Tim Dahle's buisness is typical of the man himself. He is a multi-millionaire who won't life a finger to help his own brother-in-law who is in foreclosure and will be on the street with his wife and two kids. Talk about a JERK, a world class JERK. I did not enjoy my experience here at all. Extremely pushy and so many hidden fees it is ridiculous! They may be nice at first, but it quickly turns to high pressure if you decide to buy. Anybody with a brain can clearly see that they are screwing you over with the fees alone, and who knows what else. Once I decided to walk after seeing how much they were going to charge for fees, they were very rude and unhelpful. I will NEVER go back to Tim Dahle Murray!

I also found Cody, the General Manager, unhelpful and obviously on his own agenda to get you to pay the most money possible, even if they are screwing you over. It seems pretty obvious that they write a lot of there own reviews because there is no way there would be so many positive reviews with how horrible their dealership is. AVOID Tim Dahle Murray, there are much better dealerships out there!

Andrew Whitehead is the only Honest car salesman left in Utah, He will treat you fairly and he always does what he says he will do! When I went to Tim Dahle Nissan Murray to look at Sentra I expected the typical "car sales people." That's not what I got at TIm Dahle Nissan and with my salesman Kamron. Went to look at a used car, we were really interested in it but wanted to have it looked at elsewhere to make sure nothing major needed to be fixed.

They assured us that they had already ran it through their "120 point inspection" or some such garbage and that we didn't need to bother. We got it checked out anyway, found there was at least $800 worth of repairs that needed to be done that they had not mentioned. (Besides a heater problem that had not yet been diagnosed. Yes, they were trying to sell us a car, in January, that did not have a running heater!)

After telling them this, they proceeded to lie through their teeth about the car having not been inspected because they were expecting to wholesale it. Yeah right! They were just hoping someone wouldn't bother looking into all of the problems.

Then they told us that if they completed those repairs they were going to jack up the price. The car was already listed as being in great condition and needing no work done!! When we said we were no longer interested and pointed out their lies, we were promptly hung up on.

Eric was a complete jerk and their sales manager was a liar.

Stay far, far away. And if you do want to purchase a car from them, have it checked out someplace else!

THESE GUYS ARE CONS!!!!!

I traded my Jeep and put $1,000.00 down towards an Armada. I was told that I would get a phone call within a few days to see if I got approved. So I left my Jeep there and took the Armada home. 3 days go by and not a word from these idiots. 2days after that I decided to go to the dealership and see what happened. They told me they could not get me approved for the Armada but they could get me approved for a new car and it would take a couple days to get the terms figured out. So they had to give me my Jeep back until then.
When the guy brought my Jeep to the front he also greeted me with an invoice for maintenance repairs that they did to my Jeep while they had it that totaled over $800.00. They claim that they had to replace the brakes, but I had just replaced them less than 3 months before the trade. And when I tried to complain, THESE GUYS ACTUALLY TOLD ME THAT i COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE I SIGNED A POWER OF ATTORNEY FORM!!!!!
So I was left with 2 choices... 1- I could keep my Jeep, lose my $1,000.00 down payment, and pay over $800.00 in repairs that they did to a Jeep that didn't even belong to them yet. or 2- I could give them the Jeep and use the $1,000.00 towards a new car. LOSE/LOSE SITUATION!!! The problem is that I would still have to purchase a brand new car from these guys and it would cost me about $30,000.00.
LOSE $1,800.00 OR PUT MYSELF $30,000.00 IN DEBT!!! I took my Jeep and came straight home to write this review. And now they're gonna have to fight me to get paid for the maintenance. GOOD LUCK!!!

Tim Dahle Nissan in Sandy is the biggest joke of a dealership I have ever seen. I was helping my daughter, who is a single mother, look for a used car. We found what we thought to be the perfect used car for her and it was in her price range. This was on a Monday. The financing had been arranged privately. The customer service was terrible. We should have known the next day when we went to pick up the car with my daughter and grandaugher and had to wait 2 full hours to be told the car wasn't ready yet, that we should RUN away from the deal. Supposedly, in the diagnostic testing, they saw that a belt and hose needed replaced so we could not pick up the car that day. Two days later, we were told it was ready, went in, waited another 2 hours to be told financing wasn't ready and we couldn't pick it up. What? We had our own financing. AND, THEY HAD PULLED OUR CREDIT REPORT WITHOUT CONCENT TO DO SO! HUGE VIOLATION! Again, my fault for not running as fast as we could. This went on for a week. Finally, we picked up the car. My daughter loved it. It looked to be in great shape. Two weeks later, my daughter and grandaughter were driving down the road and the car started on fire (under the hood). Needless to say, Tim Dahle Nissan acts like they have never seen us before, however, the bill to have it fixed up is now over $700.00. For a single mother of one, that's huge. And, surprise!!! They've had the car for 3 days now, still working on it, and my daughter is left without a car while trying to get to work and daycare.

