but when I do a search for their business with the government as being signed up for that?

They didn't want to help me at all and treated me as if their job description was to be rude to people that bank with them. As soon as my paycheck is deposited (tomorrow so can't stop it) I'm taking my money out and going elsewhere.
They don't care about their customers.

Poor service -
My family has several accounts. When going to drive thru or going in, we tell them joint account with wife or husband. ( depending who is do the banking that week) Well, they keep putting it in my son's account. This should be simple. My son only has a savings account, yet it keeps going to his account. The clerks fail to read the screens to find the correct account. This has happened sveral times, 4 or more times. How hard is it to read ones drivers lic. and to match the right account. They should realize that minors don't have checking accounts and as for my husbands checking, it's not joint. In there system it tells them what accounts are joint, if only they read the screens and stop being lazy. They need to learn what customer service is and be willing to look up accounts so that they are correct. ( no matter how many accounts you have). I do not trust this branch of beacon Credit union on Lakeside. I have never had this with logans lane branch and plan to change back to them. It's worth the extra drive for good customer service and the fact that I know my money is straight and in the RIGHT ACCOUNT.

I love the people at this bank. I have been going there for years and everyone always seems friendly. They will say hello to you in the parking lot. My daughter loves to go with me since she will get a lollipop-they do ask me first to see if she can have it. Thanks.
