We have been a client for over 20 years. Moved to Florida and would call Dr. Jan from time to time for second opinions.
We moved back to Texas and live an hour away - we tried other Animal Clinics for even just basics, but were never happy. I drive an hour each way just to go to Club Hill.
In 40 years of using Animal Clinics only two places stand out and to us there is one else for us except Dr. Jan and Club Hill for us..

My pug had a very bad seizer and couldn't move her front arms, or hold her head up. Dr. Jan took Bailey home with her at night, while she
was in that state. We came everyday to see her, and when we came in, calling first of course, we always got to hold her and visit with her. She's home now, and can hold her head up and walk. Little wobbly yet, but she's home and right back to being our Bailey, like nothing happened. Adam is really good, and Dr. Jan is the best!

I've read all these wonderful reviews (and some not-so-wonderful), and I'm astonished that no one has given any love to the techs! Dr. Jan is a wonderful vet, but when I bring my pets in, most of my time is spent with the technicians, who are FANTASTIC! The one who shines above all is Adam, who is always there with all the facts and comforting words. No matter what, I can always count on my Adam to answer any questions I have. I know he and the other techs have made a huge impact on other clients and their pets. So I say WHERE'S THE LOVE FOR THE TECHS?!

Haha, it is hilarious how nieve people are, only look at the outside instead of whats inside. I worked for Dr. DeWitt for over a year, the whole time I worked there, she treated her staff terrible, she doesnt care because she knows that she can get away with whatever, that is that dr God mentality I guess. She does not vaccinate all of the pets that come in for vaccinations, but yet she does still charge for it. Ask yourself this, how many times have you gone into Club Hill Animal Clinic, and left asking yourself, did she give the vaccination? I dont remember seeing her give it, to which the staff replies ( which this is what dr. d tells the staff to say) "sometimes we just get to talking and I do it so fast that the owner doesnt see me do it." Sorry to inform you Clients, but you are being made a fool, because she really isnt giving them, plenty of her staff have seen it. BTW she does only care about the money obviously. The story about her leaving dead animals on the machine is true, she does it all the time so she can charge more for time spent. I quit on my own, so this is not a pissed fired employ i quit after finding out what a horrible person she is. She also didnt pay me my last check after quitting, what a great person she is.

If you're looking for a wonderful vet, this is the right place. Dr. Jan Dewitt is wonderful and really loves the animals she treats. We have used her for many many years and have now moved away from the Garland area to Grand Prairie, however, if one of our babies has a problem that allows the time to drive over, we drive back to see Jan. We trust her and knows she gives our babies the best attention possible.

Dr. DeWitt has been our vet for 25 years; and 6 fur people. She is a God send. Stays current on her medicine and gives 100 % of her love to the patient and its parents. Yes, she has taken our dog home, stayed all night with a very sick little dog and comforted us by calling with progress reports. Cannot imagine ever having another vet. Our animals love the staff and the attention they received on each visit. Club Hill is a 10+. Her waiting room is full of people who come from all over the city for her care.

I absolutely cherish Dr. Jan. When my old hound Duke went into seizures a few years back, I rushed him in. She stopped what she was doing and tended to him, stabilizing him. She put him in the hospital and, of all things, stayed with him all night, sleeping on a cot beside his kennel! Who, tell me who, in the world would ever do that?? She is so considerate of his needs, being an old guy with bad legs and in kidney failure. Duke doesn't like many people, but he lets Dr. Jan do whatever she needs to do with/for him. She is the vet for all six of my dogs and I simply cannot imagine ever leaving her. Most of her staff are great, too. Dr. Jan is a true gift to the animals. She has wonderful stories and anecdotes, too!

I would drive across town to see Dr. DeWitt, luckily I don' have to. We have been going to her for about 4 years now. She is most caring, helpful vet I have ever used. Her staff is helpful, courteous and professional. I will never go anywhere else. The services are reasonably priced and they don't try to gouge you with unneeded services, like another area vet I have used in the past.

I have 2 extremely difficult dogs who fight tooth and nail going to the vet, and I had tried unsuccessfully to use several other vets in the area. Dr. Jan and her staff with smiles on their faces put up with my difficult dogs and never stop trying to win them over. I don't know what I would do without Club Hill Animal Clinic!!!

