond the product and into exceptional customer service. There was one issue with the driver?s side window, a scratch. They looked at in felt it was in the original glass. I agreed. The challenge was getting a proud Audi dealer to see that. Russell, one of the owners spoke with the Audi dealer and we were able to finally get the window replaced on warrantee. I returned the car to SunTint at 4 in the afternoon and they replaced the tint immediately and did not even charge me for replacing the tint on the new window. Great job SunTint! If you are looking for a great local company, run by honest and very capable folks, go and see for yourself, I do not believe you will be disappointed. In fact you might be writing the next five star review!

WOW...really did a great job on my 2008 Prius.
1) The shuttle service back to work was ideal.
2) People are REALLY FRIENDLY and took the time to explain all details.
3) Service was done fast, fast, fast ....left car at noon picked up at 4:00pm....cool.

-I choose the CARBON tint as it has lifetime guarantee from fading...
This made my car not only feel cool inside...but look cool on the outside.
** Same job was priced twice as much at "Mother's"....

MOST IMPORTANT---Please pet TUCKER the old golden lab who will undoubtedly greet you at the door, wagging his tail with love in his eyes.

Pros: shuttle service at drop off...or nice lounge to wait in.

Cons: On W. Koenig Lane...which gets some hairy traffic at 5:00pm on weekdays

I took my brand new '08 Scion Tc to Sun Tint and I'm living with the regret now. Soon after leaving the first (of three) appointments I realized that all 5 of my windows (four front, and rear window) had bubbles in each of them, there were some scratches and crimps on the driver side windows and both front windows were cut too short on the sides (so basically there were huge gaps on each side).

When I came back for the second appointment I was told by Ronnie that only the front four windows would be redone. When I asked why the back window wasn't replaced I was told that they only replace window tint that has more than 5% of the window with bubbles. So basically the man was telling me that it was too bad for me that there were bubbles on the edges of my back window, as long as it wasn't more than 5% then I had to just deal with it.

A couple of days later I noticed bubbles and a scratch on the back driver's side window. This time when I came back the owner (Mr. Haertl himself) was there, on a Saturday morning no less. He rubbed his finger on the window and tried to tell me that the scratch was on the outside of the window, he actually had me rub my finger while saying "Do you feel that". His own employee then told him and myself that it was actually on the inside and not the outside. Lie #1. So then Mr. Haertl told me that it was there before I had the tint put on. He told me there was no way his people scratched the window. He messed up when he told me that they don't put tint on windows that are scratched. So if my brand new window was scratched how come they put on the tint two times before that day. Lie #2. Basically I'm just telling everyone to do a check (with the owner's or employee's) of your windows before they touch them. Because if they scratch them they won't take responsibility for it. If they did they would have to replace the window itself and that would take money out of their pockets.

We are planning a road trip to Atlanta in the summer and knew we needed our car windows tinted for our two year old who would be in the back seat in the hot sun. We knew nothing about tinting windows AT ALL and didnt know where to start. I found Sun Tint here on Citysearch and after reading the reviews , we decided to give em a call. I talked to Denise and explained to her that I needed my windows tinted. I told her I had no idea what I needed:) She then asked me a few questions and recommended the best film for my needs...She was super friendly and knew her stuff:) They didnt try to sell me something I wasnt gonna need or wasnt going to be happy with which is rare now adays! I called later to set an appointment and Ronnie was able to get me in at a time that was going to be best for me...Another "wow..COOL" moment:)

I went in and a bit worried since I had my 2 year old daughter and my 7 year old nephew with me...Didnt know how well they would do for the 2 hour time frame they had told me it would take...I had nothing to worry about..I was in at 11 am and my car rolled up, ready for me to drive away in at 11 50 am! WOW These guys are fast but their workmanship is impeccible! Dont think because these guys are fast, they cut corners! They are good at what they do and they have perfected it! I was so impressed with the guys a Sun Tint from the first phone call to the time I drove away,...I have even recommended my mom to them...She lives in Waco but I told her it was worth the drive to get the quality of service you get here! And their prices! Wow...These guys have the best of both worlds...Great prices AND even greater service! You Guys ROCK!

Had front windows on my FJ done last October. While cleaning my Fj I noticed a square blotch on the drivers side window. At first I though it was some surface dust and tried to remove with a microfiber towel. No luck.....returned to Sun Tint, they looked over my problem and half hour later I was out the door with a newly tinted window at no charge! That is excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their car windows done.

