Our family has been going to Brigham Medical Clinic for 31 years. We have had excellent service and treatment. We have always been able to get an appointment quickly with minimal wait time before being seen. Dr. Markeson is caring, competent, and kind. I couldn't ask for better medical care.

I took my children to the Drs at the Medical Clinic from the time they were babies till now. We especially loved to see Dr. Matthews because he is so good with children and kept up to date on all the latest medical information. The only problem that we found when we went in is the waiting for the Drs. There have been times where we had to wait up to 2 hours to see a Dr., the whole time being surrounded by sick children/adults. There has also been an occassion where I didn't want to wait for a long time to see a Dr. and so I called to give the symptoms to a nurse to see if I needed to come in or bring my child in and even then I have been put on hold or told I would be called back and hours will go by. Basically the Drs here are great but you will have to wait in order to see them.
PROS: Great Doctors
CONS: Long Wait to see Drs

There are some really good things about this clinic and some really bad things about it. I guess that is standard for any medical establishment.
The really good things are it is generally clean (though I don't know how often those kids toys are cleaned...germ spreaders) and you can usually get in fairly quickly to see one of the doctors (get an appointment within the same day or a couple of days of when you call).
They have their own x-ray and lab, so you usually don't have to go across the street to the hospital for tests.
There are several doctors there and they do have a doctor on call for after-hours and weekends.
The downside is that some of the staff seems poorly trained (this includes some of the doctors) and seriously overworked. The billing department is hostile and rude, regardless of it being THEIR mistakes, or if you are just asking questions. Forget about getting any help from them to resolve billing or insurance problems.
The wait time to get in for your appointment is horrendous. Worst of any place I have ever been! Even though you have to wait a long time, it is best to arrive early as they take patients according to when they check in, rather than when their appointment is. Even at that, plan on waiting 45 minutes or more. I believe they seriously overbook patients and pressure the staff to see as many patients as possible. Each patient is only alloted about 5-10 minutes. More than that, and you can plan on sharing your doctor with about 3-5 other patients at the same time, as he (no there are no female doctors on staff) races from room to room and patient to patient.
There is also a bit of a gossip/confidentiality problem as several patients to my personal knowledge, including myself, have witnessed staff openly discussing and judging patients and their medical situations, in front of other patients.
Several times I have had problems with them pulling the wrong file or losing my or my child's medical file, and inspite of muliple times te
PROS: Easy to get an appointment; on site lab and xray
CONS: overworked/overbooked; some incompetence; long wait; gossip