I can not say enough about the love my boston bull got this last week from Dr.Jan and her staff,Boodles was very sick and if it had'nt been for Dr.Jan I'm afraid I would have lost her.Everyone did so much and took such good care of her and you knew it was from the heart, even after she came home I got calls checking on how she was doing, less than a week after she came home I had to take her back to be boarded a few days while I was out of town, you would have though she was a kid coming home ,they were all glad to see her, knowing she is in such good hands makes leaving her alot easier, plus she was ready to go when I said "Lets go see Dr.Jan ".Again i can't say enough about all of the caring staff at Club Hill Animal Clinic

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Jan! For 13 years now, both of my sets of my grandparents, as well as my parents, and now my family all go to Dr. Jan for their babies. I don't know how she does it, but she remembers EVERY patient she has. A few years ago, my dog, whom Dr. Jan had been taking care of since a puppy, became very sick with cancer. When she gave us the diagnosis, she was crying too! She loves those animals just like they were her own. Five stars is simply not enough for how wonderful and caring this woman is. Even better, she is the most honest vet I have ever met. She will tell you exactly what your pet does, and more importantly, DOESN'T need. She has never killed us with prices, or tried to sell us on every new product! She is more than willing to give advice, and listen to your concerns. A+++

I started going to Dr.Dewitt soon after I had a bad experience with a vet on centerville that cut off part of my Maltese babies ear, what a nightmare!!!! So needless to say I was a bit worried about going to another vet, but I was so surprised when I got home all I did was talk about how wonderful DR. Dewitt and the staff , I was very impressed about the professionalism and how much love and care I saw in this Dr,and staff. When my daughter feel on my female Maltese wounding her leg it was a Monday night at 6:52 , I knew it was closing time but I thought I would try, Yes, they did answer the phone and told me to come on in , when Dr,Dewitt saw her she took her right in and knowing that she was in pain , gave her some gas to put her under so she could examine her without her being in anymore pain. then when she had her pups and developed an infection, it was on a Sunday night before I notice that she wasn't acting like herself, first thing on Monday I took her in and Dr.DEWITT. told me she needed an emergency operation, she postponed another one to take care of my baby , she told me to go home that she would call me soon as she was out of danger. She did call to let me know that all was well and she was doing fine, I was so relieved and very impressed about the love and care this Dr. demonstrates , its as if they are her on pets, she understands that these are my babies not just pets. That's worth a the money in the world to me. I just cant say enough about this great woman. she is truly a blessing. I hope she never retires. the staff is great , when you go in you can feel the caring, personable , attitude. and it makes you feel comfortable right from the start. I WILL NEVER GO ANY WHERE ELSE !!! Five STARS AREN'T ENOUGH. THANKS FOR GREAT VETS LIKE DR. Dewitt

I had recently moved from Baton Rouge, LA and was in need of a vet. I was dreading this daunting task as both of my dogs HATE going (as most of them do). When Dr. Jan and her staff walked in, they cared for my pets unlike any other vet clinic has before. They made my animals (and me!) feel so comfortable and you can tell that they truly care about animals. Now neither me or my dogs dread going to the vet. Thanks Dr. Jan!!!!!!!

Dr. Jan & her staff are truly amazing. My chi mix, Roo, was very ill and I had taken her to an animal hospital close to my house after hours - which was a mistake - a few visits and contradictory information later - I decided it was time to go to our "regular vet" for a her opinion. I took the records & x-rays to the appointment on a Saturday, she did another x-ray and more blood work to see if anything had changed, she gave me some Rimadyl and a shot of Prednisone in the worst hip - Roo's leg muscles had started to atrophy and Dr. Jan gave me some exercises to do with Roo. She sent the x-rays to a collegue for her opinion. Dr. Jan called me Sunday when she received the lab work to check on Roo. Roo's blood count was so low she shouldn't have still been alive. She started Roo on antibiotics and prednisone. Roo had a blood disorder and the steroids helped keep her blood count in line most of the time. Roo began walking on her hind legs again - although she never fully gained back the muscle mass she had lost - she lived and became the happy active dog she had once been. She had good days and bad days, but fortunately seemed to have more good days. Sadly, I came home late one night to find Roo curled up in her bed - we were able to say goodbye, I love you just before she slipped away. I owe the years we did have with Roo to Dr. Jan - she was our miracle.Thankfully they have expanded the waiting area. It was definitely needed. Even with a full waiting area - you don't have to wait a long time.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS VET FOR ALMOST 20 YRS NOW AND I AM ONLY IN MY 30'S. SHE IS SO DEDICATED TO HER PATIENTS. SHE WILL TAKE THEM HOME IF CRITICALLY ILL AND WILL NEVER TURN SOMEONE AWAY. THEY RECENTLY EXPANDED THE CLINIC TO 2X THE SIZE AND SEE ABOUT 3 PATIENTS EVERY SINGLE 15 MINUTES. THEY DO SURGERY OF EVERY KIND MON THRU FRIDAY AND SOMETIMES EMERGENCY SURGERY ON SATURDAYS. THERE IS NO LIMIT OF WHAT THIS VET WON'T DO. YOU CAN BE SEEN ALMOST ANY TIME. JUST AVOID SUSAN UP FRONT. SHE'S NO FUN!

