Gallenson's Gun Shop

A man claiming to be the owner kicked my friend out because he "didn't like the way she looked" at him... I confronted him and got a child molester vibe.

great place I'v bought several guns and purchase all my reloading supplies from gallensons always can get the answers I need and have always had good prices, I have been shopping there for probably 10 years or so and will continue along with the rest of my family, thanks gallensons.

I have done business with Gallenson's for well over 25 years and they have always treated me right. It is a great place to shop and they offer and fair prices too.

I've been a customer for well over 20 years, since they were on state street. I've bought and sold countless guns from them over the years. Best prices, awesome selection, helpful staff, etc. etc. I just special ordered a rifle from Dave and it was here in a week for less than the competition.
The negative reviews are a bunch of crap, probably some people who got fired for being idiots. Grow up.

I met the owner Dave. He helped trade in a rifle I never used for a pair of pistols. I knew the retail value of all three guns and believe I received a fair deal. I also like the large selection of reloading supplies. Gallensons is always my first destination when buying gun related items.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable and on used guns give more than fair deals. I've been going there since the 70's and have had nothing but good experiences.

The review of trying to be sold a used gun for a new one is unbelievable. I've done business with this fine establishment for 20+ yrs. Don't have one bad thing to say of them. Always treated fair and with promptness. In compairing their arms pricing to other larger stores in the south part of SLC I find Gallensons to always beat the price of thier competitors

This place is a joke. tiny little shop, not enough help. The owner himself tried to sell me a used gun as new. Make sure you check your bolts, extractors for wear.

Gallensons has been around since the fifties, my dad used to take me down there, these guys are the best, anything you want to know about guns, they always have plenty of staff on hand to help you, show you the guns they have, answer your questions, and such a great selection, everything from the newest, to old collectibles. In my book, it is the premium gun store in the city of Salt Lake.
