I had a great experience. They were very busy, but still made me feel like I was their #1priority. I left in a new Tacoma and couldn't be happier. The manager Kelly personally thanked me and was very kind and sincere in thanking me for my business. Top notch!

Review of Gephardt Approved and Brent Brown Toyota: I went to one of Bill's "approved" businesses, Brent Brown Toyota, and have never been treated so poorly by an auto dealership. Short story, they threatened to sue me when I pointed out that I felt they breached a contract. In my opinion, Brent Brown Toyota should not be on the Gephardt Approved list. The customer service and general manager demeaned and berated me after papers were signed. They acted unprofessionally. They told me they would rather lose money on the deal because they had a point to prove. Bill took the side of the dealership and I did not receive the Gephardt $1,000 guarantee that he promotes. Brent Brown Toyota removed my non-complimentary review and locked their Facebook website for updates. I noticed they allow positive reviews of employees but they didn't allow a negative one by a customer. I would be VERY careful about both Brent Brown Toyota and Gephardt "Approved" businesses. My opinion is that they both have credibility issues.

I will never deal with Brent Brown Toyota again!

When several of our AWD Sienna minivan's dashboard diagnostic symbols simultaneously lit up, after driving over a modest bump in the road, we took the van in to see if there was anything we should be concerned about, anticipating some minor electronics error would need to be fixed.

The shop told us (with a straight face) that we had simultaneous failures of multiple parts, and that our differential, transfer case, timing belt, water pump, and brake light switch would all need replacement, for a total of $3,987 to fix.

We've been very responsible in servicing and maintaining this vehicle and I couldn't believe that all of these problems could arise, by coincidence, at once. The shop assured me that they had and offered to either make the repairs or pay us $7,000 for the vehicle (about $2500 below Kellys Blue Book trade-in value).

I took the van to a Toyota mechanic, from another dealership, for a second opinion. After giving the car a careful inspection, he said that the car was very clean and in excellent shape, with a small, slow oil leak from the differential that could be easily fixed and with only routine servicing required to make it good for years to come. On our instruction, he took care of everything with top-of-the line Toyota parts for less than 1/5th what Brent Brown's shop quoted us.

The van is running like a charm with no drips, dash light malfunctions, or other problems remaining.

In short, the dealership tried to either vastly overcharge us on largely unnecessary repairs, or to scare us into trading the car in far below its actual value - both of which practices I find reprehensible.

Nothing could induce me to ever return to that dealership.

I had to take my car in to get worked on. The back door handle of my sequoia broke. Although Toyota was the only place I took the car for an estimate, they did a good job, got the work done in 2 hours, and I was back home before too long. I paid over $450- $275 of which was the cost of labor. I find it hard to swallow when the cost of the labor exceeds the cost of the actual part they installed. Seems that there should be some sort of a cap to that ratio. Otherwise, satisfied.

My in-laws referred me to Brent Brown because of their exceptional customer service. I was so satisfied with all the people that helped me find the car that fit my wants and needs. I was especially impressed with their internet department, Claudia helped answer all of my questions without having to even go in, which eventually led to the car my husband and I could both agree on. Now we are both happy!

I purchased my Certified used Toyota Camry at Brent Brown Toyota through the internet department. I was working with Claudia and she was amazing! She gave me all information I needed and answered all of my questions promptly. The manager Drew Brown was also very helpful when Claudia was not available. Great buying experience! Love my car! I will definitely recommend Brent Brown Toyota to my family and friends.