My cats are very special to me. When one got sick I wasn't sure where to go. A friend recommened this clinic. They promptly saw my cat and she didn't get scared of them. They were kind to her. Gave her a shot and liquid meds. Two weeks later she still was sick. The vet recomended changing her food, and that made all the difference. Now she is healthy and happy. They were so patient with me.

Club Hill Animal Clinic is a small veterinary office on Broadway Blvd. The number of patients on any given day shows the dedication patients have here. The waiting area is small. The parking even smaller. But the care inside is limitless. Patients are seen by appointment, but emergency cases are not turned away. A friendly staff is evidence of the love these animal care providers have for our four legged friends. An in-clinic cat sits atop the counter greeting patients signing in. This little fella has the tip of one foot missing. Upon inquiry, we learned he is loved and belongs to the vet inside. A comfortable haven for man and beast.

Dr. DeWitt and her staff have continually given us (and our total of 6 cats over the years) the best and most caring of

Haha, it is hilarious how nieve people are, only look at the outside instead of whats inside. I worked for Dr. DeWitt for over a year, the whole time I worked there, she treated her staff terrible, she doesnt care because she knows that

A friend referred me to this vet years ago, and yes despite the many people in the waiting area, I have not regretted going there one time. She is great with the animals and their owners. Tells you everything that is going on with your pet. She has taken my cat that was very sick home with her so it could get round the clock care. Ever heard of another vet doing that? She has saved another one of my cats at least 3 times (he likes to get in fights), and she has had to put down 3 of my animals that were beyond saving and each time she was very compassionate and acted like they were all HER own. Didnt even ask for payment on each occasion because she knows how upsetting it is for the owner so she just lets you leave afterwards and pay later. She definitely doesnt do what she does for the money, you can tell this lady just loves all animals. I dred the day when she retires, because I will NEVER find another one like her. As for the disgruntled employees, are any of us ever satisfied with our boss?

Pros: great doctor, nice staff,

Cons: alot of clients, but thats cuz Dr Jan rocks

i agree to this comment. dr dewitt is a great vet but a horrible employer. she can make you feel about 2 inches tall after yelling at you for someone else's mistakes. there has been several incidents where she would not vaccinate older dogs. my boyfriend worked as kennel help, he would see her "give" their shot and charge the customer. another time a dog passed away and no one called the owner until the clinic was closing, she put the dog on a monitor to look like she was working on the animal. i working for dr dewitt for 7 months and i can see why she goes through alot of staff.

I was employed by Dr. Jan Dewitt for 5 months. I only left becuase of a very severe dog attack that had left my face partialy paralyzed. While I was an employee, I was harrassed about my sexuality, and even publicy critized. She was abusive to me several times. There was an instance where there was a dog unable to breathe and was basicly choking on his won tongue. I was unable to help and she pushed me out of the examination room as hard as she possibly could. granted, i am a man..She has a temper that does show in front of customers. She has lost a good employee and a loyal customer. Oh, and not to mention after the severe dog attack..She refused to pay any of the medical bills..Although it happened becuase of her lack of observation. It took me almost sueing her to even get a cent from her....The truth has been told.

Stop looking for a Vet for your favorite friend..........Dr. Jan Dewitt if truly the most experienced, professional and down to earth Vet I have ever met. She is extremely compassionate about her practice, and one visit and you will know your loved one is in good hands!!! Yes, they are busy most of the time, but they have never kept us waiting for long. I have had many Vets in my time...she is the first I have completely trusted with my dogs. I have Multiple Sclerosis and spend all day with elder doberman, Dudley, Hailey, a Jack Russell Terrier, her son Skeeter. We have a new addition, Lucy, a recently found Beagle. They are all part of my family.
When I got Hailey from the pound, she had lots of health problems. To add to it, she gave birth to 2 little
puppies. (I didn't know she was pregnant). The puppies were severely congested, premature and more. Really a miracle if they them lived...Dr. Dewitt gave me hope and no negative responses. With them under her care, we now have Skeeter.
By the way, my best friend, Brigitte, referred me to her. She had 3 Pugs loved Dr. Dewitt too!!! Another reason to she her is you get a detailed sheet on what she did, what the owner said and treatment for the animal you have. Nothing to remember about the visit....it is written down for you.
The second reason is the fantastic staff. Seems they are definately there for their love of the job. Working with animals all day long takes a special talent and they all have it. Huge thanks to them all.

