I must say I am very upset with the way I was treated while shopping at this store. First off let me tell you that I am employed at a locally owned and operated retail store who is one of 700 stores nation wide so I know the value of good customer service and in no way did the employee (checker #22) show any signs of it towards my wife and I.
It was on a Sunday before noon so you know the store wasn't swamped and yes we had a FULL cart of groceries and as we pulled up the the checking area I noticed the three women checkers (one of whom was helping another customer) were doing all they could in trying not to make any kind of eye contact or any gesture that may draw me to their check station. As we proceeded we picked a checker and pull in. Once the checker looked up from the floor I greeted her with the comment "Yep we got a full one". After she buckled and the knees and damn near fainted she responded to my comment disgustedly by saying "huh, second one today" almost simultaneously the 2nd older female checker had turned around in her station to face checker #1 and gave her a facial gesture almost as if she was trying to tell her, ha ha better you than me, sort of a look. As I started to unload the cart and after a few more inside comments between the two checkers I started to feel like the joke was on me and employees at this store had some kind of game going on amongst themselves or maybe its just pure laziness! Your there to work your shift however long it may be and I will admit there has to be a time to joke and complain but not in front of your customers! What was checker #1's problem, a solid 15 minutes of solid work? I wasn't expecting her to ask how my mom and dad were doing and what my kids are up to but the few comments made and then nothing but silence for the next 10 min made me feel like the store I picked because I want to help support local businesses could've cared less for my business and they may not.
If a customer were to come to my place of business and spend the equivalent of the $300+ we spent today I guarantee that if myself or any other employee gave the "we don't give a damn for your business" additude there would be people out of a job.

Just a note to checker #22-------
DON'T MOCK THE PEOPLE WHO INSURE YOU HAVE A JOB!!!
VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS THEY VALUE YOU!!

Recently while visiting Mt Nebo Market we were "herded around by a checker." We walked into the store, my clock said I had fifteen minutes till they closed, well the front doors weren't locked and we walked in and headed directly to the items we needed. We picked the items we wanted, when a store clerk who had apparently followed us came up to us and said "We'll let you get that, but then you will have to leave we are closing." I said okay, we picked up our items and headed to the check stand, when she showed up again meeting us at the end of the isle, she then "Herded" us to the checkout stand. Not even allowing my daughter to pick up a drink on the end of the isle near the checkout. I told my daughter to pick it up and come to checkout stand, she was so intimidated by the checker she didn't pickup the item (I seen the look on both of their faces),. I said "They must want us out now, lets go". The checker said "Oh no, its not me."
I was so appalled by the treatment I was received I will not come back unless I absolutely have no choice. I have shopped at this store 18 years and have never been treated so disrespectfully. I asked if their clock in the store was fast, the clerk replied, "Maybe.. a few minutes" and they quickly checked me out. The checker said, "Thank you for coming in" I replied ""this maybe the last time you see me in here"
She then HERDED us to the doors, which where then locked and said, "Oh can't you open the door, in a very smart way." As we walked out the door, she smartly replied with an attitude, "You have a nice evening, Okay"
By gosh, I have never been in this store when they did not have an adult there to control the "Young People" in the store. As I think about it, Not any of them looked over twenty one. Makes me wonder were management is and also who's selling the alcohol in this store (yes they do sell beer and ales). I know that Utah Law requires anyone who sells alcohol be a minimum age of 21 years of age.
If the store managers are not able to pay enough to keep mature adults, or at least persons who are legally able to distribute alcohol and keep a rein on the teenagers they chose to hire. May they do not deserve my hard earned $$. My husband and I are above average earners who pay taxes Probable more then most. And with our income and this being our primary grocery store, I am sure they will feel the decrease in revenues for the actions of the rude juveniles.
Spent $13.00 on three bottles of hair products and two chap sticks.