I purchased a new nissan sentra from Tim Dahle and requested as part of the deal that they replace the "donut" spare with a real tire. I double checked that they had indeed given me a full sized tire before I left the lot. Shortly after I had a flat tire and when I went to replace it I found the dealer had given me a spare that wouldn't hold air. It had a large hole in the side wall that couldn't be repaired. I called the manager and told him what had happened and he didn't even offer an appology let alone a new tire. These guys will sell you hard on the extended service plan and provide poor service after the sale. They jack up their service fees and rarely if ever answer the phone. Don't waste your time with these crooks, buy your nissan somewhere else.

I have been to both locations and I have to say that just as all Wal-Marts are not created equal, these 2 stores are at polar opposites! The Sandy location www.timdahlesandy.com was FANTASTIC! Even after reading the review from the guy who went there and was unhappy the thing that stuck out to me was they ultimately took care of him.
Having been to other Dealerships that were'nt even willing to acknowledge me after the sale, its nice to see that Tim Dahle Sandy will honor even undocumented verbal promises to keep a customer.
And since I know that the Dealership isnt paid til a deal is funded from a bank I wonder if his own credit situation didn't cause most of his issues?
My experience with Tim Dahle Sandy has been fantastic, both in sales AND service.
Highly recommend.

RETURNING the Altima after 4 WEEKS of hassles over financing, no return calls, run arounds, they have no idea how to treat a customer! Going across the street to the Honda dealer where I should have been in the first place. THESE PEOPLE SUCK!! Avoid at all costs! Or deal with them at your own peril!!

I liked my salesman, and the sales/shift manager when I bought my $30,000 truck. They knew what was up and didn't screw around while we were making the deal. I was happy.

James Workman, in the Finance Department, is a weasel. Do yourself a favor, and have everything arranged before you go to make the deal, or sign a purchase contract and come back with a check later. I've bought many many cars, and this guy takes the cake as far as beadey eyed car dealer finance guys go. Seriously, when I reflect on how much crap this guy tried to pull, I get enraged. This guy is going to have a real karma crisis on his hands one day, for selling out his fellow man.

The service department has been mostly good. Included with the purchase was a complimentary 3 year/36,000 mile oil change program, and free tire replacement. Well, unless you've got infinitely more time than money, you're better off paying for it elsewhere, as the average oil change takes about two hours. Also, now that I am up for tire replacement, these guys are doing everything they can to try to deny me a set of tires.

So, do yourself a favor, and buy elsewhere. If you must buy from Tim Dahle Nissan, plan on terminating the relationship when you take delivery.

I've read some bad reviews so I can't speak about all the people, but working through the Internet department was great. I was able to pick out the car, get all the necessary information, and be in and out of the store quickly. "Thor" was especially helpful.

Don't believe the sales agent or the service dept. personnel that they will take care of you. They have been highly trained in finding ways to avoid doing warranty work and especially in finding ways to deny your right under the free tire program. And please, don't wait for service - you will be subjected to long waits in a customer lounge that only has one channel that subjects you to constant Nissan commercials. I love my Nissan car and want to love the dealer that sold it to me, but the dealer has broken it's trust and failed to live up to it's promise to 'take car of you'.

He had told me that he replaced the broken part before I bought the car. But he didn't, it was old. I called him on it, he said that he didn't care about the cars after he sells them. The part was only $50 and he was willing to lose a customer for life over it. Well he got his wish!

I have told everyone that I know never to shop here. They have no integrity and no values. They will say anything to get you to buy the car, then tell you to "GET LOST" after the sale.

We bought from the other location in The Auto Mall. It was not good business, no one knew what was going on from day to day, kept giving us the run around. We traded in a car that was not paid off for well over 30 days, they took about 3 weeks to get the financing approved. These problems were all in violation of laws but we did not know it at the time. When we were sold the car we were told that the headlights, that had rock chips in them, would be fixed. When we came back to get them fixed no on knew they were supposed to fix them for us it was a hassle. Then we were told that we could get a set of floor mats. This also became a hassle since the salesman never told anyone. It finally all was taken care of after several weeks and a lot of hassle. If you like the hassle feel free to buy from them but I will never do business there again.

They misrepresent themselves with a 7 day exchange policy. You can exchange the car for a different one (only on their lot) and for full sticker price. I still don't know who the main boss is because they all treated us terribly. Financial mgr hung up on me! At Tim Dahle the customer is never right! Great service guys!!!!
