I had a great experience with this shop. I kind of let my car go. When I went to them I got a list problems but they worked with me to fix what had to be done/what I could afford and worked down the list from there.

I've been using Advanced Auto Repair for over 2 years and I'd like to say this is one of the most honest shops I've ever been to. I trust them completely.
One of the things I particularly like is that they keep an eye on my auto so I don't have to worry about being stranded somewhere. My auto is a 1997 Rodeo with plenty of good miles left in it. Every time I go in for an oil change or a repair, these guys go over it with a fine tooth comb. They use very sophisticated equipment that finds problems other shops sometimes miss. I find that very reassuring.
They always give me a detailed report of what they found... they tell me what is critical (if anything) to fix now... and what they are keeping their eye on to make sure I can feel confident in my travels. It's good to know an honest mechanical repair shop and I've recommended them to my friends.
Pros: They provide a free ride to home or work & back.

Our first experience at Advanced Auto Repair was less than satisfactory. Tommy learned of our problem and SET EVERYTHING RIGHT, giving us a full refund and thorough explanation of the services and charges in question. We are so touched that he WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure everyone who visits his shop has a GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Thanks again Tommy. We were wrong to lump your business in with all the other shady auto repair shops we've had the displeasure of doing business with. You are truly an outstanding business owner and we will happily bring any future business directly to you.

Advanced Auto Repair is the only shop to service my car. The manager is professional and very knowledgeable. They are always thorough in explaining the repairs that are needed on my car, and they point out which repairs are vital and which are maintenance. They are also great at saving me money (like the time Chuck told me about a safety recall, which had not been performed yet). After they finished my tune-up and changing my belts, they took my car to the dealership, and had the recall completed while I was at work. I was not charged anything extra for their time. Advanced Auto is reasonably priced, a bargain really for the services they provide. I have not been to another auto shop since. The mechanics are great! More than capable, honest, and realistically priced--everything one looks for in a mechanic.
