The massive appeal of Dick's is hard to put your finger on. We don't know if it's the wacky tacky decor, the sometimes sassy service, or the bountiful buckets of fabulous food. We do know the food's hot, the beer's cold and if the music's too loud you're too old. That's right, we're Dick's where it's fun for all, all in fun for all that dare to enter. Check out our Party Pkgs-like the Bachelorette Party - For only $16.99 per person, your choice of 1/2 lb. Drunken Peel 'n Eat Shrimp, 1/2 Honey Roasted or BBQ Chicky, 1/2 Slab BBQ Pork Ribs, Chicky Caesar Salad, Roadhouse Chicky Salad, Mae West (2 lg. Chicky Breast). At no extra charge for the bride: special cake, Real Women Love Dick's T-Shirt, special "BJ" shot, I Love Dick's Bumper Sticker, Kodak single use camera. Come to Dick's today.

I love this bar. It is the only bar and grill I've been to where the customer is not right and will never be right. Service is good and the food is good but the staff is rude and funny. Great place for drinks and fun.

Located in the West End of Dallas which is the most happening place when visiting this area, Dick's Last Resort is a fun little bar/restaurant that is a must see when visiting Dallas. There are bands that play all day on the weekends and a quaint bar area that has really good drinks. The food is very good (mostly American type dishes such as burgers and steaks) and at a decent price for the downtown area. The wait staff are told to be rude to their customers and it can be down right hysterical at times. When I was there, something in the kitchen caught on fire, and the staff turned a serious situation into a funny joke and make things much better. Dick's sells funny T-shirts that are a bit on the raunchy side but really cute and creative. If you want to have fun, visit Dick's! GO TODAY!
PROS: Fun place with good food
CONS: Nothing really

GREAT BIRTHDAY FUN
by MZV83
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO DALLAS AND I ACCIDENTLY FOUND D'S LAST RESORT WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR TGI FRIDAYS. MY FRIEND HAD TOLD ME ABOUT IT BUT I DIDNT KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT ON MY OWN. BUT I DID AND I'M GLAD. ME AND MY TWO BEST FRIENDS CAME TO DALLAS FOR A GIRLS BIRTHDAY GETAWAY WEEKEND. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT IT WAS A CASUAL FUN ATMOSPHERE. OUR WAITRESS WAS GREAT SHE ASKED WHERE WE WERE FROM AND EVEN INTRODUCED US TO ANOTHER GROUP THAT WAS VISITING FROM THE SAME STATE WE'RE FROM. SHE ALSO HELPED US SEARCH FOR NIGHT CLUBS IN THE AREA SINCE WE WEREN'T FROM THERE. WE ORDERED DRINKS AND THEY ARRIVED WITHIN MINUTES OF US ORDERING THEM. THE MENU DIDNT HAVE MANY SELECTIONS BUT WHAT DID CATCH MY EYE WAS ON THE APPITIZER MENU. IT WAS THE CRAB SPHERES. OH MY GOSH THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS. AFTER ORDERING OUR MEAL IT TOOK APPROX. 10 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE ORDER FOR US TO GET OUR MEAL. EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GO WE ASKED FOR OUR CHECK AND OUR WAITRESS TOLD US SHE WOULD BE RIGHT OUT WITH IT AFTER WAITING 10 MINS FOR HER TO BRING IT TO US WE GOT UP AND WENT LOOKING FOR HER. WE FOUND HER IN THE FRONT AT THE REGISTER TENDING TO OTHER PATRONS SO WE HAD TO WAIT IN LINE WHEN WE GOT TO THE COUNTER SHE HANDED US OUR CHECKS AND WE PAID BUT HAD TO WAIT FOR CHANGE BECAUSE THEY DONT KEEP CASH IN THE FRONT REGISTER SO SHE HAD TO GO TO THE BAR TO GET OUR CHANGE WHICH DIDN'T TAKE VERY LONG AT ALL. OUR WAITRESS TOLD US GOOD NIGHT AND WISHED US A GOOD TIME WHEN WE WERE TO GO OUT THAT NIGHT. OVERALL OUR EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT, LOVED IT, LOOKING FORWARD TO VISITING AGAIN.
Pros: THE SARCASTIC FUNNY HUMOR OF THE WAITERS AND WAITRESSES
Cons: PARKING LIMITED MENU SELECTIONS

great b.day experience
by bonkersdean
We took my daughter here with a group of friends for her 17th bday. We had a GREAT experience!! The food was good (we had ribs, the kids mostly had chicken tenders). They had a great band playing and our waitress was fun and very nice. Overall the kids had a blast wearing goofy hats and getting messed with by the waiters. I highly recommend it for older teens and up....
Pros: fun atmosphere, great band, decent food
Cons: parking a bit hard to find

worst food, worst service, worst atmosphere
by theREALdeal27
my friends and I are new to texas and thought that this would be a great place to try since the website gives you the impression that it is a fun place with good food type of place with a great sense of humor. Instead it goes down in history as the worst place to even think of going to. I realize that this place is supposed to be funny and sarcastic.... ok i get it.... but the waiters were straight up cocky as hell, not even in a funny way. they didnt even laugh along with their supposed jokes. i was stunned that this place is still open. THE DRINKS ABSOLUTELY SUCKED! the waiter was not a "d*ck" he was a COK. and then we thought well... lets stick around for the food..... I WOULDNT FEED THAT FOOD TO STARVING KIDS IN SOMALIA.
the service was ridiculous. our waiter spent more time talking to random women and trying on their hats !! i really dont know what those workers get paid for.
ive been all over the world and have had experinces at many different restaurants. but this place is straight up trash. allow me to repeat ,myself... WORST FOOD , WORST SERVICE, HORRIBLE ATMOSPHERE
.
my group left in a nasty mood. the experience got us so upset that we went straight home and still get angry if ever the restaurant is brought up. dont waste your money.
calling this place "trailer park trash" would be a compliment.
Pros: there are none

Trailer Park

I made the mistake of hosting a bachlorette dinner here. My friends and I are not really the "trashy" kind and this place was really meant for that atmosphere. We showed up looking very nice (as we usually do) heels and all and had reservations...ending up waiting about 45 minutes, upon walking in we felt wayy overdressed.
The guys that were there were drooling over us and we couldn't eat without them wanting to take a picture with us...at least we got a beer out of the deal.
The food wasn't anything great to speak of and some items were overpriced. I don't mind paying $15 for a meal, i've definitely paid more...but i would like for it to taste good. AND everything pretty much is fried and greasy...imagine that.
So, if you're feeling grungy, trashy, and dirty...definitely go...other than that: it would be your worst nightmare.
Pros: can't think of one
Cons: everything