Dudley, Hailey, Skeeter and Lucy

I have used Dr Dewitt for 15 years maybe a little longer. I had a min pin who to say the least was constantly into one thing or another. She was always so patient caring and loving to him. He was a difficult one. When at the age of 14 he became very ill , it was Jan whom helped me decide it was the best to not do more extensive procedures to prolong the suffering. I have to say this was one of if not the most difficult thing to have to do, for both my husband, children and I. She was there via phone and with pain releivers to help with his comfort.which helped his last days end painlessly at home with his loved ones. I cannot say enough about the compassion this woman has for our pet children. My daughter worked for her several summers when not in school as a volunteer and always loved being at the clinic. Dr. Dewitt has inspired her to persue a career in Vetrinary medicine as well. I have had several rescue animals that I have fostered and adopted out and she is the hands down best price in town. She does not gouge your wallett with little extras to pad the bill. My impression is that if not for the operating cost and her need to pay bills she would do this for nothing, SHE IS THAT CARING. I have told my husband that I will not move very far with our animals. I am positive I could never find another vet as kind as her. I am not the only one who believes so. I work in Carrollton and have many friends and coworkers who travel a good bit of distance to only see her and have repeatedly thanked me for the referrals. Thanks Dr Dewitt you make it possible to provide and afford the highest quality of care for our pet children.

I recently moved to Garland, Texas from Denton, Texas. I loved my vet in Denton, but it wasn't realistic to commute the long distance to stay with him. A friend of my referred me to Club Hill Animal Clinic. I have taken by children in to see Dr. DeWitt a few times now, and I really enjoy her treatment of pets. She speaks to them in a gentle kind voice; she explains everything to me in detail so I understand. Her bedside manner incredible. I am very grateful for finding her. I know my children are in the best of care when they are with her.

I have used Dr. Dewitt for about 4 yrs now and from the very first day I went there I was so impressed with her and the staff , I came home and all I did was sing praises of her . It was the most professional , caring ,experience I had ever had at a vets office, I could tell how much she loves and cares about all the animals. I have taken all of my Maltese puppies there, and she and all the staff just thought they were adorable, as did everyone in the lobby, When my daughter went out to play with the mother dog and got tripped and feel on her leg I knew something was very wrong and it was already 6:52 almost closing time, but I thought I would try anyway , and yes they did answer the phone and told me to come in even though they would be closing in less than 10 minutes, I was shocked other vets I have been to wouldnt have answered the phone much less told me to come on in, when I got there the staff was waiting for her and took her right on in and Dr. Dewitt seeing that she was in pain gave her some gas to put her under so she could examine her leg without her being in pain. I was so surprised and grateful because I cant stand the thought of her being in pain, and after she had her litter of pups she developed an infection , by the time I noticed that she wasnt acting like herself it was on a sunday night. so first thing on monday I took her in and Dr.Dewitt told me that her had to have emergency operation , her postponed another operation to take care of my baby because it was a very serious infection, she said she would call me soon as she was done to go home and try not to worry. She called me right when she said and let me know everything was okay. I cant say enough great things about this fabulous doctor, except JUST CANT GET BETTER THAN HER . The prices are great , once I had to write a post dated check for a couple of days and that really helped, DR.DEWitt really loves and cares for animals , not just your money. THANKS FOR BEING SO GREAT

I used to work for Dr Dewitt, for the time I worked for her I brought my pets into her and she took exceptionally good care of them. Yes, her lobby is crowded but that is because of her success of being such a good Vet. I would recommend anybody in the Dallas area to go to her because she is caring and very professional. Her staff if exceptionally caring too. Their knowledge of animals is higher than I have seen any where. And the cost of seeing your babies are actually the best I have seen. I was very happy with the way she took care of my babies and everybody elses. she is a VERY compassionate and VERY thorough. She always gets to the source of illness and problems. If I was still in the Dallas area I would still bring my babies to her.