I bought a brand new car and this shop was the first thing on the list when I googled for "tint shop" in my area. I just walked in, and luckily they were able to tint my car the same day. After 1.5~2 hours of waiting, I received my car back and I loved the work they've done. Then I left thinking i'd never had to come back again. WRONG! after three days or so, I found hundreds of bubbles on the rear windshield, especially on the dot matrix area. Also there were few bubbles on one of the front windows as well. I went back to the shop and complained, and they were happy to redo em for me.(except I had to wait 2+ weeks) They redid the rear windshield with what they called a 'special glue' but eventually it did no better than previous one.I don't know if it's common w/ other cars as well but almost every HONDA 08 ACCORD COUPE has this problem.so if you do happened to have this car, I'd suggest leave the dot matrix area tint-free or cover it with black vinyl. At last, on my 3rd visit, I just told them to cut& pull off the flim above the dot matrix line.
It looks little weird but its whole lot better than milky white bubbles. I'll just put black vinyl on it later.
btw, Ronnie was very helpful and kind enough to offer rides. Thanks again.
If you live in austin or neighboring cities, use this shop & you won't regret it.

First Impression: EXCELLENT! Staff was knowledgeble. I did a walk-in, since I didn't know much about the company. I got immediate and friendly service. They had brochures and samples to hold up to your window to find the right shades of tint. 2nd visit (after scheduling an appt): Comfortable! I brought my car in and did the 1.5-2 hr wait in their lobby area. There was also a sign up that welcomed customers to use their wi-fi interenet if you have a laptop. Otherwise, you were welcome to watch tv and read magazines. The Finished Job: BEAUTIFUL tinting and not a bubble in sight. Note (on certain tints): for the tint to set, they recommend you do not roll down your windows during the first 24 hrs. Also: They recommend you come back a week later so they can double check the windows. 2 hours wait time = beautiful tint done professionally and very friendly staff.

have used Sun Tint for window tinting for more than 15 years and 5 cars. I have always recieved the best customer service and the highest standards of window film. In this case I had my son's 1992 Honda detailed and I couldn't believe what they did with it. It was as if it was new. The paint as shiny again and the interior was a miracle. I highly recommed Sun Tint not only for the care they take with both window tinting and detailing my car but it is rare these days to incounter such a high level of customer service.

These guys are the best. Not only did they work quickly, but the work is fabulous. They are friendly and know their product as well. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and he is a very nice man as well. The tinting on my car looks fabulous and I'm very happy. Oh, and the waiting room with cable tv and wifi is great too! Best tint, pricing and installation in town. I've used others in the Austin area and am glad I finally found Sun Tint. I called around and others would match their pricing, but the service doesn't compare. Don't waste your time looking around, go to Sun Tint. You'll love it, if you have kids, they'll really love it. This was my 5th or 6th tint job and I'm very picky; they did a great job.

I chose to use Sun Tint after comparing user reviews here for different companies in town. I was so satisfied with the first car, I took my wife's car in, too. Service was quick and the job was well-done and we're very happy with the quality. A real bonus for me was the free wi-fi access in their lobby so I could work while I waited.

I brought my 2006 corvette into them because they were highly rated. I had about 900 dollars worth of clear bra and tint put on my car. After they were done they washed my car and ran a dirty chamois all over it and put fine scratches all over the entire car. They also didnt wipe the inside down around the rear window and the soap wouldnt come of it left marks. They were not willing to take any money off the just offered to attempt to get the scratches out by having someone buff the car. I didnt want to let them thinking they might have the same type person doning that job as well. Who might mess the car up even worse. Another one of my friends brought his car to get it tinted. They had to redo a couple of windows and clean where they got soap on the cloth doors. The final time he brought it in they poured soap in all of the closed compartments in the car. "Spread the word. After having my windows retinted for the second and third time, because of poor installation, they gave me this last little screw you: neon green dish soap all over my trunk and deep into the carpet." Stay away unless you are going to be in the back and watch them.

SunTint was recommended to us by one of our friends so we thought we'd check them out. They were happy to work with us to figure out the best tint for the color of our car and also considering that someday we might move out of TX. They weren't very busy on the day we visited so our 2-door coupe was tinted in about 90 minutes. Very easy and painless like it should be. Price was very reasonable and the quality of workmanship looks good to my untrained eye.

i called around to get pricing for tint on my car and found sun tint to be pretty much comparable to everyone else, and with the coupon here on citysearch, i saved $20 to boot. i talked with them regarding the % of tint since i am in the process of moving to another state where the laws are different. they were very helpful and assisted me in getting the correct tint so that i wouldn't have a problem in the other state. i made an appointment for that afternoon and they were ready to take my car the minute i got there. they also finished the tinting in less time than they alloted for me and then spent a little bit of time going over the care instructions to make sure i would be happy with my tint for years to come. i'm very happy with the service and with the product and won't hesitate to recommend sun tint to anyone who might ask. thanks!

They went way above and beyond the normal amount of customer service normally expected for a business. They installed ClearShield on my MX-5 exceeding the factory cut-out with additional custom work on the fenders, hood, and mirrors. Outstanding workmanship. They also tinted the side and back windows. If you are looking for ClearShield installation and window tint, this the best place in Austin...look no further. Great people, great price, and great workmanship!

