I LOVE LOVE this Salon. I go to Paul and have been for years. He ALWAYS listens to my requests and never pressures me to do anything I do not want to do. The price is worth it. Do not go in and expect an expensive, personal cut and style without paying for this type of service. If you want cheap go to great clips and then get laughed at when you leave and have a patch of missing hair from your head. Every service I have received at Keiji has never left me unhappy from waxes to cuts to colors. They were all impeccable.
Just last Friday I went in to get my hair done by Karly. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but I gave some ideas and then let her take over from there. I was absolutely amazed at the results!! The color was absolutely perfect! She gave me some layers to add texture and also cut some bangs for me. Seriously I am in love with my hair! The service was amazing! It was all about me and making me happy and satisfied with the ending result. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will most definitely be going back to get my hair done again!!
Take it from me, Keiji is the very best hairstylist in the entire state. I have been going to him for over 20 years and he has never given me a bad haircut cut yet. I always get compliments on my hair and get asked where I get it done all the time. Everyone there is professional, highly skilled and truly dedicated to giving the best service to all their customers. Give them a try and you too will become a repeat customer!
I was impressed by the team work effort and the amazing styles that was displayed at the show.
What an awesome team of stylists! Best of the Best!
Salon Keiji, you guys rock!!
I had my hair cut by my usual stylist about 2 weeks ago. It was blah, boring, and too conservative; essentially, my hair was everything I told my stylist I didn't want it to be (even with me showing my stylist about 10 pictures of my dream hair style).
I found Salon Keiji on a whim and decided I had nothing to lose (but hair). When I arrived, I knew I would be in good hands after observing how much time they took to perfect a cut that other stylists would glaze over in 10 minutes. I spent about 5 minutes explaining what I wanted (without showing any pictures). What I got delivered ladies was unbelievable!!! I haven't had a superb hair cut like this since high school. My hair is now an asymmetrical layered bob, tapered in the back.
I am natural, so I can wear this cut many different ways, since they took extra care to ensure that I could change my side parts, not have a part, manipulate my bangs, wear it kinky/textured or flat-ironed, etc.
Since getting my hair cut last night, I have received about 10 compliments and counting. And I feel like my old self again...naturally beautiful! You can't put a price on what a good haircut and style does for a woman's soul. My advice: go to Salon Keiji. You will < 3 the results. I promise.
My many visits to Salon Keiji has been above par. Having had Keiji as my stylist, and knowing my style(s), feel comfortable when he suggest someone on his team to work with me should I walk in and request someone with the ability to do damage control.
I saw good reviews on this salon so I decided to give it a try. My stylist's name was "Claw". yeah... that should have been my first clue. I could barely communicate with him as his english was VERY bad and he didn't understand much. My hair washing session was awful. Just fast and no scalp massage or anything. I could have done a better job myself. He didn't do anything I asked him to do on my haircut. I told him I needed his opinion on what would flatter my type of face around my face. He had no idea what I was talking about. I got the blank stare look. Ok then.... Basically I got an expensive wash and blow dry. I asked him to NOT flat iron my hair but he did it anyway. He had frizzed my hair out when he attempted to blow dry it. He used NO product in it and then fried it with the flat iron! I should have run OUT of that place. I paid my bill but left NO tip. The girl at the front desk asked me if anything was wrong and I told her everything. She said she could get someone else to fix it if I came back next week. She was helpful and very nice and I felt bad for her. But I wanted nothing to do with the place after that experience. As I was "having my hair done", I noticed one other stylist doing someone's hair and she spent over 10 min. trying to fix her flat iron with a screw driver!! She finally went and borrowed someone elses and then dropped it on the floor with a LOUD BANG. She probably broke that one! I immediately drove over to Aveda Landis and they worked me in and I had my hair redone and got a nice cut. LUCKILY, Claw didn't over cut. He really didn't do much of anything - just made a few texturing cuts into the top half.
I've been going to Keiji for over 20 years now, my hair cuts are amazing and the color is even better! I constantly get compliments even after 6 weeks. If you??re looking for experts in hair color this is the place. In my 20 + years of going to Salon Keiji I??ve seen some pretty amazing haircuts from the other stylists as well. You can??t go wrong ?? money well spent.
For years, I have been a regular at Salon Keiji. For the many years before that I tried places all over town, but was never satisfied. Keiji at Saloon Keiji is so very talented that I wouldn't go any where else, and haven't for the last 6 or 7 years. My hair ALWAYS looks great when Keiji has worked his magic on it. The place is attractive, the people attentive and the quality excellent.
To say that I go to Salon Keiji to get my hair cut leaves out the critical information that my hair is styled during the cut. Keiji attends to each hair during the cutting process. He turns the scissors just so to get the ends of each hair to lie in the direction wanted for the style. He checks and rechecks as he cuts and takes the time needed to assure that you look great when you leave. After he blows out my hair and applies a straightening iron, he again checks and adjusts any hair that may have been missed snipping here and there so that the style is just right. At home I have no difficulty recreating the style. I have to admit there are times when I have not been able to get back to Salon Keiji quickly enough to maintain the style, and even though it grows out too much it still looks good. I have been Keiji's customer for over 15 years and love how I look. You will, too.