Had to say goodbye to an old friend Saturday. Thirteen years is a long time. It was a hard decision, but one that had to be made. She had reached a point where walking was painful and I even think I saw confusion in her eyes. We will miss her thunderous bark and the tiny nudge when it was time to go outside. She was tolerant of guests but guarded our home as a soldier defending a post. She will truly be missed having held a valued place in our family for many years. "Last call" at our house will never be the same. We love you Brandy!
Dr. DeWitt and the staff of Club Hill were exceptional. They were professional as well as compassionate. Genuine concern - we thank you for that. You people are truly a blessing.
Sincerely,
Shaun & Cathy Alphin

We actually have our dog in boarding there right now. Our dog doesn' t like too many people but she loves the staff at Club Hill. We got her when she was a puppy and after we brought her home, our two boys put her on the top bunk of their bunk bed with them. (I know, I know). The next thing we heard was her yelping and the boys screaming for us. She had jumped off of the bed. (They told us they didn't know puppies could jump, since human babies can't really to anything they didn' t think she could either). We rushed her to Club Hill and she had a bad break in one of her legs. She had to have surgery and they were so loving and helpful. And yes, they do accept credit cards as we learned that day. We have taken her there for boarding and check ups since, however I decided to take her to another place over Memorial weekend for boarding, trying to save a few $'s. Big mistake! She came home with a million fleas. We will never go to another vet again. As for the person who lost their puppy, I am sorry about the puppy, but the reason our dog is being boarded over the weekend is because we are leaving Monday morning to go on vacation and they told me I might not want to wait until then because just like at the human dr's office, all the sick animals and emergencies from the weekend come in Monday a.m. and it is chaotic trying to see appts as well as walk ins that need to be seen. It is much better now that they have expanded though.

In my 51 years I have had many animals; horses, cats, dogs and tropical fish all of which have seen a vet at some point in time. I have lived in Berkeley Hills, California, all over the Dallas area; Dr. DeWitt and her staff are the most caring, professional, all with an excellent bed side manner!
I have gone to Dr. Dewitt for the last 9 years starting with my 2 (11 year old) Rotts, who were very hard to handle but grew to love her, she saw us through their natural passing. I now have 3 adults and 6 pups (again all Rotts); her staff via cell phone talked us through their very difficult birth. Dr DeWitt personally nursed one of the babies, over Thanksgiving at her house, over Parvo and help us to keep it from 8 other dogs. This woman it a saint, the review below is just wrong!! Maybe it was so hectic because everyone thinks so much of her and the staff!!!!!!!!!!

Like many I have seen dr. Dewitt for many years. My dogs are my babies and she understands that. She is the only vet i know that comes in and says hi and loves on the animals before she says hi to me. Haha She has been there for me many times. I had one little dog that the neighbors dog ripped into. She immediately took her in and did everthing she could to save her. When she came in and told me they couldnt save her I could tell it meant as much to her as it did me. My little baby recently got ahold of some chocolate When i brought him in he was on the verge of death, hypertherma had already set in. Once again immediatlely took him in. She stayed all night with my baby. Called me often and updated me. If it wasnt for her compassion and love for animals my little ricky roo wouldnt be here. So I will always and forever take my babies here.

I, too, have taken my pets to Dr. DeWitt for years, 15 I estimate. Many of my friends and acquaintances have followed my advice to take their pets to her for treatment and/or evaluation. Never have I heard a response to that advise but thanks. Those referrals are still taking their pets to Dr. DeWitt unless they have moved from the DFW area, have no pets at the present or they, the humans, have crossed the rainbow bridge. Yes, sometimes I have to wait according to the circumstances beyond anyone's control. Ditto to that being the same condition at my human doctor's office, especially when baby's decide to be born. Many times, especially during cold/flu season, I wish the human doctors would ask the contagious to go outside the building and if the weather were a problem maybe they should be told to sit in the car with their heaters/ac on for confort. I am certain my animals' conditions have made others wait because Dr. DeWitt has always taken the amount of time needed to provide the best treatment for them with genuine caring and compassion. I have always appreciated the way Dr. DeWitt has treated me with respect and dignity in my most concerned moments. The staff at the front desk? They are tremendous. Only if someone takes to time to look do they see. Each on of us in there wants instant gratification be it to run in to pick up RXs, special food, boarded animals, visit sick animals, pay a bill, call in with a question or see the good Dr. I know from experience they arrive early and stay late. True, you may have to wait your turn, there is no glass window to shut you out, but you are given their undivided attention when your turn comes. Maybe, only those of us that have worked with the public can understand the great job they do. The icing on the cake is that Dr. DeWitt's fees are usually in line if not less . The Dr. and Staff have gone above & beyond for me and mine. THEY ARE THE BEST!

