A little out of my way, but well worth my trouble for the smile that ensues after biting into the most glorious apricot fruit tart.
I've only been here once, to get a gift for my sister, and ended up treating myself- I highly recommend this place!

Vans has a great selection of fresh food. If you want something off the menu, they will fix it for you and it will be great. Unfortunately the wait staff has been there too long and they are not very friendly or attentive. The tiny crowed restaurant also needs a makeover of the dining area. If you are just looking for very good food, good wine selection, Vans is very good for lunch

Wonderful service, average menu item $10, nice selection of chinese, japanese and vietnamese.
Cloth table clothes covered by glass, clean and neat.
Wait staff more than happy to explain dishes and make recommendations based upon what type ingredients you like.
Very nice sushi selection.
PROS: Something for everyone, be it Chinese, Japanese or Vietnamese