I like Toyota vehicles, but not the sales experience (finding your car and then haggling over price). I suggest you shop 3 or 4 different Toyota dealerships for the best deal because not all dealerships have the same prices or selection, and when they know you're comparing them with other Toyotas they are faster to give a better deal. I've had Toyotas before, and I used the build-your-vehicle feature on Toyota's website (so I knew what the cars could come with and for how much) but dealerships consistently told me the car I wanted was not available and could not be built OR would tell me they had the car but the Toyota 0% financing didn't apply to the car I asked about; and they tried to sell me something else as a compromise. When Brent Brown Toyota does not have what you want their salesmen promise they will call when they get the car or deal you want, but they rarely do. I didn't even lowball them on a sales figure; instead I had only said that I wanted them to offer a better price than their competitors and told them that I would go to their competitors to be certain of it. Alas, no follow-through from Brent Brown, unless I called or came back later with the same request. Other dealerships called me repeatedly until I told them I had already bought a car with a competitor.
I had an Avalon to trade in, and I wanted the new car to have all the same colors and features as I already had (radar adaptive cruise, smart key with soft-touch exterior lock, nav and bluetooth; black on black) but also with the option to turn on and off the VSC, and a newer model nav. At Brent Brown Toyota a salesman named Bill McDearmot promised he could get the exact car I wanted from a different dealer; but when the car came (three hours late) it was not the color I wanted. He then began crying, and telling me he dealer-traded it as a commitment with no return option, and that he would be in trouble by his boss, and told me how he has pain from physical handicaps, and family problems in his home, and actually tried to guilt me into the car. I walked out and later learned that Bill had filed the paperwork to his boss saying I had committed to buy the car when I hadn't. When a different salesman named Jared Clayton called me I learned Bill had been fired for misconduct and they assigned Jared to clean Bill's mess and salvage a sale. By this point none of the Toyota dealerships had what I wanted and said they couldn't get it, so when Jared told me he could get it I was doubtful but intrigued. I learned that Toyota once offered black on black, but now the interior "black" is actually black-bordeau which is more of a dark red. I didn't want the red, and because they now don't even make black anymore I compromised for a gray interior. Toyota also stopped offering the radar adaptive cruise control (only had standard cruise control) on the Avalon, but at least gave the Avalon the option to turn off the VSC. Jared had a habit of promising to call me, and would give me an exact time, but then would never call me. I agreed to buy the car even though they didn't have it and needed to buy it out of their region, but I wanted it on a satisfaction guarantee. The car was delivered four days after the promise date. I then posed an idea of buying a second car for my wife: a Corolla LE with after-market nav, but Jared didn't call me back even for an additional sale. I asked for a $250 finance price range (with $0 down) and Jared initially said it would be easy to stay within the price range I wanted, but then told me it would be financed at nearly two hundred over what I wanted. Also, the "new" Corolla came with 250 miles on it.

I am disappointed to see so many low ratings. I had an amazing experience with Brent Brown Toyota! My family has been buying cars from them for several years and this was my first purchase from them. I enjoyed how willing to work with me and anything I needed they worked with me. They gave me a great price on my car, I just wish that they would have done a little more with the car before it was sold.
Other than that I would recommend them to anyone!

I don't even want to give this place one star...they don't deserve it. I bought a tacoma that I had to carfax on my own, they didn't supply anything. The carfax said one accident for under $1000 which I was ok with. They said they inspected the truck and the history was clean. I had insurance put on the truck and my agent looked up past insurance claims and found 2 accidents totally $11,500 worth of damage. Brent Brown said they would do a trade in for equal price but they lie. they are wanting to make me pay for the sales tax, licensing and registration all over again which is $2000. They are not willing to take responsible for thier faults and only want to make sure they don't loose anything...even if it meants the customers lose out. After this situation is done......which it is far from over, I will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend anyone go there.

I purchased an "inspected" vehicle in 2010 from Brent Brown Toyota - they reassured me several times that it had been thoroughly inspected and they would never sell a "bad" car.

One year later, they are telling me the engine has too much "sludge" due to lack of oil changes and needs to be replaced. $7000 quoted for a used engine to be installed.

Obviously the car was not as inspected as they claimed. So now i'm out the amount I spent on the car, and have to pay 7k for a new engine if I want to keep driving it.

Salesman was good, unfortunately he is just the scapegoat the Sales Managers use to give them deniability of their lies. I thought the last Toyota dealer was the worst I had dealt with, these guys even beat them. Anyone out there that can tell me which Toyota Dealer sucks the least?

Brent Brown was amazing! My salesman was so nice and didn't pressure me! He researched cars before I got there based on my situation! They gave me a much lower interest rate than I expected! I thought I could only afford a 2009 RAV4 but they got me into a 2011 for the same payment! Loved it! I will definitely go back!

