My wife was having problems with her brakes while I was out of town. She dropped it off at Utah Valley Auto.
She left it for me to pick up when I got home. When I showed up, I don't think they expected me to check their work. They claimed the back pads needed to be replaced, and there was a crack in the master cylinder. I had expected the master cylinder as I noticed some fluid under my wifes car the week before. I could see the pads were the same ones I personally installed 10 months before.
They tried to back out the mess by claiming they had only suggested I replace the pads, and being billed for them was just an error.
I can't say for sure it wasn't an honest mistake, and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I wont be going back.
I wont be going back
PROS: They did ok work
CONS: tried to charge me for work they didnt do
