Tanner Transmission Incorporated

Tanner has had our vehicle for over 5 months. They have not helped with any kind of car rental and have told us they would not, even after 5 MONTHS. They have only called us about 6 times during this time, and if we want to find out any info, we have to call 2-3 times a day. The job was supposed to be done in 2 weeks at the longest, but has now surpassed 20 weeks. The costs involved are now much more than the dealer. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away as you can from this company. You will join a laundry list of others who have been taken to the cleaners by Tanner, and you will be sorry because there will be nothing you can do about it.

Tanner asked me to write a review. I said yes here's why. My regular mechanic told me my transmission was shoot in my 99, F-150. I took it to Tanner and they found out it was an electrical, computer problem $250.00 and out the door. I came in thinking I need to spend 2K and it was only 10% of that. Yes I would recommend Tanner to anyone. Pat, Sandy, UT

Had a 2004 GMC 4X4 2500, Tanner sold me a rebuilt transmission for $1,600.00 and guaranteed it for a year. They could have been a little quicker but for the price is was worth a 3-day wait.

Battery was stolen and vehicle was damaged in their lot. Service manager refused to repair damage/replace battery. Vehicle was misdiagnosed...what they said was a bad transmission was just a pinched fuel line. 2400 dollars later their mechanics took it to tunex and had a 60 dollar fuel pump installed. Do yourself a favor and run a google search for tanner transmission/check the better business bureau complaints before considering using this business!!!

We had to take our van in one time to get a new transmission. The offered excellent remanufactured transmissions and were speedy in getting it replaced. They had just the part we needed (we really had a hard time finding it as it was a much older car). Would definitely recommend

PROS: Got all the parts you need and are fast.
CONS: Don't go there when HAFB gets out, the traffic is ghastly!

Great place i took my car in to have the transmission done and the mechanic was very open with me on what needed to be done and very honest great place .