I have had my haircut three times at Keiji and walked out feeling like a professional model. Allie listened to what I wanted and asked the right questions. The haircut started off with an awesome shampoo and head massage. She took almost an hour with me. I truly believe this is her passion. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Been going for to Keiji for years! Would never go anywhere else. They are always going to hair shows - keep updated with the latest styles- products etc!
I have been going to Salon Keiji for several years now. Graig is one of the best hairstylists there. I have always been 100% satisfied with my haircuts. I would definitely recommend others to make an appointment with him!
I have been a customer of Salon Keiji for about 12 years out of those 12 years I was in Phoenix Az for 6 and when i first moved out of state i looked for a salon out there and was very disapointed .. so i drive back a few times a year to visit family and get a GREAT hair cut i would not trust anyone else with my hair .. and i learned that the hard way .. i love this salon and i would not trade my hair dresser for any other ...
Pros: Wonderful stylist
Yes, they are expensive, but you pay for what you get. I had to go to other stylists because I moved out of state for a while, and would end up getting my hair re-styled by Tamee when I came back in town just because she does such a good job. She is the only one that has ever been able to really manage my wavy thick hair, so it is totally worth the money.
The cut cost isn't too bad, so I just color from a box to save $.
Pros: Dependable, perfect cuts
Are you kidding me? They are so overpriced and ya, they're great but I can go anywhere and get the same for half! I wouldn't spend the money :(
I am very picky about my hair like most women are. I have had problems with not being listened to. but I tried salon keiji, and I have found the perfect place. I had calvin and I must say he is amazing all around. funny, nice, outgoing, and he REALLY knows what he is doing and what looks good. He made sure to ask enough questions to know just what I wanted. I was really nervous to try a new hair style but calvin made me look and feel awesome.
Pros: great people and great hair
Cons: have not found one
So, I have been going here since I have lived in Utah, and my regular hairstylist is April. She is outstanding with cuts and my color! I trust her enough now that I just go in and let her do her thing, she always seems to know what little tweaks to make to give my hair a little extra flair from the previous time. Every stylist there is great though. They are recently trained and will not tell you how or what to do with your hair, they really do what you want. But, I would recommend asking them for their advice, because they sure know what looks good. I would tell ANYONE to go here, no matter what your hair is like. They can do it. Absolutely fabulous.
Pros: Service, HEAD MASSAGES, Quality, Reasonable Prices
I had the pleasure of meeting Graig at Salon Keiji this weekend. It was my first time in the salon and I had scheduled highlights, lowlights, and a cut. I totally lucked out by getting Graig as my stylist. He is friendly, funny, and cute! He was also psychic, because despite my inability to explain what I wanted, I left the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. Graig was quick, but thourough, with the color, which turned out gorgeous. He really took his time on the cut, cutting both wet and dry. It's been two days now, and I have had so much fun playing with the cute modern versitility of this cut. It's just awesome and falls great whether I curl it, wear it with my slight natural wave, or flat iron. I'm so glad I found Craig and Salon Keijo. They will be hearing from me again soon.
Pros: Stylist's (Graig's) mad good skills, comfortable and professional atmosphere
A friend of mine at work always had the CUTEST hair cuts and her hair always looked so healthy. I asked for her stylist and she gave me Lindsays card. I have been going to Keiji for over a year now and would trust my hair to NO ONE else. They can do it all and have the best service. I am happy to pay the price when I know I will not regret it. You will never feel a better scalp massage either!
My family has been going to Keiji's for over 10 years now, and has made it the only salon we'll go to. Originally, Li was doing my hair, but she recently moved to California. Now, Jihee is my stylist, and if you want the friendliest, most attentive stylist who will make sure you have exactly what you want, I would suggest her. She has my HIGHEST recommendation. This salon is friendly, professional, has a fantastic atmosphere and has incredibly talented stylists. It is a little expensive, but with hair, you truly get what you pay for.
Pros: Professional, talented, experienced, wonderful ambiance, great scalp massages, expert color
I came in after a bad experience at another salon. Kasey fixed what the other salon had done and my hair looked fabulous! This salon is very trendy and not that much more expensive than anywhere else. The sylists are very experienced, helpful and friendly.
I'm a very picky hair person and I have gone to Salon Keiji for 5 years and would never change. They are always up to date on the latest styles and my hair has never been healthier. I was a salon-hopper before, but now I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else.
VERY SKILLED HAIR STYLIST, VERY PROFESSIONAL, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A BIT PRICEY BUT I FELT LIKE A MILLION BUCKS WHEN I LEFT THE SALON.
