On several occasions, I had Cascade Refining melt down gold jewelry for me. Because of some uncertainty as to karat value of some jewelry I brought in they could have taken advantage of me. But they did not as far as I could tell. In a business where trust is so important, I believe the people that work at Cascade Refining have genuine core values of honesty. They are patient and friendly. And they give you a reasonable return for what you bring to them! This is a business, I for one, am proud of and am glad to have in Salt lake City.
