Very poor service. They said I would have to "check in" my laptop and keep it for a few days do diagnose a fan problem that another store could figure out in two minutes. I will not be buying from them again.

My laptop needed updating to Snow Leopard and it needed new ram. I took it in, and the salesman ran a program that completely erased my hard drive. They said they would send it to a data retrieval service, but it's been 3 weeks, and they don't answer their phones, and they don't return messages. I went into the store to talk to them, and the salesman said they were "too busy" to return phone calls. They all hid in the back and wouldn't talk to me. I have no idea what the status of my hard drive is. Don't go there, and don't buy anything from them! They are inept, and dishonest.

I took in a 27 iMac because it wouldn't start up. I had spent 25 minutes on the phone with Apple Support and they couldn't solve the problem. When I dropped it off for service I was told it would take a couple of days to get working again. As I left, Geoff Tribe, one of the workers there said he would make sure it was taken care of. I thought it was just him being polite but I got a call 2 hours later that they had fixed it and was ready for pick up. I have no idea what Geoff said or did, but two hours is much better than two days. Maybe Geoff didn't do anything. He didn't promise anything other than to make sure it was taken care of, but I was so nice to have someone care, and even more exciting to get it back in just a few hours. Thanks Simply Mac

I've always had exceptional experiences with Simply Mac. When I bought my first mac back in '07 down to today, they have always given me the advice and help I needed to be totally setup. I read a lot of reviews on Simply Mac that aren't that great but all you have to do is walk in and see that all the bad reviews are dead wrong! I wish more people who had great experiences like mine would write reviews as well.

Rip off! these commission based salesmen are no better than used car thief. Went in to buy a macbook pro and talk to "ben" this guy totally cocky and not caring about my needs. He recommended a 15" macbook pro. I asked him what the College discount was and he said you get $100 off if i buy some bundle that had applecare, mobileme, and iworks. I told him i had iworks and mobile me already , so he said i could have a managers discount of 30.00!
After I took it home and told my friends what i bought they told me about the student discount they received at the U bookstore. over $1100 cheaper than that i paid for. I took it back and was told I can not return it since i opened it! Ben said you should have read the fine print on the receipt before you sign anything. really? i buy a computer that i was tricked into buying so he cold hit a commission goal.. they laughing in the back as well. I was offered 3% off in accessories. NEVER BUY AT SIMPLY MAC!

I recently visited this store and had amazing service. They got me everything I needed and felt they were very genuine in assessing my needs. They actually recommended a computer that was less expensive than what I was originally looking at. They asked the right questions and gave me honest answers. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I worked with creighton.

The salesmen complety ignored us when we walked in. We heard several customers complain as they walked in a few feet from the front door and left immediately still angry. I recommend taking the extra drive time to the mac store. Do not waste your time here. I believe the only good reviews have been left by employees trying to up the ratings.

Their service is NOT geared for the professional who uses his Mac everyday. I asked for a new internal NIC card to be ordered and then I could schedule an appointment to go have it installed. They claim that they have to open my Mac to order a part, even though the "About This Mac" info can show everything one needs to know to order the part. Then they need to keep the Mac for two days. I offered to pay a rush fee and schedule an appointment, but no deal. They still treat Macs like toys and have no regard for professionals who can't afford to have their system down for two days. Any PC support place worth its salt has same-day service with a rush fee.

I took in my Macbook Pro because the screen wasn't coming on. I knew this particular model had a recalled graphics card and assumed that was the problem. Simply Mac told me that it was the logic board and it would cost $1225 to fix. They offered to recycle it for me in exchange for waving the diagnostic fee. I declined. Based on their information, I bought a new laptop and gave the "broken" one to my brother. He took it to an actual Apple Store who took all of 5 seconds to diagnose a faulty graphics card and fixed it free. I believe Simply Mac was trying to fraud me out of the computer so they could fix it themselves for free and turn around and sell it. I went in there with the paperwork saying it was the graphics card and they said they couldn't do anything for me. I will NEVER set foot in that store again and I urge others to do the same.

Best service ever! I called the Apple Store in Salt Lake to fix my mac and they said it would be 7-10 business days to get my computer back if I dropped it off for service there but recommended I check out Simply Mac since it is close to where I live. I took my machine in and they got my mac back to me fixed in 3 days. The guys that worked there were great and it was a great experience. Definitely going back there.

Go to mac docs just a little south off state. Way better service and honest to boot.
I took my 2007 Imac in and wanted to have it serviced, they guy , mike who helped me kept coming back with a higher price for the service I was inquiring about.
Mac docs not only under cut them on the price they gave me the best treatment ever.

I own a PowerBook G4 and needed a new power cord. My PowerBook is an earlier model which has a different power cord than the later models. I told the sales associate what I needed and he laughed at me saying that PowerBooks only had one type of power cord. He handed me the cord used on later models telling me that's what I needed. I explained to him this was not correct and he said very rudely that I didn't know what I was talking about while laughing at me. I asked to speak to the manager and he got me one from the back. I have never been treated like that before by an employee. I won't be going back.

I went to this store with my macbook with a dead hard drive. I was given excellent service by Eric and Tommy. They were very helpful. Not only did they replace my hard drive, they even upgraded the software. And throughout, they were very friendly and eager to answer any question. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who needs good customer service.

I took my laptop in here three times with the same issue, at $35 each visit, until they finally diagnosed a bad ram stick. That adds up to lots of inconvenience and downtime for a really easy fix! Lots of times you walk in there and the employees are standing around, very busy NOT working, and ignore customers as if you are an inconvenience. I won't ever go back to Simply Mac. They are rude and incompetent.

The service was slow, two gentlemen there were rude to her, and they said it'd take a week for the replacement to arrive if the PWS even "qualified" for a replacement (which we know it already did). She left, went up the street to a competitor, and received excellent service and a replacement the very next day. Don't waste your time with these lying l00sers - go to the only other authorized Mac store in Orem, UT and stay happy :)

Mac Something lacks the overall sexiness of a Macintosh Apple store, but what is missing in decor is made up for in inventory. Any store devoted to Apple products is bound to be one filled with "oohs" and "aahs" from its customers as they peruse the shelves.
Mac Something also stocks products manufactured by other companies for mac products. They have some great accessories for the iPod, as well as a good selection of carrying cases.
It's a great store for your specialized taste.
