Granite School District

Granite District is one of the biggest Districts in Utah and because of this you would expect those of problems and conflicts but this isn't the case. After moving to Salt Lake we were impressed with the school district and the handling of holidays and other school issues. And when it came time for the district to decide if they should keep year round (track schedule) school or go back to the traditional school- 9 months school with 3 months summer- they had the parents/guardians vote for what they preferred rather than just making the decisions themselves. We also feel that the district handles their budget well and distribute it well.
