Jones Lori Dvm - Animal Medical Clinic

We just found this hospital based on a recommendation from our trainer. Dr Carrico is some kind of 'dog whisperer'! Our 8-mo old lab was a rescue and has some anxiety issues, especially at the vets. But everyone here was great at taking the time to put him at ease! They gave us some great insights into his anxiety issues too and how we can improve his self-confidence. I can see why our trainer recommends them -- their great!

I have been taking my pets here (2 dogs and a cat) for the past 8 years and all I can say is 'Wow"! They always say hello to both me and my pets, treating them very gently. Their prices are always reasonable and have always been great at explaining everything. I tell all my friends they are the best! I'll never go anywhere else!

Don't take your pet here. I took my dog in for a regular check up and initially thought they did a good job. The first time was for a regular check-up with blood work to be done. A month later, my dog had further blood work done, where they took blood from his neck! I'd wondered why they did this until I looked at his leg. His leg was bruised from the first time they took his blood (a month ago). Now his other leg and his neck had these horrendous deep blue and black bruises. When I questioned the Vet about this, she completely brushed me off and said it could be something wrong with my dog. My dog has previously had blood work done before and this is the first time there has been brusing. I took him to another vet and she said that it could be that the vet tech was not qualified to be taking blood. Therefore, be warned.