To "Mr D"!!!! I'm assuming the "D" stands for Dummy?? I'm a loyal customer and friend of Brent Brown Toyota. Im Sure there is certainly more to the story than the lies You are spewing. Takes a real man to cast lies across the Internet. Perhaps you should be an adult, own up to your obligations and be a man. I'm sure this is nothing but a bit of "buyers remorse". Be a man and stand by your word and the contract in sure you signed.

Brent Brown Toyota has sold me and my family 20+ cars over the years. EVERY one has been an enjoyable, simple, straightforward and fair deal.

I took in my old Toyota Camry in to Brent Brown for a brake job a number of years ago. It definately says something if I am writing a bad review of them so many years later! I was young at the time, and I think the service rep tried to take advantage of that, thinking, "he's young, I can run a line of BS with him." He tried to sell me about 2,000 dollars of work on the car. Fortunately I contacted the small shop back east that had worked on the car recently and they easily discredited most of what he was saying it needed.

That wasn't the end of it though.... a half of year later I needed another brake job. Hmm. I left thinking that in the future I would insist on seeing the mechanic do any work with my own eyes. I kind of doubt they even did the brake job they billed me for.

After the experience, I remember trying to talk to a manager with my complaints and get a refund. No luck... surprise surprise.

Don't go to them, seriously.

All the cars are 8 to 15 thousand dollars overpriced, the value for trade ins are always way below Kelly's Blue Book or NADA guides. Be aware of the fact that there's an internet price that's reasonable and a dealership price that's outragously high on the same car. Sales guys don't make any money if you know the internet price.
Managment only cares about one thing, the BOTTOM LINE. Customer service is a fake smile and the sales people have to constantly remind themselves that they're "good" people while screwing you over.

We have had nothing but problems since we bought our vehicle. Poor staff that cannot carry through with anything promised. Had to resign the paper work numerous times, payment to be made by the company, never was and almost went againt our credit. Consumers be very careful, company has not been honest or trustworthy. Carefully look at paper work and make sure it is as initially described.

I brought in my Tacoma to have a part looked at and replaced, they gave me an estimate of $350. Not knowing much about the inner workings of vehicles I thought that the quote was reasonable but in an attempt to be knowledgeable I called another large dealer up north in Salt Lake and got the same quote for $165 LESS! Dishonestly could not discharge more out of the service department. To bad for the company as a whole! This situation only reflects on the entire company!!!

Brent Browns "Lack of" Service Manager could care less about customer service. He is only interested in what kind of money they can make on the job.
I went in with obvious warranty issues and both he and his service writer elected to play pick and choose on what they were going to repair. I went to a SLC Dealer and they had no problem covering the items Brent Brown wouldn't. On top of that The service writer wasn't there when I took the car in even though he set the appointment. Then I ended up leaving the car there half the day and come back just for them to tell me that they needed to order the parts. It took then a minute to see that the part needed to be replaced but the service writer was to inept to even thing about checking to see if they had the part before having me leave my car.

I went in and experienced what I thought was a good experience at Brent Brown. I'm a somewhat older person so they threw a lot of figures at me when I was considering a car. Then, to make a long story short, and, I have to admit it was my fault, even though I think the people I worked with were very crooked and scheming, I later knew they took advantage of me. Basically I paid sticker price (above MSRP) for the car not including the taxes, fees, etc. My first warning to you is to avoid business with Brent Brown Toyota in Prove, and if you do have a reason to go there, be aware that, at least, one of the salesmen and a certain finance person are very DISHONEST! I can give you names if you'd like. I honestly believe, and the figures prove it, that these people RIPPED ME OFF!

My car buying experience at Brent Brown was very good. It was the regular painful deal, but I left with a good car at a good price and I was happy.

