Smith Detroit Diesel-Allison

Part of this review is in response to the previous complaint from Tana R. Do you know any of the terminology for detroit diesel parts? I'm guessing they asked if you wanted reliabilt parts, and you thought reliabilt sounded good, not even knowing it was their branch of reman products, and without thinking said "ok". I'm pretty sure with my experiences with Smith Detroit Diesel they are smart enough mechanics to know the difference between new and reman parts. As far as the test drive goes, i have to take your word for it but it sounds pretty questionable on your end. I have had several relatives that have had DD powered trucks and when they need service or parts from Smith, they have been extremely satisfied with the work that is done and how professional SDDA's employees are. I'm pretty sure if SDDA was as bad as you claim it to be there would be many more complaints on this page. TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE..........

They are not a good deal, they will talk a good game when you call but when it is all said and done the work that is done is what they want to do to your vehicle not what you requested. I requested new injectors and got reman one's, rocker arm assembly wasn't new but reman if that is what I wanted I would have asked for reman. We have been dealing with this company for a very long time since Reno doesn't have alot to offer. We thought this time it would be different since my daughter works for Sierra Freightliner in Sparks. It wasn't a good thing to let them know that my daughter works for Freightliner after that all the parts got doubled even though Smith Detroit Diesel-Allison owns both. First I was called a lier by Jeff because he said I was the person that picked up my husband when he dropped off our truck, however since I am on Oygen I don't go outside it was my daughter that picked him up. My daughter also owns half of the truck since I had to place her on it because of my illness. The registration of the vehicle says Interstate Distributor Co. with the lessor being Sheltie Express LLC which tells me whom ever is on the LLC is the owner which is my daughter and myself. I can tolerate a lot of things however lieing is not one of them when you have an employee that lies once they will continue to lie all the time, this makes the employee non-trust worthy. Oh the invoice also says that they test drove the vehicle however the miles were the same when I picked it up as when I dropped it off SO WHERE WAS IT TEST DRIVEN?
