Not only will you get your daily fix of all the regular and hard to find brand name beauty supplies....you will dive into beauty, makeup, and costume heaven!
The owners are veterans...they know EVERYTHING there is to know about the beauty industry, as well as theater makeup and costuming for film, theater or just for fun.
If you are lucky Rick Taylor will be there. He is a long time Hollywood Makeup Artist (notice the multitudes of autographed celebrity photos that cover the walls)as well as founder of this amazing shop!
Plan to stay awhile! There is much to see!

PROS: variety, fun, ecclectic
CONS: very busy, sometimes long lines.

Great store for beauty supplies, theatre make up and costumes. The costume selection especially is really quite good and varied, but the costumes themselves vary greatly in authenticity and quality. Just like everywhere else, you get what you pay for.
It's a fun store to look around in, but you get the general feeling that the employees are kind of sick of people "just looking" and would rather you didn't, unless you're going to buy something. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this store to anyone in need of make up, costumes and other beauty needs.

Taylor Maid is a very uniqe store. But it has everything a dramatic person could wish for. With the best brands of stage make up and the needs to cover hair and costumes you will be set for the upcoming spooky season.

Ok, like most beauty supply stores you will find quite an assortment of items here. Everyhting from the very weird to the very usefull. It took us a while to find what we needed but the staff were very helpfull and pointed us in the right direction. Definetly a great place to go for halloween!
