Give them a break.........
by TSCARDEN
Harley222's review on Lit'l Scholars is at best unfair. My son was in the same class as her two boys. I watched them bulley other kids and teachers unprovoked. My son hated going to daycare because these boys and nearly forced us to find another facility. I agree that we pay the daycare to do a job and from almost three years of care from them, they seem to be doing just that. I don't think it is fair to expect all the other patrons of the daycare to endure constant disruptive and abusive behavior. Thank you Lit'l Scholars for keeping my child safe.

Very stoic and rude
by Harley222
I had my boys go there for the mere location benefit, it was close to my work. At first there were no problems, it was an adjustment for them to go from having a stay at home mom to teacher after teacher after teacher. The turn around was unbelieveable. I know that boys will be boys and they aren't called the terrible 2's and 3's for a reason. But I was getting phone calls everyday because my son was being 'abusive', a two year old, a 3 year old... for heavens sakes, who hasn't seen a kid throw a tantrum. So repeatedly they would kick them out of daycare, they couldn't even give me specific reasons why. And funny thing is it was only when the director was there (which wasn't often) but the other assistant directors and teachers had no problems with my boys. They are in the child care business if I remember right... I do have a child with special needs and he was the first to be permantently kicked out and then suddenly all the things they claimed my first son did, the second son started miracously doing even though he'd never been in trouble before. So out he went as well. I think for being in the child care business, they are not at all professional. They are not kind of considerate to the parents. We pay them to do a job, they're not doing us a favor, they're paid to do a job... that they can't seem to do.
Pros: location to my job
Cons: pricey, rude employees and an awful director

Unacceptable Daycare
by hayzosa
Had many problems with daycare facility. Our 3-year-old son attended for 2 days and we had prepaid for the remainder of that month (10 days or so). On his second day, my husband entered building and there was a disabled child unsupervised who was having a raging fit. My husband approached the teacher who told him this was the only place he could go and left him unattended. The daycare smelled of old unrine. Not a recommended choice for a child. Daycare refused to refund our pre-paid monies.
