Athena Pallas

if you want authentic greek food, you must visit here. The guys(waiters/owners/whatever they are) were awesome here. The food is just like my yiayia made back in Greece . I would recommend this place to anyone. It's homestyle food with class. LOVE IT, and although I don't live in virginia I will go back in a couple of months. If you love it too, and you go there, Make sure and tell them that the philadelphia greeks sent you there. Athena Palace Se Agapame.

Located just one block off the strip of restaurants on 23d Street, this restaurant has its own parking lot in front of the restaurant. Parking spaces are tight, however, and it is easy to get sealed in. The restaurant has both inside and outside dining, and the same friendly service is offered in each area. Food is both Greek and Meditarranean. The food is very tasty and it is a great dining experience.

PROS: Great food and service plus parking in a congested area
CONS: Fairly expensive; parking spaces very congested
