Midvale Mining Co Restaurant

We've been going to Midvale Mining Co. for years, mostly because the food is great but partially due to the owner being so charitable to the Midvale Senior Center and the Boys and Girls Club and we want to pay him back for his generosity.

The Veggie burgers are the best, the coffee is delicious, the portions are huge (we tell them to give us smaller portions or it will go to waste....or waist, lol) and my picky 12 year old loves the food and that's saying something. Whether you are a steak lover or non meat eater there is plenty on the menu to choose from, just wear your loose pants and save room for the scones!

I go to this place every weekend. They have the best scones omg. My whole family goes here all the time and has for years. They have the best breakfest.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times over the past 20 + years and I have never had one bad experience or an order of food that wasn't done just right.
The quality and flavor has always been perfect, and like someone else said, the scones are the best, no doubt about it.

I ordered a french dip and it came on a HOT DOG BUN and it was the darkest brown meat eer. Gross. Do not eat here.

The diner is cozy and the service is great. Food was warm and tasted great.

The best non-chain restaurant for its value in Salt Lake City. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. The prices are outrageously low for the portion sizes. I highly recommend the Steak, as well as the Chicken Cordon Bleu here. The sauteed mushrooms are divine. The scones! Oh, the scones! If the scones here were human, you'd try to marry them.

Every item on the menu will be the best you've ever had, and you'll never leave feeling like you need to put some overtime in at work because of the prices.

I only wish there were one of these in every city. The food does take a while to get to the table, however, this is because it is all made to order, and that is why it is just so good!
