Dr. Malachi is a stellar vet. She and her staff have taken amazing care of my dog through a variety of routine visits and surgeries. The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Malachi cares for a number of animals but takes time to call about questions or post procedure updates. Their prices are also more than reasonable. I frequently recommended this office.
I think Dr. Malachi is a gifted vet. For example, she immediately diagnosed a hearing problem with my dog. I had previously mentioned my suspicions to at least 3 other vets, each of whom told me he had no hearing issues. The bills are very reasonable too and they have never tried to oversell their services unlike every other vet in Northern Virginia seems to do. Finally, it obvious to me that she genuinely cares about animals and is always able to put my dog at ease which is a difficult thing to do.
I have been going to Seven Corners for 12 years now. The last 2 or 3 years to see Dr. Malachi who is a great vet with a nice staff. The staff is super friendly with my dog (and me). My old dog is nervous when he has to go there but Dr. Malachi always makes him feel comfortable enough to get whatever treatment an old dog needs! She is punctual but still spends enough time explaining the problems and what she can do about it. She calls home right after any surgery (so I can pick my dog up sooner) and during the day after to check on the dog and the owner! I have recommended this clinic to many people in the area. It is unpretentious (no one will snob you if you do not want the most expensive tooth cleaning treatment), relaxed (I love seeing hapy cats around) and friendly.
I love the Vet at Seven Corners! Dr Malakhi is terrific with our animals, and always a pleasure to talk to. But with that said, the other staff is horrible. The front desk staff is always loud and talking about personal business, not professional looking, and slow to do anything.
My experience was very short with this vet. I was concerned about something that might be wrong with my dog, and set up an appointment to get him checked out. They were flexible in seeing him quickly, and expressed appreciation for the fact that urgent need for an exam meant that I'd only have an hour window to bring him by. But then the doctor was more than half an hour late for my dog's exam appointment, and after a quick diagnosis they were slow in preparing cost estimates, taking their sweet time about it. The place seems poorly managed, overheard the staff discussing what sounded like a dispute with another customer. I'd recommend giving this place a miss. I won't be going back.
I have been to see the vet here once after my cat had a seizure and I will definitely be going back when our cats need checkups and updated shots.
The vet was very nice and took a long time to get to know our cat's history before doing anything. She asked a lot of questions and seemed to sincerely care about our pet.
The bill was very reasonable for this area, especially after calling around to other animal hospitals before we visited. Their were also very patient in dealing with our cat who doesn't like vet visits.
I have found my vet for this area and would recommend them to my friends and family.
My golden had a serious accident and I took her to a very reputable vet in Georgetown who completely misdiagnosed what was happening. X-rays, anesthesia, bandadge and antibiotics it was horribly expensive and for nothing.
The next day I called the hospital they took my dog immediatly in, a surgery was needed and was scheduled the next day morning.
They answered all my questions in details, explained the reeducation process, helped to get the dog back in the car.
No surprise with the bill either... no charge for cone placement or other silly things like that... and much less expensive than what other place charge for such an intervention
I would definitly recommend this rustic looking place.
