WOW!!!!! If you haven't been by the flea market lately, you should go check it out. Lots of new covered vendor spaces outside along with more restrooms for customer convenience. Grand opening on Sunday,,October 30th. Free drinks and hot dogs for everyone while supplies last. Also, the exterior has a new facelift and landscaping now.

corporate really needs to take a closer look at what reaally goes on there. a manager that only makes an appearance occasionally to steal money out of the safe, her father who was terminated by corporate is still working taking venders rent and is getting paid under the table. her mother manages the snack bar and treats her employees horribly. nepotism at its worst!

i totally agree with the comment from #6. they over price thier booyhs and they wont give you enough unless yoou have been there for like alot years. i was once once a vender and with as many vendors there is have the time you cant even get your space rent paid and then if u fall behind one week they take all your stuff without even asking. so i donteven think they should even get one star so therefore you do not get one. the only reason u got one is cause i had too

I started a website called RillaBay that i thought the vendors at the T Anchor would find useful, so i went inside the T Anchor. I found the atmosphere to be exactly the same as the flea market i went to when i was a child. I dont know what that guys problem is down to the bottom of this page, but i thing he is illiterate himself seeing that he doesnt even know how to spell recommend.
The place was as clean as it can be considering the traffic that goes thru the building.
I had no trouble with the vendors. I stopped and talked to some of them to give them a business card for my website, and they were cheerful and attentive not to mention businesslike. I never found one person to be disrespectful to me or any of their hundreds of other customers.
I went with my family and they all enjoyed the looking around and bartering with the sellers. We will go back.

I live in Austin and went to Amarillo this weekend. I liked the watch repairman there. I left 4 watches with him to repair. I believe his name is Jose Rivera. Many people were speaking highly of the work he has done to their watches. I purchased a few dolls from his wife who share the space. I love it! He was also able to change the battery of my watch - saving me a trip to Walmart. I support flea market wherever I go. I rather support a vendor outside of a mall or another store.

The T-Anchor Flea Market Rocks! There seems to be no end to the wares, booths, foods and hospitality. With the economy the way it is this is the perfect place to find things at bargain prices. They vend new, used and unusual items that you just couldn't find anywhere else. The building is huge and even host just as many booths outside as well as a pony ride for the kids, a dollar tent and fresh fruits and vegetables. Its free to go, you can stock up on lots of items, and just plain lots of fun. I love treasure hunting and this is this best place I have been to so far and am biting at the bit to return to start Christmas shopping. Don't expect to find the mall atmosphere. Its a flea market and a darn good one!

I like it; the place isn't bad. I love the food and variety of things they sell. It can range from a CD to a pony ride. pretty cool huh? what else could we ask for from a flea market? It's the best one I've ever been to. Pretty cheap stuff, this coming from a wtamu student who finds it very convenient.:)

T-Anchor flea market has one of the widest varieties of merchandise that you can find with items ranging from brand new to garage sale quality. The other author's comments about the staff were completely unfounded. The staff that is currently there has over 60 years combined experience. The food is prepared in a clean environment consistent with local health codes. I've eaten in the snack bar for almost eleven years on a weekly basis and have always found the food to be very tasty and served piping hot! I have been a vendor there for eleven years (and a customer for over 20 years) offering new merchandise that is identical to the mall kiosks at a fraction of the mall cost and I must say the staff, management, and CUSTOMERS of T-Anchor Flea Market have been very good to me. My name is Bob Smith and I own Purses Plus.
Finally, our customers are our best asset and they range from all walks of life. Alot of the regular customers just come out to meet and walk around with their friends. 3000 or more people a weekend can't be wrong!

A simply awful place. Nasty, smelly, overcrowded, junky. These are a few of the words that come to mind 5 minutes after you have went in the door. There are about 350 vendors there, when there actually should be about 150. They are stuffed like sardines. You can tell that the owners are far more concerned about the amount of rent they take in, than the quality of their establishment. Parking is terrible, with huge craters in the parking lot. There is no sense of order when parking, with cars shooting everywhere and going in every direction. They have an outdoors area and the further north you go, the more you can smell the stench of porta potties they have set up on the north end. The merchandise for the most part is total crap. Stuff you wouldnt even sell in a garage sale. The staff of the place is very rude and appears very illiterate. It reminds me of the chicken fights they used to have at Clovis behind the railroad tracks. Same mentality of people worked there too. Food is rancid and prepared in a very unclean manner. They have only one set of restrooms in the entire building and they are on one corner of the building and are very unclean and stink horribly. Before I would reccomend going here, I would say go to the dump and look around. The same merchandise and better parking...

This place is pretty neat. With all the booths you can find just about ANYTHING you are looking for. The is also a dounut place that makes them right there for you. You have to try the fruit place. Everything is fresh and some of the best fruit I have had. Make sure to get coconut in it too.