However, the service department is a completely different story. All services are overpriced (e.g., $70 for an oilchange and $400 for a 30,000 mile service). I had decided I would pay the high price to make sure things were done right and the car lasts a long time. I had my 2008 Corolla serviced recently. When I went to pick it up, the charge was significantly more that I had been told when I dropped the car off. Luckily, the person wrote the quote on the work order. Even with the quote in writing, the service person lied to my face about the price I had been told. Another service rep also lied to me about the price of the service I received. When they pulled the service up on the computer, the price was different from what I was quoted and different from what both service personnel had told me. In the end, I got the quoted price, but not before a 30 minute heated argument in which I was lied to and accused of lying.

I don't care how good the buying experience was, I will never purchase another vehicle from the dishonest Brent Brown dealership.

these guys have ripped me off for the last time! they didn't honor the toyota warranty for 5 yr 60,000 miles...always overcharge and do whatever they can even though you don't really need it. The only reason I went there after my first bad experience is because I thought it was under warreny but they were able to charge my 700 bucks because I was out of town and not able to say NO!

Poor Service! Really poor service department and policies. I had recall work done on my 2002 Tacoma. They replaced the front right ball joint, just over a year later the same ball joint broke when my wife was driving the truck. Fortunately, it was on a residential road and she wasn't driving very fast. Brent Brown say they can't do anything because the parts are only guaranteed for a year. Ball joints should last longer than a year, I'm thinking. Unless you get a "Toyota" ball joint installed I guess. They say that they're willing to look at the truck to determine if it was installed wrong but they have to have the truck taken to the dealership to make an assessment. I can't afford to pay a tow truck to haul my truck down to brent brown for an assessment and they don't make house calls I'm told. I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars for repairs because brent brown installs faulty parts.

Stay away from Toyota vehicles and definitely, stay away from Brent Brown Toyota.

What a rip off, I couldn't find a used civic with low miles anywhere so I was forced to work with them. They overcharged me and wouldn't come down at all. They told me it was all in working condition, but when I got home the Stereo didn't work and they wouldn't fix it. Don't work with Chris Cervantes or Kelly the finance manager they were the ones that ripped me off.

I went there to check Toyota Sequoia. I was stupid and convinced that they will give me the best price and best service. I wanted different color than what they have in stock. They told me they can get the car in few days. I added GPS and back camera and they told me they will provide everything high end Toyota accessories. I wanted to buy after seeing the vehicle but they assured me that I??ll get the best price and if I don??t like then I could change it. The sales man was very forceful and would not let me to leave without signing purchase. I was stupid and signed purchase agreement. Next day I checked two dealers and found I??ve overpaid $5000.
I came back to dealer and asked them to match the price. They were rude and told me they can not do anything since I signed purchase agreement, I can not do anything except take the vehicle.
After few days, I received the car and found they installed cheap GPS and back camera instead of original Toyota brand.
Utah does not have 3 day cooling period for purchase and I do not have anywhere written that they promised for original Toyota GPS so I could not do anything.

If you ever go to this dealer make sure to check the price first with other dealers and don??t let them make you sign the contract until you verify the price. Lesson learned.

Beware of the ''Tires for life Scam '. Purchased a new Tundra 2 from Brent Brown years ago.Put 43K miles on original tires with perfectly even treadwear but missed one scheduled maintenance...so today I get the Brent Brown shaft. Here's the SCAM. They over-charge huge on the scheduled maintenance so by the time the tires wear out you basically bought the new set yourself. Of course when you buy the Tundra the salesman says ''it's great you get new tires for the life of the car''. Hope it was worth it Brent! Mark Nordstrom

I've brought multiple vehicles into Brent Brown for repairs. Both the Dodge and Toyota dealerships. Each time I was treated honestly, and the work was great. I will definitely return.

My experience in buying a car at Brent Brown was basically a positive one. The pricing negotiation is always a hassle and this was no exception however they were fair. They have exceptional customer service. They call to check how the car is performing and if you are having any issues. Their mantra is we bend over backwards to please you, I think they do a good job there !

I have been here several times in the last few years and each time it has been a pretty pleasant experience. I needed a new car and they worked with me greatly. I still owed money on my old car -far more than it was worth. I thought that it would be a problem but when they found this out they said that they could take care of it and get me into a new car. I feel like I came away with a fair deal and the car has worked great. They worked on the price and put me in a car that I felt like I could afford.I would definitely come back here again when I need another car.