Today, I had two more Hyundai sedans tinted here. I live in Bastrop County and did extensive online searching for a reputable quality tint shop. The reviews convinced me the 100-mi round-trip would be well worth the time and effort. Later, I found out they have clients as far away as Galveston, Dallas, and San Antonio who come here to Sun Tint on Burnet Rd for their tint and clear-coat work! Friendly people, outstanding service and workmanship, quality materials, and the best prices -- Sun Tint simply has no equal in Central Texas, if anywhere. Three vehicles and I'm convinced: Sun tint is the "only" tint shop in "my book"!

I had my CRV tinted there. They did an amazing job. I was so impressed with everyone. I went back a couple of weeks later and had the Clear Shield Paint Protection put on too. Once again the service was wonderful. This time they picked my CRV up from work because they had to reshedule for the following day. This is the 2nd car we've had tinted there. I've recommended them to friends and they've been impressed too. If only all places had such great customer service. I highly recommend Sun Tint. You will not be dissapointed.

The best Tint job experience I have ever had. I come from a smaller town and like the service of a hometown place. I received that and much more. The staff was incredibly helpful with informing me of the various types of film and thier reccomendations for my specific needs and vehicle. They also happend to be extremley friendly! The price quoted was the same no extra charges! they also had my car done in the time they quoted! Im no idiot I shopped around and for thier quality they do have the best prices in Austin! They have a Quality Care concept where they go over your tint job with you for a final inspection and ask you to bring your vehicle in for another inspection in a week or so. The staff went the extra distance for me everytime! I have taken 3 cars thier and have told all my friends, Everyone I know has had a Great Experience!

The professionalism and service given at Sun Tint was beyond compare. They installed ClearShield on our Corvette and did an absolutely excellent job (with many extras they didn't even charge us for). But beyond the actual work, they also explained every detail of what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Then, once the work was done (which was on time as promised), they walked us through what they did - again explaining all the fine details. Lastly, they have an excellent maintenance plan (no cost) to keep the ClearShield in tip-top shape should any pealing or wax buildup occur over time. The installation also comes with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty for that extra piece of mind. They did such a great job and were such likeable people, we're going back very shortly for window tinting. Their staff was made up of some of the friendliest folks around and they seemed genuinely appreciative of our business and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the work they performed. My wife and I give them our highest recommendation.

After getting the clear bra (paint protection) on my car, I completely recommend Sun Tint. After having a bad experience with another shop I took my car to Sun Tint and I couldn?t be happier. They are very professional and most of all did such a great job I just wanted to make sure people know what a great shop this is. I know people mostly write complaints, BUT after dealer with Sun Tint I wanted to take the time to recommend them.

I had Sun Tint tint the windows of my '88 Jeep in 1989. For 17 years I had no problems except for slight fading. This past year the film began to ripple on some of the windows. I found my receipt, took it in, and they scheduled me for the next day. They completely re-tinted all the windows - no questions asked. Very courteous and friendly staff. They stand behind their work!

I am extremely happy with the results. The rear window of my vehicle has what is referred to, as a "dot" matrix, and is very difficult to tint. The tint professionals recommended a vinyl black mat, and it was the perfect solution. Not only did they do a good job, they were professional, curtious, and I will recommend anyone and already have. They also provide detailing and other services and would recommend them to take care of it all. Thank you goes out to the owner and staff.

I found these guys on citysearch and they didnt dissapoint. The service was great and the price was more than reasonable for what you get. I asked about custom work and they had a guy who not only did good work, but was very reasonably priced. I would definately recommend checking these guys out before you go to just any window tinting place.

I was recommended to Sun Tint by a friend of mine and he was right they were great! I bought a used car and it had that ugly purple, peeling, home done tint on the windows. I couldn't get it off myself & I really wanted new tint (with the Weather here!). Sun Tint was friendly & informative! They went to work immediatly on my problem while I waited! The atmosphere was warm & friendly, they even have a big furry friendly dog to keep you company! They finished the Job and the new tint made my car look NEW!! I am so happy I went there & I thought I'd share it with everyone!

Sun Tint did an awesome job on my windows...my concern was that the window tinting on the front two windows matched the privacy glass that came on the rest of the windows and Sun Tint matched it to a "T"...I'm happy with the tenting and Russell and the crew at Sun Tint are great with customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone...my company has even had Sun Tint come out to see about helping us with tinting our front windows...

Sun Tint did an excellent job in tinting my car windows. I was so surprised at how much UVA rays were shielded after the job. My car looks like new!! Everyone comments on how great it looks. and the best part is that my role was so simple. Russell and his crew treated me great. They are a respectable, efficient and friendly team.
