Please do not buy a dog from this or any pet shop. I made the mistake of buying a puppy from this place. The puppy was always sick and mean. Must have been abused at a puppy mill. The puppy ended up biting my 2 year old in the face. I also was charged about $700 more than it would have cost to go to a legit breeder. Please do your homework before buying a pet and don't make the same mistake I did.

I agree that the puppies come from puppy mills. I bought a Llaha Aspo from there and she was in very bad shape. I got her home and she wouldnt eat. She had no energy at all. When she finally went poop, it was almost all blood. She also was not pure breed as indicated. The only positive thing about Pet Village I can say is when I called them and told them what was going on, they had me bring the puppy back in and they took her to the vet and paid the vet bill. She was on medicine for almost 3 weeks. Now she is healthly as a horse except for her under bite. None of her teeth line up. Her bottom teeth poke out about a half an inch further then her upper teeth. You couldn't tell this when she was a pup. She cant eat hard dog food at all it has to be soft.

Well we bought a 6 week old puppy from them he was so sick he had Giardia, Kennel Cough, Ear mites, Yeast infection in both ears, and Pneumonia. Also he was very malnourished we think he was taken from his mother too soon that's because we feel he came from a puppy mill. Our family Vet says he is lucky to be alive!!! also if you want to buy a pet from here you better make sure its pure breed. (Get it in writing) We just found out today that the dog we spent $1000 for may not be a pure breed!!!

Over the years have bought numerous pets from this store, from lizards, snakes and fish to birds - we also buy most of our pet supplies here. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, kind and are patient with our many questions, and show a genuine affection for the animals they sell. The prices seem comparable to other pet stores, but at BWPV, you also get the knowledge and experience of the staff so hands down, this place is a winner in my book.

The Bird World Pet Store is the best they have all the small dogs there! I love it! All pet stores should have dogs! This is my favorite! this is the best pet store in the whole world of pet stores! i love it super duper duper duper duper much! it is the bomb diggity bomb bomb bomb!

This is the only store I've purchased my fish from. The selection is PHENOMENAL. If you walk the aquarium aisles and don't find any fish you like, I'll be shocked. As for the other animals, they seem sickly. I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything but fish and supplies here.

We lived for almost 10 year just down the street from Bird World and my wife and kids used to walk down and visit the animals and buy supplies. 2 years ago I bought a sun conure there and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The employees are very friendly and the prices are the same or better than other pet stores I've been to.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff and owner..!!! After a decade of of my hobby(reef aquarium) I have investigated literally EVERY AQUARIUM STORE IN UTAH. ....... Having studied marine biology, and keeping abreast of all new and pertinent information in this interesting and growing hobby, I feel confident in my judgments. Pat, Kelly,and Dan have an added perspective, with their own aquariums in their homes. Dan alone has 7......yes, seven!!!!!!!!!!! aquariums !!!!!!! The prices in this store vary from low end to top of the line in aquatic equipment and supplies. Over all, this business, at least in the aquatic section, cannot be surpassed. ----------from a very satisfied and longtime customer.

This place has an excellent selection of fresh and salt water fish. Prices are very resonable and competitive. Extensive selection of aquariums and other fish accessories. Staff is very friendly and helpful, not to mention educated on what they sell.

PROS: Excellent selection of fish and fish supplies
CONS: Small parking lot