I HAD TO GO TO THIS WEBSITE TO GET THEIR ADDRESS. I NOTICED THE PREVIOUS REVIEW AND I HAVE TO SAY: WE HAVE BEEN TAKING OUR PETS TO DR. DEWITT FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. WE HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL VETS IN THE PAST AND WOULD RECOMMEND CLUB HILL ANIMAL CLINIC TO ALL. IN FACT, I HAVE INTRODUCED SEVERAL FRIENDS AND THEY ARE AS PLEASED AS I AM WITH THE FACILITY AND STAFF. BETWEEN MY PETS AND FRIENDS PETS = MORE THAN 10 PATIENTS OF DR DEWITT.

I DO FEEL BAD FOR THE OWNER OF THE SICK PUPPY. THIS IS AN ANIMAL CLINIC AND JUST LIKE A HUMAN DOCTORS OFFICE; YOU HAVE TO WAIT. MAYBE NEXT TIME HAVE THE PUPPY CHECKED OUT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE IT.

THANKS TO DR DEWITT AND STAFF FOR LOVING OUR PETS

I recently visited this vet hospital on an emergency basis. I had just purchased a puppy over the weekend and he got really sick. I called and made an appt for him to be seen first thing Monday morning. We arrived about 5 minutes early and the lobby was complete chaos! Loud noises, people with LARGE dogs NOT on leashes and letting them run wherever, and 3 receptionists in the front that could care less about acknowledging you until they were good and ready.

I had my little puppy wrapped up in a small towel because it was early morning and cold and he was VERY sick. We thought he was going to die. I was a wreck and very scared for him so I approached someone at the desk, even tho they hadn't asked to help me yet and told them I was a new client and what did I need to do. They told me to sign in and I did. I sat down and kept having to push away other peopls dogs because my pupp was scared and sick and didn't want to be bothered. Finally, after about 30 minutes of waiting {and 30 minutes AFTER my appt was suppose to start} one of the receptionists called me to the desk and started asking me about why I was there. When I explained to her what had been going on, she told me we had to go outside because my puppy might be contagious. So, we went outside and she asked more questions, then told me that we had to wait outside! WHAT??? I have a very sick dog and it was really windy and cold and I have to wait outside??? There were empty rooms inside they could have let us wait in but we had to wait outside in the cold.

I waited outside for about 20 more minutes and watched people come in and leave that came in WAY after me so I got a little mad and went back inside. I stood there and they completely ignored me until I finally asked when we were going to be seen and why we couldn't wait inside in one of the empty rooms? They looked stupified and couldn't/didn't answer my questions. I asked a walking by tech when we would be seen since the front desk wasn't answering me and he said he didn't know and kept walking. We are now going on almost an hour AFTER we were suppose to have been seen - and this was our FIRST time to this place with a VERY sick puppy!

They finally let me wait in the empty room and closed the door. I understand that they didn't want any of the dogs to get sick if my puppy had what they thought, but they completely ignored me and the disregard for the well-being of my pupp was disgusting! I finally had enough and opened the door and stood there, holding this tiny little puppy that was literally on his deathbed and staring at the front desk personnel until someone finally came into the room. Meanwhile, I watched person after person come into that clinic and leave before we were even seen. Is this how you treat a first time client? especially one with a very needy and sick puppy? An hour and 15 minutes AFTER our appt time, a vet's assistant came in to see us. She looked the pupp over and gave me the worst news but something I was expecting to hear. This poor little angel was going to die. He was just too sick and couldn't hold on anymore. I cried listening to what she had to say and then took my poor little angel home so I could take him back to the breeder.

But after all this, the more I thought about it... the more angry I became at the treatment we received from this establishment and I felt that this needed to be said here for anyone else looking at new vet's. This vet's office is complete chaos. No one there really cares about the animals, as evidence by the way my poor little pupp and I were treated as new patients there. This place had to be the absolute WORST vet hospital I have ever been to! I will continue to make the 120 mile drive to east Texas to take my other yorkie to an actual good vet!

AVOID Club Hill at all cost if you care about your pets well-being!

Pros: nothing

Cons: loud, lobby is complete chaos, receptionists could care less
